Hello people, I was looking for some custom roms and i find htc sense 3.5 and i really like how it looks like so I want to know does it exist that custom rom for x8 too??
There is no fully ported Sense ROM for the X8. Our phone can't handle it. You can only theme your ROM like that and install Sense themed apps.

it is not based on sense but htc's other ui.
U can use pro launcher or go launcher with a sense theme too...actually it will not look exactly like sense....
But i believe that someone can port a lower version of SENSE UI to x8

Because there isn't any "lite" version of Sense. Devs have tried and eventually just forgot about it. Our phone just can't handle it.
Htc explorer has exactly the same specs. with x8 exept RAM...(512) and it uses sense UI 3.5
So litening it for x8 must not be something that hard

No their not! Check out the development section and u'll see a load of ROMs without sense on there. One of the best, Android Revolution, comes with and without sense.

The latest CM7 Nightlys don't have many bugs, if you notice them at all, and its Android 2.3.7.

Is it 2.3.7 yet? I don't see anything about this in the changelog.
Edit: You're right - just checked the version on my phone! That one slipped by me...

I'm using Nightly 103 for CM7 and it working great for me. ADW is the default launcher.

sorry dude im not a beginner... about custom kernel I cant unlock my bt... so I cant installed rom which using custom kernel...

no way even on 2.2 and 2.3, you can install it but never get it work because of the hardware limitation
you need ARMV7 CPU to make it work and the X8 is an ARMV6 phone

But who installs flash on their X8 to look at animations or whatever? As long as it plays videos on the browser and iplayer I'm cool.

Hello everybody! I know the current android version is ICS. But , many people might stay in GB , mostly ARC users as there might be issues for many people.
So , i have made this ROM for all those who have chosen to stay in GB and like the new Xperia S software.
This Software has everything from the Xperia NXT series except for Lockscreen,Camera,Connectivity settings (isnt themed).
I have made this ROM based on a HDPI theme , to make it look like an original software unlike my Xperia S theme that had XHDPI statusbar icons.
It has no extra mods,themes,etc. The model number is 'LT35i' , to make it feel like an Xperia Arc HD. ^^ But it is very fluid and fast. Battery life is great.
And most importantly,i hope all of u would like my ROM as im new to developing. Please give me a thanks if u like this ROM. And also give me feedbacks on improving the ROM.
Installation:
1) Enter CWM.
2) Wipe data/factory reset.
3) install zip from sdcard.
4) select XperiaArcHD.zip
5) Reboot and ENJOY!

It is based on the original build,2.3.4. But I changed the build.prop to make it look exactly like 2.3.7
For screenshots,i'll be posting them on Wednesday. U can use baseband -56 for,kernel,any kernel that's made for stock GB will do.
is it good for gaming like temple run or gta 3 ?

Best Xperia NXT ROM imo, others deviated from the purpose of making an NXT UI to adding their own tweaks like ugly battery mods and status bars, this one didnt. ;D
A few toggles in the next update WITHOUT any battery mods would look great.
And how about a patch for ARC S ?

Games run very well especially on DooMKerneL.
Some HD games like Mass Effect and Asphalt 6 are lagging on this ROM. :/
Currently working on the screenshots.
Well, mass effect is a great ram eater. Some parts of the game lags alot, and only smoothen out by using chainfire 3d

It was smooth as hell on Arconium 8.2. But overall , this ROM is faster.

The patch isn't really needed u can change it in build prop yourself

U basically need to root the rom again after u flashed it. I experienced this problem at first and re-rooting it using zergrush helps..
