[Q] Whether Rocket Rom V6 - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi Friends, I am at present on ICS Kingdroid V.2.0+S3 addon+Speedmod#3.3. Doing Fine. I am a normal user, do not know when extra functions I may use. I would like to flash now-either ICS Rocket Rom or Kingdroid3.0. I know every Rom got its own features, advantages, plus and minuses. Hence I seek your suggestions (further I am little nerveous while switching over roms). Thanks.

I have tried RockeRom V4.1, 5, 6 and Kingdroid rom v2, v2.1, v3. For my note I got about the same performance and battery life for all these version. I got the most performance from franco kernel r5.

I have tried RockeRom v 5, 6 and Kingdroid rom v3
Kingdroid is not stable and not battry life
Rocketrom is stable and battry life with the original kernel
I use now Rocketrom v6 with original TW and SIII launcher fast and stable.

[q] checkrom notehd [ics]

So i love my CHECKROM NoteHD V6 on my GB galaxy Note n7000 i would like to know when we can expect a Detoxed Custom Rom from the CHECKROM team for ICS 4.0.3 or 4.0.4 on the LPF FW or newer. i went to STOCK ICS and i missed my CHECKROM CUSTOM ROM so MUCH that i then downgraded my Galaxy Note back to GB 2.3.6 and i will be happy with GB until CHECKROM makes an ICS ROM because i have seen other rom's and theres are my favorite.
Please keep this Thread ALIVE .. hopefully the CHECKROM Team will notice This.

[Q] Right-To-Left in new stock roms?

Hello,
I am Israeli, and therefore need support for right-to-left text in my galaxy ace.
I want to upgrade to a stock-based rom (maybe even just stock) as i heard the new ones have better performance and battery life.
Currently I am using Stocklite v6, and I am considering upgrading to v7.1 or the stock S5830XWKTM. (I believe StockLite v7.1 is based on S5830XWKTQ, which is also relatively new).
I have seen guides that use odin and several patches to add right-to-left support to older roms (like the one stocklite v6 is based on) and they worked. I have not seen evidence of them working on the newer ones, and am afraid to brick my ace.
Has anyone done this? Is there a guide for the new roms?
Thanks!

Saurom Project or Amestris DarkCyan V12

Hello friends!
I have been on GamerzROM v11 for a long time. I have tried various ICS & JB Roms but eventually keep going back to GamerzROM based on GB but as the development has been stopped in this ROM, I was planning to shift to some other good GB ROM. I sorted out two and am not able to decide which is better.
Please help me in choosing between Saurom Project or Amestris DarkCyan V12 in terms of performance, stability and battery usage.
Thank you.
i think Saurom is the best...see the Sauroms hreads.

the best rom??

[sorry for my english]
I wanted to know what is the best rom of the moment?
I do not do difference between GB, ICS, JB..!
I only need these requirements:
-stable
-fluid
-good battery drain
-Italian language
What do you recommend?
[currently i use IZS 1.1]
I use Mackay Rom/Kernel (JB-4.2.2)
Others Custom Roms for OB
- CyanogenMod 10.1 (4.2.2)
or 10.0 (4.2.1)-stable
- PACman Rom (4.2.2)
- AvatarRom (4.2.2)
- JellyBam (4.2.2)
- Marvel V.11 (ICS)
- IZS 1.1 (ICS)
I only use Mackay Rom/Kernel which seems the best rom JB 4.2.2 for LG-P970.
No stable 4.2.2 Roms.
Envoyé depuis mon LG-P970
JB is not stable.
The only really stable roms i can advise are:
Stock ICS or GB.
Or a modded version of GB / ICS Like IZS you are using at the moment or Zeus. But there are plenty other custom roms based on gb/ics you might like.
Read the threads, if there is a rom that looks promising, just give it a try.

I'd say stock Gingerbread.
- ICS-based roms usually have a high battery drain (the best for me are IZS and stock ICS if you modify it);
- JB-based roms too (Mackay rom), but better than ICS-roms.
- But Gingerbread-based roms, they definitely, have the best battery drain, and the camera works better.
About your other requirements, I think that any of them could meet them.
