Just flashed the BrokenOut Rom 1.1 and just was wondering what is the best way to enhance this rom. Is there anything out there yet or is it to early?

i flashed blitz 3.0 last night but I wasn't sure if the v6 supercharger would be ok with this new rom
Thunderbolt seems to work very well also. Check that one out of you haven't yet!
is the thunderbolt a kernel or supercharger? and do u have a thread for this?

Flashing instructions. You are required to be running a Gingerbread rom. You are required to do a factory wipe/reset before hand (failure to do so will result in a bootloop!!!) Yes Simply Anti-Noob script is in place but doing an intial non-wipe install is not optional if you want a working phone. The script will come into play when flashing themes and what have you.

EB does GPS work or is it still broken because of Talon Kernel? Does this have the new Talon kernel Simone was talking about today? Is Simone working on a JVS 2.35 kernel now? Screenshots please. Thank you for releasing untouched stock JVS rom!
GPS still not working as far as i can tell. You can try the bullet kernels but obviously there will be trade offs. As soon as i have a kernel with working gps i of course will post it.

Is Simone working on inserting the GPS hack from Bullet kernel in to the Talon kernel? I am just glad that you guys are keeping the Vibrant current and alive since I find no reasons to upgrade to a dual core anytime soon.

Does this overwrite only system files or also your simply honey theme? I'd hate to lose themeing but seeing as this is not in the Simply Honey thread I thought I'd check..thanks EB.

This overwrites everything and is not themed at all. Pure stock.
Edit; sorry misspoke there. If on Simply Honey this will not wipe data. So simply users can give this a go for a day and come back to Simply with no headaches (theoretically anyway).

How to flash if already using the talon kernel. It doesnt flash because if amend script. I did flash back the bullet kernel than flashed this Rom. Still can't figure out how to flash from the talon blue recovery

This is stock GB so it looks exactly like stock GB.
Just flashed Mt's new Broken out rom, it's amazing by the way, however i was a little sad that there was no custom kernal to go with it. Does blitzkrieg kernal work on zv8 and it was just left out because some people didn't like it, or is there a new compatible kernal in the works?

I had a hard time getting root and was on the stock v8 for a day. Was on MT's roms so long I forgot what a complete dog the stock rom was. Finally got everything worked out and on Broken out and it is like a completely different phone!
Has anyone done an OC kernel for version 20c yet? Looking for a dev to make one to test if they would be so kind. I think this from is the best so far for my phone.

Bestiaginger kernel works for rooted 20c from rogers no issues and still great battery I have not had a rom work like this and I've tried all the rooms in the lg 3d forum.
So if you wanna go faster and smoother try this kernel. And I've also used v6 supercharger and kernelizer. This has been the best the phone has ever worked. So well that there is no lag and good mem usage now too since putting in the Bestiaginger kernal.

Best rom for thrill.....I dl the CyanogenMod 7.2 v1.3.1 p295 but didn't work on baseband stock 20p....so asking best rom for 20p ...better battery life and like ics....

Flash the P920 version. This is the only version that works with a Gingerbread baseband.
I use acidhazard for me its the best the whole phone works not just bits n pieces

So you can flash that rom no problem? I've read on it some in the O3D forum and it looks great, but wasn't sure if it would work well with the p925 and v20p

if you flash the plus rom and kernel you should be fine but the non plus will render your phone useless without a signal

Have used every p925 and 920 rom there is on this site. Acidhazard 4 is the best one hands down. Acura roms are damn fine also. Cyanogen has been a dissapointment for the gb baseband so far but i will give em a few more chances to get it right. Have had a few kernel issues with 1300 but 1188 is 99% stable. Most issues happen during charging for some reason.

do you like CM7? cuz i did like it at all. i couldnt set up my emails and i get the play store anywhere which sucked. but i wanna flash a new rom cuz i cant go back to the updated stock rom. so i have to settle for something else

Its not a bad phone. Its a bit quirky but really fast and comfortable.
I liked cm7 for the froyo version but it pretty much sucks for the gb. But most of the roms available are pretty stable. Acidhazard is very stable. Most kernels are screwed but I'm using thrill seeker 3.1 and its at 1300. Seems good so far. Haven't had a l typo yet.

I've been using this one, he has 4 to choose from in there. I like the extreme low voltage one, my thrill is overclocked to 1300, gets pretty good quadrant scores and decent download speeds and also improved battery life

I use Prometheus rom and kernel. It is v21e and your phone will think it is an 920 instead of 925. But it has worked great for me in US with at&t on my thrill with v20p baseband.

Pretty much anything that has been developed for the P925 and the P920 has been very well compiled and has worked wonders for our devices. Use what works best for you!

Yes im on V20p baseband. Just do your wipes then flash 1.4 v21e rom let boot then reboot and go into recovery and flash 1.4 + kernel.

Promethius Kernel V1.5.3
Hi....., Right now i am using new kernel Promethius Kernel V1.5.3 21E version on my Thrill with V20p. The kernel working perfect and not lag at all. Go ahead Backup and flash it......
Yeah I've been using the Prometheus v20e 1.4+ on v20p thrill for a little over a week now. Good to hear the 1.5 is working well, I'll give that a shot this week
