[Q] Bionic Gsm 900Mhz Baseband? - Motorola Droid Bionic

Hey guys.
I want to order a Bionic, and unlock it for my gsm carier in Serbia.
Here the base band is 900Mhz. Will the soft hack enable this baseband frequency or it can only work on cdma 800/1900 dual band frequency.
Does anyone have any experiance using a Bionic on 900Mhz Gsm network?

Question about GSM Bands in Europe

I have a quick question regarding GSM bands.
I'm using the Bell i9000M (on 850/1900 band) right now, and planning on unlocking my phone and taking it to Spain for a vacation.
In Spain the GSM band they use is 900/1800. I know my phone is compatible with GSM 850/900/1800/1900 and HSDPA 900/1900/2100. Will my phone search for those bands and switch automatically when I put in a SIM card from Spain? Or is there something that I need to configure within the phone?
Thanks!

[Q] A853 Telus Milestone in Australia (NextG)?

Hi,
Can anyone confirm that the Telus Milestone works properly on the Telstra NextG network?
My replacement phone just arrived from Expansys and instead of sending my original UK Milestone back they sent me a sealed Telus one.
There is so much conflicting information regarding the Telus Frequencies so I need your help.
I need to confirm'
1. The Telus Milestone is quadband GSM
2. The 3G Frequencies 850/1900 will work on Telstra's NextG Network or Vodafone's new 850MHz Network.
Here's your answer to the frequencies I believe: http://www.digitalhome.ca/forum/showthread.php?t=116420
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Motorola_Droid
"US Version: dual band CDMA2000/EV-DO Rev. A 800/1900 MHz
European version quad band GSM, UMTS @ 900/2100MHz
N.A. GSM version quad band GSM, UMTS @ 850/1900 MHz"
Both Telus and Latin America (not Mexico) Milestones have 3G over 850/1900/2100 MHz frequencies. You probably will need to manually enter the APN settings for your provider if you will use Tellus stock rom. If you provider uses 900MHz for its 3G network, then it will not work.

[Q] HD7 doesn't has 3G connection due to different frequencies???

Hi, I got a new HD7 which is unlocked version from italy, now I'm in US using ATT, but it doesn't has 3G connection, only edge connection which is a big "E" sign.
I checked the italy HTC site that the frequecy is following:
HSPA/WCDMA: 900/2100 MHz
GSM: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz
and for ATT HD7S, frequency is :
UMTS 1900/850
GSM/GPRS/AT&T 850/900/1800/1900MHz
So how can I get 3G on ATT?
is it possible to flash ATT's rom on my phone to enable 3G in US?
or it is hardware limitation?
Thanks in advanced.
No, it is not possible to enable 3g on your phone.
3G is HSPA/WCDMA: 900/2100 MHz in Europe and UMTS 1900/850 in the US.
So you you have device for europe only.
T-Mobile uses 1700mhz for 3G, which AT&T doesn't support.

[Q] SU660 3G Band frequency?

What are the bands for HSDPA "3G" on the SU660?
I read somewhere that the bands where 900/2100 so that's why I bought it, Orange DO uses the 900Mhz band frequency for 3g connectivity but I only get EDGE with 420 baseband and with latest v30c (1119 I think, the one that comes with stock ICS) I only get G... GPRS...
