Well, here's the history how I got my phone Samsung Galaxy S I9000 bricked.
5 months ago, I rooted my phone with One Click Lag Fix, and recently it's starting to force closing my apps, so I decided to factory reset my phone.
After that, my phone nows only boot into the splash screen, and vibrates once, and then twice ( I think it means force close.)
Any help would be nice. Help! I really need to get my phone fix.
You need to download Odin and any gingerbread or froyo rom you please, and flash with Odin, would you like me to explain how??

Bump due to that my phone isn't fixed yet.
HELP!!
OK: Go to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1102881#14273114
Download Odin, pick a stock firmware for your region (for now try to match it to froyo 2.2 (or 2.2.1) or GB 2.3.3 (or 2.3.4).
Follow the guides on the linked thread, reflash (I'd try without repartitioning to start), test.
follow up with any questions or problems once you look and try the stuff linked.

FUUUUUUU
I thought there might a reason why that particular instruction was removed from all the threads. Dang it.
Is there any advantage to running CM7 on the GB bootloader? Or should I just leave my phone as it is?

What is the advantage of Gingerbread bootloaders?
Better battery life for most users.
I would definitely recommend upgrading to Gingerbread bootloaders on CM7. There was a noitceable improvement for me.

Thanks again. Just one more question: how to flash? I have a first GB 2.3.4 for CDMA (ported from GB Sprint, I believe so) flashed with Heimdall but there is no correct CWR installed. Should I install Galaxy Cubed 3 or similar ROM first? Or how to install this ROM using Heimdall? Sorry but I can't find the answer on the forum mentioned above....
I've asked some people about how to flash this with no help. And as you can see no one really cares to much about the VZW SGT, well the SCH-I800 anyways. Rite now i'm happy with just having root.

Hi, I have a rooted galaxy tab. I recently just installed a custom rom and after, it doesn't boot anymore? It only stucks at the boot screen. May I know what's the issue here? Is it a brick or something? Any helps appreciated. Tks!
it sounds like a soft brick, which isn't too bad at all Just switch your tab over to Download Mode and then flash another ROM that is confirmed working on your device.
A hard brick would be if your tab didn't power on in any way at all no matter what, and that would be pretty bad :/
Hi, tks for ur reply! Do u mind telling me where to download those roms? Tks once again!

Hi! I managed to get my rom on samfirmware.com and even flashed it via odin. But one thing, it managed to go the boot screen but then it doesn't move at the "samsung" glowing screen after that. Did I do anything wrong?
Your best bet will be to restock according to Overcome method.

You may have a corrupted /dbdata. If that's true, no matter how many new ROMs or firmwares you install, it won't help you.
This should take care of your problem:

Hi! Tks for your advice. I just read through the restocking steps on the teamovercome.net. But I've got a question. Is it compulsory to actually install the overcome kernel and rom?

I installed overcome kernel with many other rom before moving to redpill (because of bluetooth keyboard compatibility). It works great with most of rom 2.3.3 and 2.3.6 base. Don't hesitate to try the kernel with other rom.
Btw, did you try pushing new pit file through odin?
