Cant flash S5830i with Odin

Hi please help me to flash S5830i with Odin 1.85.
I get error on the start,i try to flash this firmware:
S5830iZCLA4_S5830iCHNLA4_S5830iZCLA4_HOME.tar.md5
tnx br Roni

It's a one package file
Please use the normal ODIN to flash that

Read my post carefully

One of those file might be corrupted. Try other firmware first, if it succeed then it might be corrupted

Even i m getting the same problem.. I used Odin 1.7 It Loaded up to System.img..50%... and then suddenly failed.. I dont know what happend...
Samsung guys slowly screwing the box.. :-(

Odin for GT-S5830 no need a *.pit but an *.ops file. Not sure about GT-S5830i.

So another thread about s5830i...You need Odin 1.85 and a version of Firmware for YOUR country...or just find PDA.tar in google and flash it

i got a rom in chinese and can work with odin 1.85
i cant post link here, It's stock rom for HongKong S5830iZSLA3

Use odin 1.85. the official s5830i odin may not even detect the phone in download mode. open odin 1.85
select pda
modem and csc and ignore boot
phone will flash ok. use jig to enter download mode if combination not work.

I think u should try Odin 1.84 with pit file

the problem with this phone is that odin can't flash it with onepackage file
you have to split the rom to 3 files flashabl with odin

i got Samsung Galaxy Note N7000
Baseband N7000XXLR but sometimes unknown
Kernel Version 3.0.15 Hydra Core V7
BUILD Number : IMM76D.XXLRQ
Running on 4.0.4 ICS
Boots takes too long in "samsung Galaxy Note n7000" and the "Samsung" it takes 10-15mins
my main problem is , that Baseband is unknown, Media/Video Player, Camera, Phone Contacts, Phone are not responding .
and in home always says "Process System is not responding"
the keyboard is not responding too, i cant even access aboutphone>Status .
and it keeps restarting,
what should i do?

Are you rooted ? If so, Make a backup of your apps with titanium backup, then, providing your on a safe kernel, Boot into recovery and do a factory reset.
If you are not on a safe kernel, then download one and flash it, Philz kernel can be flashed in stock recovery, Hydracore can be flashed via odin, the choice is yours.
Let me know if the issues persist after the reset.

Yes, where can i download titanium?, im using hydracore v7, how can i flashed it in stock ?

its really difficult to answer when you make 3 thread with the same issue. by the way as per previous thread, have you flashed a new firmware using Odin???

Did you download the firmware from the above thread?.. if yes unzip it and you will get a tar.md5 file. also go to philz thread and download a kernel that is same as the rom you downloaded. put the kernel in the external SD keep the rom file on PC.
now boot into download mode. ( vol dwm + pwr + home till you see N7000 logo and release). you will enter a screen asking for vol up to confirm,. press vol up
open odin on pc and connect the phone to it. the box on the left will show yellow. click on the PDA tab and navigate to the rom file. dont tick anything else other than default what is there, press start and wait for it to finish. phone will autoboot . now check if the phone is working fine or not. ... reply back for more TS

Titanium u can find on google play.
N as nokiamodel says first flash a philz kernel on yr phone .
Wipe all 3 major elements n the flash a stock samsung ics firmware of yr region via odin.
N mainly if u want yr phone in good condition stick onto 1 thread which u ve created.

which ROM did you flash? It seem you are still on the OLD rom.
Phil is a guy who makes safe stock kernels ( great) .. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1901191
when you flash the new rom check the BUILD Number eg: as you have now "IMM76D.XXLRQ" so download the LRQ kernel from his thread. If you flash a latest one then as per the eg above.

i tried to flash Rocket Rom together with Hydracore but it doesnt work so i flash ICS again in Pc Odin, and flash Hydracore OC,.
so i think i have the OLD rom?,

its the first time i saw it , baseband is ok now but later on unknown again.
i can see my IMEI and IMEISV,

now that the baseband unknown i can't access phone status again ,
i cant go to dial it goes to phone contacts, i cant type nor the keyboard show

also go to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1645202 and download the XXLR1 modem and place it on the internal SD. and install mobile odin.
open mobile odin and choose the modem.bin file you downloaded in modem section and flash it

i dont have mobile odin, i use cwm and Pc Odin.

you can use CWM to flash it as well.
Mobile odin is installed just as any other app, put on internal storage and install the apk

Help me, my galaxy note N7000 died...(Formware upgrade ancountered an issue.)

Hello everybody.
I have a problem in my gt-N7000.
I tried to install the CM10, install normal.
I installed Gapps also normal.
When I went to wipe it crashed.
Now no more enters recovery mode, download mode only.
When I turn it only gets in this mensage:
"Formware upgrade ancountered an issue. Pease select recovery mode in Kies & try again."
I've tried to pass other Stock Roms via Odim, but always hangs Odim.
I do not know what else to do, will my phone still has solution?

And have you tried that recovery mode in Kies?

Yes, but the Kies does not recognize and is carrying the cel.
I made a DESBRICK him, and now he is going into Recovery mode.

I'm downloading now the site of the kernel SamMobile'll try and pass via Odin.
If it does not work, post the error here ok?

I do not know if I can answer all your questions ... I did not root the phone.
I tried going through the kernel odin said that he caught up and in factoryms.img, as stated in the attached image.
Do not know if this is of great relevance but I can not give Wipe the recovery mode, it also crashes and resets the phone.

2. The place where odin is stuck could indicate a brick. So you need to be precise in the info you give.
3. Did you use cwm.zip to install the rom directly on a non rooted phone?

If ODIN is working for you,
Get your mobile flashed with Philz Kernel by putting the TAR file on PDA.
Enter Philz Kernel in recovery and flash a ROM of your choice.
If you can't then u r a superbrick.

I did what you said.
Enter the field arquivo.pit PIT odin and rom in PDA. I marked the re-partition option and it hangs in the same place.
Will my cell phone died?

Seems you system partition got corrupted. Do you have warranty?

I was also thinking that. Unfortunately it is no longer under warranty.

Start the flashing process
Phone will automatically restart and boot once done
Note if it bootloops just go into recovery and wipe data/reset and restart

go into recovery and wipe/data and restart
else use a different firmware

XX firmware is European so flash European firmware

I have flashed European firmware for gt-s6102 and I have bootloop. There has been some note about problem with mounting data.
Any ideas what went wrong ?

have you gone into recovery and wipe data/reset as per instructions on the first post?
if so you will probably need to also include the pit file if you have done wrong flashing in the past for your phone - you can search for the pit file for your phone and include that in the flashing process

No - I never include it as it's not needed & if you flash the wrong one you would potentially brick your phone & would require a jtag
All you need for general flashing a new stock rom is pda modem & phone & follow my instructions

You flash this in download mode as per instructions
It will format data so you shouldn't get any errors like that after fishing however you can always manually format data yourself in recovery mode as explained again in the instructions

This is the kind of post that really annoys me for 2 reasons
1 - you clearly still haven't read the instructions on the first post as it clearly tells you how to get into download mode and gives step by step instructions on how to do everything
2 - even if by some chance after reading the first post which gives you the answer anyway you could of just typed in Google "How to put galaxy y in download mode"

[Q] Need PIT file for S6500 (not 'd')

every one give me a PIT file for Galaxy mini 2 s6500 (not s6500d)
i try with "JENA_Secure_NonNFC_1109.zip" and it not work for me

detail for "it not work for me":
my phone is loop in booting when i use ODIN with: "JENA_Secure_NonNFC_1109" PIT file + my stock rom
I think the problem is not in my stock rom because in past, i used this stock rom (not with "JENA_Secure_NonNFC_1109" PIT file) and it worked

Install cwm on phone, and wipe data and system and cache.
Then flash s6500 stock rom with odin in pda column. Stock rom, it have partition file inside..i guess, it will be flashed.

thank for support me. BUT:
after repartition with that "unsecure_non_nfc" PIT by ODIN, I face with these problem:
1- I can not enter normal boot (loop)
2- I can not enter recovery mod (i use volumdown + vollumup + home + power but there is nothing happen). I flash CWM by ODIN but there is no change
3- I only can use DOWNLOAD mod
I dont clearly understanding about "partition, PIT, ... in android" , but I think the problem is "partition crash"
please continue help me

Just look around in this forum ..there are 2-3 threads with how to fix recovery if is not shown or get ramdump.
And please explain more about 1) no normal boot...did you stuck on : samsung logo / galaxy mini 2 / boot animation.

+ In the evening, the loop is: boot animation (I see anmation). But in the night, when I try flash CWM by ODIN (then I still can not enter recovery), the loop is: samsunglogo -> galaxymini2-> samsunglogo -> .... (I did not see animation) :laugh:
+ when I try re-partition (still with the "unsecure_non_nfic" PIT file) by ODIN, the ODIN show error: "re-partion operation falled" and my phone show: "secure check false: 0x95"

+ and now, when I try flash stock rom (not include PIT file) by ODIN the loop is: animation again
I feel my phone rom is now so mess

Ok you really need to force recovery to wipe data &system ..but please DO NOT EVER TRY AFTER REPAIR .PIT FILES!
MAKE SURE THAT YOU ALREADY FLASHED CLOCKWORKMOD RECOVERY!
1) remove battery and put in again in phone
2) go to download mode, but do not skip first screen
3) Logical: Pressing down button will reboot phone...but down + up + reboot = recovery
so...press vol down and vol up..and just hold it until you will see cwm logo ( please flash cwm 6.0.3.3 !)
Repeat: first press vol down and then wol up ! at but faaasstt!
4) CWM is now booting...wipe system and data
5) reflash stock rom...without any pit file!!!!!!!! (don't every try againg to use .pit! )
If your problem is not solved repeat all steps many times!!! TO RECOVER MY PHONE I NEED 1-2 HOURS!

Oh my god, it work :good::good::good::good::good: haha thank you so much, happy to see myphone work again
(but in fisrt screeen of DOWNLOAD mode, it should be: vol up + vol down + [home])
after wide data,catch,.. the loop was disapear and I can enter RECOVERY mode with normal way. Can you teach me some knowleage why bootting is effect by wide data,.. (i think bootting is only effect by boot.img)

@MaDaLiNoSt .. What is "Secure check fail 0x95" ?? I get that message too in Odin when I tried to flash the Pit File ..I hate it .. And I can't Even flash stock rom with odin .. I've tried several time .. It always failed in "Fat.bin" ?? Im not really sure what that is ..

1) WHY DO YOU FLASH PIT FILES??
Pit files are used when on your screeen appear partition fail ! Else is not useful!
2) Secure check fail is:
-Phone doesn't need pit at this moment
-you renamed the file
-file was damaged
-file is incompatible with firmware
-odin is outdated
-antivirus conflict while reading file
If you fail in fat.bin
-your rom is not compatible
-phone /system damage (need wipe and reflash)
-rom is wrong builded

I tried to flash PIT bcause I got problem with internal storage in KITKAT rom .. But nevermind .. Im satissfied with CM10.1 :angel: ..
Now about the failure in "Fat.bin" .. I've checked it just now .. In Download mode it said "Secure Check Fail : ID 0xc" .. what is that ?? Im very sure my phone model is GTS-6500D .. But in Download mode It was GTS-6500 !! And the baseband is clearly diferent from the one in "about Phone" setting .. But I still can use it tho ..

AS I SAID... you flashed an wrong rom.. you need to flash an s6500D rom not s6500. I never see an error in odin! Because I know what I am doing.
