Hey. Just wanted to know what would the best rom for the p970?? Like with easy to install, easy to use, looks good, is fast and fun I guess. So please write down what you would recommend....
Hard to say. I think must be based on stock. Zeus the best for me. But sometimes I think about stock v10a from my provider.

ok, ill zeus a try
cheers
Zeus is Beast. Best. Stable. Fast. Awesome..

zeus is almost perfect, but i get out it. The most stresful thing is 2 seconds break on the call. Everything was perfect besides that. now i am using joyos but battery life is not satisfying. I want to get cici os. i think it'll be perfect
Sent from my LGE-P970 using Tapatalk 2
Zeus it's really nice! give a try
I'm using CICI v1.52 and I love it, just some small bugs but really nice
Zeus good but i dont like org zeus theme
i think Zeus is one of the best. theming is very Personal so i understand Why Zeus doesn't waist time on theming.. theming you can do yourself. cici looks good But is based on cm7, and cm7 isn't stable. it stil has bugs. try search... this question is asked many times.

Check md5 sum
What exactly the step that you did when flashing it?
Sent from my LG-P970 using Tapatalk
how do i check that?
and it says
"Do a 'wipe data/factory reset'.
- Flash the ROM v6.2 with option: Install zip from SDCARD.
- Flash the update v6.28 with option: Install zip from SDCARD."

Ok try this steps.
1ownload gingerDX v13 and put it in the root of your sd card.
2:Rename it to update.zip normaly you dont have to add the .zip caue the file is already zip so you just name it update.
3:Before installing it make a FULL WIPE.
4:Install The update.zip gingerDX v13.
5:AGAIN MAKE A FULL WIPE THEN REBOOT YOUR PHONE !
6:Allow it up to 5-10 minites to boot.
Try this steps i made and tell me how it went.
Also make sure that your phone is baseband 015.
Settings->About phone->Baseband version->M76XX-TSNCJOLYM-53404015. If you have not this baseband, read this thread about basebands.

I dont know really what it can be, but maybe you got wrong xrecovery you should install v.0.1 for x8!?
Try reinstall your stock android from SE do full wipe, clean dalvik cache, than root your phone again, but after rooting your phone restart it and check it. Than start xrecovery do full wipe and clean dalvik cache and try to install ginger again......let us know what you have solved

Are you really giving the phone enough time to boot? The first boot always takes a bit of time..
Also, format your sd card and install gdx only with the zip file in it then try to boot without the sd card.

Do a clean install... go to cwm, wipe data and cache, format system from "mounts and storage", wipe dalvik cache in "advanced", install rom, wipe data and cache again, and reboot.
okay. I'll do it. I need a rooted phone? Or a specific base rom?
Sent from my GT-S5570 using XDA App
You had gingerbread before flashing anything, right?
Yeah. When i'd buy my phone. Now i'm using MIUI ics but i'll to use cm9 cuz cm9 is root

Every custom rom is rooted...
But my MIUI ics denied all root acces :s Anyway. So i can use any base rom ?

Édit : i'd try with ur advice but that doens't work. I'll try with the stockrom. I've sait 5 minutes then ive pull out the battery and try again. What is the necesarry to flash the rom?
Tbh, I have absolutely no idea what might be cause of your problem... I personally never had such problems, when something didn't work I was just doing clean install and that was it, I was changing roms like my underwear
Why i'm the only one who got some troubles? I'il go back to my stock rom gingerbread 2.3.6 and try again nobody could help me? Maybe i need to wait more time to let my phone boot.
I wan't to flash the symbiosis kernel because I heard that it is very fast and has good battery life. And there is Gueste OC witch lets you to overclock the phone. My question is......can I add profiles? like in setcpu?
yes u can of course..

I use the recommended and works great!
With OC up to 1.45, and battery life more than great.

You can always go back to you original kernel by just reflashing the ROM again. Just reflash the ROM without wiping anything.
Also before flashing the kernel it is better if you wipe the Cache Partition & Dalvik Cache.
I have atomicmod rom installed, which is very good.
Because i wanted to experiment with cpu speed and undervolting i found this thread and installed symbiosis kernel.
It worked fine, only after a few hours i discovered that suddenly my sd card was not visable.
Weirdest thing, when i take out the sd card the message pops up that it is missing, when i push it back in, nothing happens.
Without sd card no way to flash a rom anymore, so what now??
I'll try to reboot all the time but no luck so far.
Anyone else have problems with sd card after installing symbiosis kernel?
edit: problem solved.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Atomicmod based on stock GB?
If so, you shouldn't have flashed Symbiosis, as it's only for CM7 based roms.
Try booting into recovery and reflashing Atomicmod or a custom kernel for stock based roms.

multi boot on a phone -_- its not like u gonna install windows ?
whats the point of multi boot on an android phone ? its an open source os and u can do anything with a little knowledge. u will boot to another rom to use hardware keys on screen ? halo ? tablet dpi ? and then u will reboot to the other rom to just use it with less features ? is that useless or not ? u can do anything to any rom. Also u can install probam thats 3 roms in one. the idea of dual boot is totally useless and u will hardly find someone to help.
Dual boot is most useful test flash many ROMs. Primary ROM (stable) + Secondary (Test all ROMs out there) = :victory:

pfff relax ... even if a rom is not stable , the worst case scenario is a double battery drain and a few homescreen 1sec crashes. nobody will make a public rom that will do some serious damage.
