Needs help - LG Optimus Black

Hey, I'm using Zeus 6.28 and when I had flashed it, it has been coming up with this message saying ' The process android.process.mediahas stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. ' and I have to press force close. Dose anyone now what this is and how to stop it??? Because I cannot listen to my music nor use my camera. And its really making me angry.

Hi there,
Please try and re-download the ROM again just to make sure it's not corrupted.
Do a wipe data/factory reset and clear cache on Clockworkmod before installing the zip file.

Alright.

Are you sure, you didnt miss any wipe? Full wipe = factory reset + dalwik wipe. Most ppl forget dalwik wipe, which often results in several bugs
Yes im sure i have had do a full wipe.
Before im using zeus i used cm7, can this be the problem?

Which Zeus did you flash? 6.35n or 6.35o? You could try the other and see if it works.
Maybe you also skipped an important update. Make sure you read the zeus post again.

Try to clean the data of the google store... That could be the problem.

Try another ROM please and tell us, if it works with this one. If it does work, you made a mistake while flashing. Which version exactly did you flash? Did you surely make a factory reset and a dalvik wipe? Try this one e.g. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1736985
Report back about the results. And maybe make a backup, in case you want to restore the version of zeus, you recently got installed on your phone.
Clean the data, one time it worked for me:
Settings -> Applicaitons -> Manage applications -> Google Play Store -> Clean data (or something like this)
Thanks for the quick answer, i have had flash zeus rom since v 4 and then i changed to cm7 then if i want to change to zeus back i have got this problem
And yes i have wiped all and done a factory reset and i have also cleaned cache i think the problem are when i am on the setup assistant and i want to sign in the assistant has a fc

Use titanium back up application
Skip the sign in google at starting stage
With titanium back up wipe data of play store
Clear catch of play store or google market if it is old version
Reboot
Then again sign
I have faced lots of time this issue and got it working
You can download titanium back up or similar application from net in the form of .apk form and copy to sd card and via file manager install it
But you have to allow application installation from outside source in setting in application in settings

The best method is also as below
In manage application in setting
Find play store
Click it
Clear catch and clear data
Reboot
Then sign in again
May it also work

If you are selecting version based on v20o then update must be of Base of v20o
I mean over v6.3o it must be v6.36o or v6.37o

You should re-flash gapps from ROM Manager. Remember to wipe dalvik cache. Dont tick wipe data and cache if you have files you need. You may also do clear data if you want.

Hi.
After i flashed IZS i got a problem: when i try to flash again Zeus or IZS my phone stuck at first wizard and a pop-up appear : com.android.setuplgwizard has stopped unexpectedly. ONLY IN HUEXXX ROMS !
I try v30b rooted, CM 7/10 and all is ok, but when i try to flash Zeus or IZS this pop-up fu*k my phone.
If i press FC pop-up appear again.
I try factory reset from hidden menu
I try v30 base/ v20s/v10a, wipe all, flash, wipe all again but don't work.
I deleted setupwizard.apk and now i got FC : com.lge.lgsetupqizardaid
What can i do?
SOLVED !!!!
In build.prop cut
user.feature.lgsetupwizard=true
add
ro.setupwizard.mode=DISABLE
Delete in system/app - lgsetupwizard.apk, lgsetupwizardaid.apk, setupwizard.apk and all works fine.
Work on all HUEXXX rom or based on.

[Q] message "android is being upgraded"

good afternoon friends. I would like some information please . When I turn on every time the phone appears the message "android is being upgraded" .... is fast and starts normal, but it started appearing after I installed an app. Already uninstalled it all and it is still showing up. a problem or normal? thanks for attention and sorry my Inglês
This message appears almost every time you reboot in my experience. It's just the Dalvik-cache rebuilding and updating itself.

I researched and it was even the Dalvik-cache. is normal or do I need to do something? not appeared before. thanks
It's normal behaviour, no need to worry
Sent from my LT30p using xda app-developers app
It is normal for it to happen, but not on every reboot...I suggest clearing caches, wiping dalvik, reflashing your Rom and rebooting.
It will build the dalvik cache again, but then should not do it until you update, delete or install a system app
