If I have this correct (please correct me if I am wrong) I need to Super CID the phone for it to work on T-Mobil correct? The first question I should be asking is, is it possible for the phone to work on T Mobil?
you should ask this in the att note section. this is n7000 international note
to answer your question. my cousin uses att note and he's on simple mobile( tmobile)
all he did was unlock the imei code

Ahh... didn't know that. I will take a look there. Should be a fairly simple thing then if it's just that.

hello everyone
i'm going to buy the galaxy note from a phone provider in my country, the galaxy note has a chance of 90% to be locked, and i want to use other sims on it, so, is there any way i can unlock my note for free? i've also read that i can unlock it with the "galaxy s unlocker" app but i need the kj4 kernel(the method is the sam as SGS2 method), so, can i flash this kernel to my phone then root and after that unlock it with the app mentioned before? and can i flash custom roms even my phone is locked? i need a fast reply as im buying it either today or tomorrow :l
another thing, can some one give me galaxy s ii unlocking method with the "galaxy s unlock" app?
thanks in advance

You can get it unlocked remotely, I made a video and got the unlock code for free, my Galaxy Note was locked to At&t and I'm using T-Mobile Service with it now.

Hi
I have an IMEI unlock codes server, and I can provide unlock codes for all Samsung phones locked on European networks.
All models are compatible, even the most recent.
The unlock by imei don't make you loose your warranty, and it's permanent.
It's the easiest way to unlock your phone.
All you have to do is power on your phone with an unaccented sim card, type the provided unlock code, and the phone will be unlocked for ever.
The only info that I need is the IMEI of the phone. (type *#06# to see the IMEI)
And the model of the phone.
Delivery time: half hour normally.

I have codes for all brands of phones too.

I have an At&t Note 4 that I am using on ting, which piggybacks off of T-Mobile here in my area.
I am wondering since I cant find much of any custom roms for the at&t variant of the Note 4, if I would be able to install T-mobile Roms? Since I am on T-Mobile towers?
Thanks in advance.

Your AT&T phone is rooted and has an unlocked bootloader?
is there any way to get a stock at&t 5.1.1 rom on my t mobile note 4?

Oh, no, I'm not rooted or anything yet. The phone will be here in a few days.
So I take it the reason why there aren't any at&t roms, is because there is no root and unlocked bootloader? Crap!
OK, Nevermind to this thread. I just sent a return request for the at&t note 4 and I ordered a T-Mobile Note 4. Problem solved.
Apologies in advance if there's a thread for this i can't find it.
--Situation:
I have galaxy note 4 verizon 910v
I switched to tmobile, just swapped Sims everything is fine
---Now what I want to do and is this possible:
Root phone
Put tmobile rom on this device
If this is possible can someone help me I been rooting and flashing Roms for years this is my first time doing it like this
The N910V has its own Roms thread, changing the Sim doesn't change your phone to a N910T from an N910V. Do NOT use N910T Roms unless the Dev specifies that it works for the N910V as well. Enjoy

There is no root method for the 910v I have 1 along with the tmobile version. It's only a root method for the dev edition vzw N4
Thanks guys. There's no root yet for the retail n4 910v??

I quit Verizon and traded my Verizon Note 4 for a T-mobile Note 4. Best purchase I've made lately :highfive:
Verizon locked up their Note 4 'til doomsday.
Hello, does anybody know how to do a carrier switch with snapdragon like Samsung galaxy S8?
There is a how to in the S8 sub forum. Wonder if it is done the same way. Anybody tried?

We will need eng kernel before that happens. I'm sure it will be doable in the future, not now though.
Edit.....looks like note 8 could be different than the s8...

Flash to all and all to flash...no prob
So if I flash AT&T firmware on Tmobile Note 8, it should work fine on AT&T since there's no Tmobile Unlock App in it? Right?
Just bought a Tmobile Note 8 and am trying to make it run on AT&T

Yes...if you look into the s8+ forum for carrier switch there is a guide that should also work for note 8...the main focus is to change the csc...however, you may just be able to flash the ATT firmware and it work when you put in the ATT SIM. It may be better to flash the unlocked firmware first...and then to att...but to get the device to be csc ATT, instead of ATT, ATT, TMB, You may have to follow the S8+ guide...
So try the easiest first, flash ATT...If activation does not work, flash Unlocked then ATT, if that is no good...follow the S8+ guide with Canadian firmware to change csc code of device to ATT...you might pm the op of the S8+ guide about what Canadian firmware to flash to change the csc...I am going to make a guide for us when I have a chance to test it myself...if just flashing to AT&T works...awesome, good luck
Oh yeah...the device must be unlocked first to change carriers...you can get it unlocked by T mobile or by paying for it

Yes all US Note 9's have locked bootloaders. If you want one with an unlocked bootlader then buy the international Snapdragon model which has a unlocked bootloader.
