When I tap on the widget it keads me to my gallery (Quickpic) then I choose a photo and it tells me "...It is not a supported format or exceeds file limit."
How do I make the album widget work?

I think you need to reset it by clearing its cache and data.
And for the quickpick problem you should go back to the default gallery application by setting it as the default application for viewing pictures again.

I downloaded a 1280x800 wallpaper on Google images but when I go into gallery and press set picture as the picture is way to big and I can't fit the box around the picture..
Download Wallpaper Slideshow from Market. Use a file explorer program like ES or Root Explorer and make a folder called wallpapers. Move your wallpapers into that new folder and use the program to point into that folder. That should fix your problem.

i can't find the app I searched for wallpaper gallery on the market but couldn't find it
Grab a copy of wallpaper wizard from the market. I had the same frustrations as you before I found it but now life is good

Or get wallpaper slideshow, works really good.

I edited my post. Follow those instructions.
MultiPicture Livewallpaper is a really good option to control your images and set full wallpapers. Its free on the market.
See ya!

I found out about this recently
I found those programs to slow down the xoom a lot. Scrolling through homescreens goes jerky etc.
In the end I wrote my own livewallpaper that just sets a completely static image as the background at full resolution without any cropping. When you turn in portrait it uses the center third of the image.
I think the issue with the other apps is on every frame update they appear to reload the image so it is acutally doing full screen animation but with the same image all the time. I made my wallpaper only reload the image when the orientation changes.
It's pretty buggy at the moment as if you load a massive image it will force close due to lack of memory. Also the wallpaper picture doesn't reload until you change orientation. If I get time to sort these bugs I'll put it up on the market.
Matt.
Looking at choices of clock skins in Beautiful Widgets, and now all photos/ icons are in my gallery. Is there an option or setting to prevent that?

insert a blank file called ".nomedia" into the directory.... hopefully BW will still see that there are skins there.
how can I change the appscreen wallpaper. It's black in default and I wonder if i can change it with a photo like in iOS 4.x.
Do you mean your wallpaper? Or the background for your app drawer? For the app drawer, it depends on your phone/rom or if you're using a home replacement.
For your home screen wallpaper, you should be able to hit menu from your home screen and select wallpaper from there. You can also go into your gallery, find the photo you want as your wallpaper, and press and hold on the photo for about a second. Select "Set as" or "Set as wallpaper" from the options shown.

I mean background photo for app drawer, I'm using galaxy 3, Kyrillos' ROM v7.0, so does it have any app for changing app drewer default photo?
Is there any way for me to set my own wallpaper for my homescreen and lockscreen without using ICS's crappy cropping tool?
I know there's an app for your homescreen, but when it comes to lockscreen I can only go into the Themes app and set it from there. Even then, it is majorly zoomed in and blurry.
If it still like GB MIUI, go to lockscreen wallpaper in themes app and hit menu button, choose from gallery and there bam!

OK, now it won't even show a crop tool. It just automatically does whatever it wants for the lockscreen wallpaper. When I try to change my homescreen wallpaper through this method it still uses ICS cropping.
Try the free app QuickPic- when you go to set your wallpaper, it should come up as an option alongside Gallery or whatever. It has its own cropping tool and recognizes your setting for wallpaper, i.e. non-scrolling (fixed) or scrolling (scaled across homescreens) and allows you to crop accordingly.
edit: I am on an AOKP-based ROM and the lockscreen option lets you choose which cropping tool to use- not sure if your ROM will allow this...
Is there anyway I can use the full picture for my lockscreen? Instead of having to crop them all the time?

While on the phone, no. You can however edit the picture you want as a lockscreen wallpaper and resize your picture to match the one needed for the lockscreen wallpaper.
For example:
If your lockscreen wallpaper has to be 1000x1000 and your picture is 2000x2000. You resize your image to 1000x1000 and set that as your lockscreen wallpaper.
I've tried resizing the picture, but still no joy! :/

I use quickpic for my media, and if I edited the lockscreen pic with it, it would not change.
I cleared quickpics defaults in the Android app settings and used the standard Sony crop feature (think it's called that) and all is fine and any pic I select, regardless of res (bigger/smaller doesn't always fit properly) will stick as my lockscreen.
So if you use a 3rd party app try clearing it's defaults
I was using one app for that but I'm not sure what was the name of it...
I know there's app for wallpapers (set full pict without cropping) but can't remember for lock screen.
But guy from above (not God, this one above my post ) said the right thing - just use some photo editor and resize your photo to desired size...
