Dear all,
I am concerning my 'backward' light at the bottom of the device doesn't turn on in cwm recovery and the initial startup. (only the menu light turns on )
Yet it does when the system has started and loaded
Can someone fix this issue and I am a newbie using Ics stunner 1.4.19

My Problems on each ICS Rom
-I cant type in my PIN(emergency call only)
-hold powerbutton for 0.5-1 second shut down phone whithout menu
-Hombutton whithout function (only Team Rocket Rom)
-no Lockscreen(only Blackscreen but deep sleep)
Everytime do a fullwipe before or after or both..
Edit: The IMEI show in phone is not the IMEI i really have. (IMEI in phone: 004999010640000)

Have you tried not doing a full wipe before you flash and just after?
I had trouble getting rocket 1.1 to flash and run proberly, but in the end i flashed abbys kernal rebooted to recovery mode which booted in to a red version of CWM and installed ics zip.
Installed fine and works fine now.
It was the missing imei that causes the problems unbelievable

I'm currently using Marvelv9_GB234v20o_by_tantrums.zip , loaded here.
I use it now since 3 days, and wanted to create an nandroid backup. But after booting in recovery mode, it was just impossible to navigate through options.
when using volume button, it works just once. after that, selected item in the menu will not move anymore. After 1 second, screen is reloaded and selected item menu is the first one ( reboot ).
An other time , phone reboots without using power button to validate my menu option...
On the other hand, using the phone with this rom is a treat :victory: : no bugs, and no lags.
but if somebody have an advice about this problem, it would be nice
[edit] Solved for me : I have reinstalled clockworkmod v5.0.0.0 with success.
[edit2] .. mmm, the bug is coming from me : CWM from marvel is a touch Screen application..

Hello, I have a problem with my Galaxy Note and I don't know what to do.
A few hours ago I tried to start the device as I usually do after I turn it off, but the device does not turn on and only stays stuck on this screen: "Samsung galaxy note n7000".
I'm running this Rom: "[ROM][4.1.2 JB]Ultimate N7000 XXLSC JellyBean 4.1.2 v5.1".
I have the ability to log into CWM by the combination of the known keys
I hope you guys can help me, thanks in advance.
(Note: The battery is charged and i also tried to remove it and put it back in.)
This problem happened to me before with the xxlsa leaked rom
Do a wipe from a safe kernel and flash the rom again
Try to boot into recovery and do a reboot recovery and then reboot.
Else you may do a backup and restore the same backup. It works most of the time. But a little time consuming.
Had same problem by loosing power. The device wont boot anymore. Fix per, reinstall without wipe did not work. Switch rom
i believe this problem comes to all jelly bean leak always Stuck on the first boot.
just got this problem again how i did it ？press power on Stuck on first boot next step straight away press 3 button go to recovery n hit reboot system n my phone bootup n back to normal.

How can i replace the kernel and reinstall the rom if I cannot see the device on my computer when it's connected?

I've already tried both methods you have specified and none of them worked.
My attempt to make a Nandroid backup has failed and the CWM said something like "backup of /data failed".

Hi, this is not the first time I try to boot the device after installing a new rom.
I'm with this rom for a few weeks now and the problem occurred only yesterday.
This is well known problem with xlsc rom. U have to wipe everything and to flash rom. There are some solutions with backup/restore but they didn't work for me.
So, complete WIPE, and than flash!!
Backup of data failed because of insufficient space. Make backup to internal if there is more space.
i have the same problem since i full wipe and flashed asylums 20130302 build. after doing a full wipe and clean install, i started downloading my regular apps from playstore and suddenly it turned off just like when you remove the battery.
i tried the following::
1. full wipe and installed the rom -- it boots up few minutes then shuts off and wont boot up without charger
2. restored from nandroid -- same as above
3. full wipe and installed previous builds -- same
4. full wipe + flashed latest build 20130303 + latest gaps for JB 4.2 -- same
5. check battery stat -- ok
whenever it shuts off, it wont turn back on unless without a charger. it just shuts off at random. this is the second day I'm experiencing it and its frustrating.
any help? thanks

In the other thread where you asked this question too there are members who replaced their battery and solved it this way.
Maybe you should try this and replace the battery.

I am writing because I have a serious problem with the display of colors by phone lg optimus 4x hd.
The problem is that the screen does not have a fully color. Lights very dark purple color.
The screen certainly is efficient because when you turn your phone on for the first 5 seconds LG logo is displayed complete correctly and then displaying the color goes in the form described above.
The problem began with a download applications TWRP Manager (root) and pressing random model P990 instead of P880.
I tried to fool the problem by installing a new CM 11 and set the color corrections on the phone and it worked but when the phone restarts it lg animation and recovery is still dark and purple and when I returned to that of the original system again, everything was dark and purple.
When installing a new CM 11 chose all possible formats and wipes that were available in CWM 6.0.4.5. If necessary I can post pictures and record video.
Please help coped with a lot of things but this exceeds my knowledge of advanced management android.
I apologize for possible errors in the spelling of English.

If i am not wrong in CM 11 you have option to calibrate screen colors ? Did you tryed that ? Or install again TWRP and set now P880 ?

That's only for after boot. He's talking about pre boot when the lg logo shows up

Download that, flash CWM for p880
Wipe system, data, cache and make a fresh CM11 installation.
If the above steps doesn't solve the issue, use LG mobile support tool to return to stock, then root and flash a custom recovery.

HELLO GUYS i am in a big trouble about 3 days from now
My GT-I9305 had AMCHA ROM V4.00 recently i tried to upgrade toAMCHA ROM V6.10 i had philz recovery
So i wiped data cleared cache and after CLEAN FOR NEW ROM option to be sure
After successfull installation my phone booted normally
But the BIG ISSUE After screen timeout or lock button screen turned to black forever but it made responsive sound when i touched the screen for sliding or clicking
So i tried again and again with other choices at Aroma installer to find another combination with no success
Then i tried to install with the same way and recovery 'philz" Ressurection Rom and i saw that i have a colour glitch at white colour only at boot and app logo not at pics or anything else
And finally i tried S6 rom and it make another reversed mirrored screen.So i tried to recover by kies and
now i have knox too with reversed screen and glitch
Any solution or a part of it will be helpfull thanks for your timeDEKNOX DONE NOW I AM ROOTED WITH CWM USED CFROOT WITH ODIN AND TITANIUM
