Hi, I am new to this rooting thing...
While I was flashing my Galaxy S5570 with s5570DDKC1 (stock firmware downloaded from sammobile.com) using odin multi downloader, after successfully loading files in downloading mode it didn't restarted automatically.
Now my phone only works in dowbload mode not in recovery mode.
I had installed clockwork recovery mod but not starting in recovery mod..
Please help me to UNBRICK my phone.
Thanks in advance...
had you checked reboot option in odin
you were flashing ddkc1 so I think you are Indian
as ddkc1 is froyo fw you should not flash it over gingerbread instead flash ddkq7 as it is official gingerbread fw for galaxy mini you can also find it in sammonlbile
Flash the stock froyo before flashing GB ....
It wil work...
Search on google bukab1 for mini ull get the dwn link...

Yes, I have once upgreaded it to GB 2.3.6
But I want to root my software but i was not able to root it. so i want to install froyo 2.2.1
if rooting is the problem then you should not downgrade
instead you can use stoneboytony's update.zip and can flash it in stock recovery in this way you can have root or
use superoneclick (PC) the second most easiest way to root android

I just put cyanogenmode 9 beta 7 and i really dont like it. So i want to downgrade to 2.3.6.
Before i upgrade to 4.0.4 i did a recovery for the 2.3.6. Do i need to install that recovery and go back to 2.3.6. , or i need to root it back?
I did a backup. not a recovery

You can flash any custom rom irrespective of android version
so there is no problem in downgrading from 4.0.4 to 2.3.6
but if u want to flash the stock rom then u need odin and after flashing stock rom, flash the recovery using odin
then you can restore from recovery
Well as the person above me replied , if you were using cm7 based rom then just reboot into cwm recovery and restore the nandroid backup (if you made one ). That's all about it. Do wipe CACHE and DATA before restoring.

Bro don't worry.
step 1. download the respective firmware of the region where you live from here
step 2. Make sure you installed the drivers for sgm correctly
step 3. Download ODIN and ops file
step 3. Boot in download mode by pressing home+vol down+power key simultaneously. And finally connect the device to pc through USB.
step 4. Just select one package on odin choose OPS file and the md5 file downloaded in step 1, then start the process
step 5. Boom its done.
Need further help go here.
Just a simple, download cm7 rom and flash same as you flash cm9.wipe data and cache before.

Please don't confuse the OP by giving suggestions about custom ROMs. I guess, he simply want to revert back to stock 2.3.6 ROM.
Anyways you are good to follow this : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=31766582&postcount=6

BETA 7?????????? It's the old GalaxyICS build. You should give give a shot again to ICS. Try TheWisp's version. It's perfectly stable and usable for everyday.

visit My Android Collections, look under unlock & Root, you have the option of using an app or by using your PC or flashing a CF Root or semaphore Kernel.
try this, it worked for me.
1st:
Install or Unbrick 2.3.6 Gingerbread in Samsung Galaxy S i9000
youtube.com/watch?v=DDg4oyRNets
2nd
Root 2.3.6 Gingerbread Samsung Galaxy S i9000
youtube.com/watch?v=Pq_2Z1drKzc
and i even maked my I9000 to android 4.2.1
Install 4.2.1 Jelly Bean in Samsung Galaxy S i9000 by Cenouralm
youtube.com/watch?v=LP9EomkF06c
All worked for me
I managed to root and install CWM without using a computer, here's how I did it... I was on gingerbread 2.3.6 so I installed Framaroot v1.5.2 to get root as Mobile ODIN needs root and won't work without it. link here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2130276 then I installed Mobile ODIN (free in market) and the Mobile ODIN flash kernal here http://bit.ly/17kEetk next I download CF-Root here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=788108 unzipped CF-Root and placed it in Mobile ODIN, when you open mobile ODIN it'll say you need to download extra data, but it's only if you're flashing firmware, you don't need to download the extra data just for flashing kernels so ignore it... flash it and Mobile ODIN will install CF-Root then it'll auto reboot... once rebooted, go into recovery mod and you should now have CWM as well as Root access... hope that helps.

(1st:
1.1 Follow Cyanogen mods install wiki and download the Usb-driver(remember to reboot after) and the other stuff(no need for the android sdk). Youll have to google for heimdall-frontend
1.2 Use heimdall frontend to install 2.3.6 Gingerbread(XWJVZ_heimdall.tar for i9000) and dont freak out if mobile data is not working, it will work after step 3.)
as odin didnt recognize my soft bricked device, id stick to heimdall.
2nd:
follow cyanogenmods wiki advice and use heimdall to install cwm recovery, dont forget to visit your phones settings and put USB-debug on.
3rd:
a)
use your phone to download the rom-image +gapps you want. Boot to recovery, perform wipes and install.
or
b)
or if you want to stay with 2.3.6---> flash a working modem from recovery if its not working properly.

Here is the link on how to install stock rom using odin along with all firmwares and drivers (check the "Preparations" section),
Flash stock rom on Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 using odin
If your PC cannot recognize the phone, its usually the drivers. Once installed, go to recovery mode and do a wipe data/ factory reset & wipe cache (otherwise bootloop might occur). Then restart. Now you have successfully flashed the stock rom. Here is the link for rooting and installing CWM 5 on Samsung Galaxy Ace,
How To Root and Unroot Samsung Galaxy Ace?
CWM 5.0.2.6 fix for Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830
Here is the link to the CWM4 for Froyo
ClockWorkMod 4.0.0.9 for Samsung Galaxy Ace Froyo
Hope I Helped

buddy you are saying that you want to update your froyo to gb then why are you asking for cwm right now with it you cannot flash stock gb on your ace
and you can do that only through kies or odin
cwm will help you flashing scripts custom roms and rooting not flashing stock rom
