Radio for Nik Aura Rebirth ICS Rom - HTC Incredible S

Was wondering what would the best radio for an ICS 4 ROM be?. I am currently running the stock radio that came with the rom. Haven't had any issues with call quality till now though.

Rom: Nik Aura Rebirth V3

Check my signature. That or else, the radio ending in .29M is the best.

I'm using Tiamat on my phone as well.
For 2.3 GB, I found the best kernel was enki v0. For 4.0, the recently released tiamat kernel is the best. At least IMO
I didn't really have too much difference between enki and tiamat. But I stuck with tiamat due to the increase in call hearing as before is sounded too dull

Smartass v2 never worked on my phone with tiamet - I could never receive phone calls when using it. I switched to Lord Clockan's and I'm getting better battery life, and it works properly.
As I understand it, there's no 'best' kernel. It all depends on your phone, ROM and usage. It's best just to try them all out and see.
Is it possible to flash every kernel on any roms?

No, some are ROM specific, for example will only work with Sense ROMs.

I'm using the exact same config as you OP (Unity X10 I'm assuming, with ICD HD theme). While I'm here, is there any better kernels anyone suggests for Virtuous Affinity? I've been having some touch screen response issues (where a long press sometimes doesn't register which can be quite annoying typing).
Haven't had any issues with the lockscreen though.
revolution
I'm using this rom. Plus UltraSmoothRosie . I've disabled about 30% of all system apks also (facebook, twitter, genie, HTC likes and etc.).
No problems, stable, very fast. A lot of RAM + CPU 1.2 ghz. Battery is 50% to the end of the day (i don't know how you should use this rom to drain all battery in one day. ).
I suddenly wanted to try Nik's ROM with 3.5 sense... Maybe I should give it a try.

it would be great, if there is a rom (ICS Theme) with Sense! Sense is (in my mind) the most important. (Facebook Contact Sync etc.)
Im using IceColdSandwich 5.1 with the shipped CM9 Kernel, havent touched the radio once tho.
Working nice except the softkey backlight seems to come and go as it pleases.
Rom: MIUI
Kernel: Stock (for some reason its more responsive than custom kernels)

I love how easy it is to customize MIUI

[Q] Which ROM ?

I had a Desire Z with Cyanogenmod 7 , now I got a Incredible S and tried CM7 with it and its very choppy and my camera doesn't work , so I'm wondering is there a CM9 for Incredible S ? Or which ROM would you suggest for it ?
Try roms from Nik (sense 3.5) or mike1986 (sense 3.0). I tried both and my choice is 3.0. but both is stable, fast and etc.

problem with my incredible S ICS

hello .....
i think there is a problem with my phone ,,,every ICS rom i installed ,the WIFI and the GPS does not work ,first I thought it was a rom issue but i tried them all ,, and the same problem ,,,its related to the radio version ??,,,if its please tell me what radio is recommended and how to change it ...
thanks
I'm using IceColdSandwich 5.5 and there is no problem.
Aktually i've installed the radio 20.4802.30.0822P_3822.10.08.28_M.
This version i've already installed with the Virtuous Affinity rom (Gingerbread 2.3.5).
Try this radio, it works fine.
Regards, Andreas
i have never installed a separate radio as such. whichever radio came with the ROM is what I have used. and it has worked well (wiht some glitches)
glitchy radios - drops 3G network sometimes and doesnt get it back unless you reboot or switch airplane mode on and off.
virtuous unity (GB)
virtuous affinity (GB)
icecoldsandwich 5.5 (ICS)
icscoldsandwich 6.1.1 (ICS)
good radio:
virtuous quattro rc3 (ICS)

[Q] Most stable ROM

Hi everyone,
What is the most stable ROM for the Vivid as of now. I was on the most recent (downloaded from another source that was more updated) DeSensed Vivid 4.0.3 with a Kozmik kernel, but have had problems with lag and etc.
It's important that the ROM has good call volume that is close to that of the stock.
Thanks for helping
