question about landscape mode....

so i have qestion...is posible to make the screen in landscape mode like it is when openin to type with the qwerty keyboard...but i wanna now if i can make the screen in landscape without opening the phone sideways....by the way have a xperia x1...thnx to all....

on short notice I would say quick menu
or it's updated/altered version
or search, always a good friend...

otherwise one can do it from
settings->screen

another option is to map it to a button:
start - settings - personal - buttons -> select a button and assign program <Rotate Screen>

yes i see this and its a good idea...but how can make it for example in the xpanel buton...beacuse now i can do that only on the left and right softkey....???

I tried to add in under buttons but it didn't work...maybe someone else knows how to add a button there, would be interested to know...

you must set it in settings tnx (solved own question...)

It opens the keyboard but may have no effect. Try the search button instead.

[Q] Change Hardware Button Function & Add 3-Dott Menu Button

Hello!
I've recently installed the AOKP ROM!
Now, I want to change my hardware-buttons behavior to:
"Menu"-button activates the "recent-apps"/"multitasking".
Get the "3-dot" button in the right corner.
Now there's a temporarily way to get the "3-dot" button. Activate "Navigation Bar", then deactivate it. But the "3-dot" button dissapers when I reboot the phone!
So do you guys/gals have any solution? I've googled it the whole afternoon without any results!

Are there any mods/apps for ICS that I can use to change the application launched instead of voice talk when I double clicked the home button?

Dont know if this what you wanted... but anyways:
There are two techniques:
1. From Homescreen> Settings > Applications > Go down to "double tap home lanch"> Choose to disable or pick another option of your choice.
So, its the same when it comes to : Settings | Motion | uncheck "Double Tap".
2. Suppose you are have Vlingo Voice service then go for this:
a goto Vlingo home screen (Voice talk screen)
b Press menu button
c Turn OFF Settings->Voice Talk Settings->Speak Prompts

This will do the trick for ya!! Install the app and you can set the double tap to open any app you like. I personally have it set to S voice from the GS3!

Since were talking home buttons, im looking for a mod to completely disable the doubletap, like in aosp roms so when pressing it it directly goes to the homescreen without any delay. been searching for a while and the only thing i could find was a way to modify the framework but my android skills are not good enough to get it done
If someone had this mod for LPY would you be so kind to share it plz.

[Q] Bottom left button default action

Recently I flash the rom of my Xiaomi Mi3 with the new unstable dev rom (miui 6).
Since this day, with an opened application, when I press the bottom left button action, it is no longer the "settings" menu of this application whis is opening but the "clean cache" operation.
In the "settings > buttons" I have 3 buttons to configure.
- recents
- home
- back
I imagine the "recents" is the one I am talking about in this thread. By the way, only those actions are allowed :
- None
- Launch Assistant
- Launch Google now
- Close current app
- show menu
But it is now the long press action button and no more the short one ... is there a way to restore the MIUI 5 default action ?
