[Q] message "android is being upgraded" - Sony Xperia T, TL, TX, V

good afternoon friends. I would like some information please . When I turn on every time the phone appears the message "android is being upgraded" .... is fast and starts normal, but it started appearing after I installed an app. Already uninstalled it all and it is still showing up. a problem or normal? thanks for attention and sorry my Inglês

This message appears almost every time you reboot in my experience. It's just the Dalvik-cache rebuilding and updating itself.

I researched and it was even the Dalvik-cache. is normal or do I need to do something? not appeared before. thanks

It's normal behaviour, no need to worry

It is normal for it to happen, but not on every reboot...I suggest clearing caches, wiping dalvik, reflashing your Rom and rebooting.
It will build the dalvik cache again, but then should not do it until you update, delete or install a system app

I have the same problem.
Have the same ROM, recovery, and kernel as you. It is annoying... Sorry I can't help but you're not the only one.
Just did a full wipe, rebooted, installed rom manager, and restored my latest backup and all is good...

Plz someone help! This really annoys me. I can't even click some links because of that
Did you try reflashing the newest GAPPS Apk in the recovery mode ? That worked when my phone had issues with the Google Software...
Good luck
Actually i didn't flash newest gapps but i will flash gapps again when i flash 9.1 stable to my sgs. Do i have to wipe anything if i flash gapps?

it wouldnt hurt to wipe cache and dalvik cache. if the problem still exists try uninstalling the talkback app via an root uninstaller and then flash newest gapps again.

Upgrade from CM10 to 10.1...play store not working???

Hi everybody! Thanks a lot in advance for your support...really helpful!
Well, after a while eventually i tried installing C.M. 10.1 on my gorgeous CM10, for a boost of coolness and the sw improvements, but had some issues along the path.
It seems alla right on the first place, but then i tried and the play store (and some other app like waze) wouldn't work.
So i tried to replace the gapps:
Install them from CWM couple of wipe cache, couple of dalvik wipe...and a reboot.
But then the entire sistem stop working.
What did I screw up?
Did I miss the "Clear data factory reset" step? Was it necessary?
Grazie from Italy guys!!

Usually clearing the data of the application in settings>apps solves the problem.
R: Upgrade from CM10 to 10.1...play store not working???
...so I was right? I did screw up the whole thing when I skipped the "clear data-factory reset" step?

The easiest solution is for you to reflash the ROM with all wipes its op suggests an make sure the gapps are for that ROM because they can be the cause of problems too

...OK. so I also have to find the right gapps. You know a good source for the CM 10.1 gapps??

Whoops!! Major battery drain after restoring through TWRP

Shoot me down but I restored using TWRP and now need some advice on what I should do.
I updated my phone to 244 and rooted following the instructions from this page http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2387191
I didn't like it for a couple of reasons as my phone seemed buggy and my Walkman app wouldn't connect to music unlimited for some reason so I decided to restore back to my last firmware. (obviously a big mistake)
Now the battery is terrible, losses juice while plugged in to the mains while scrolling through apps and a bit of internet surfing. I unplugged my phone and within an hour has dropped to 75% with 30 mins of music and deleting apps while on the tube. WiFi and 3G turned off.
Do you think I should update through Sony companion and root through this method? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2386405
Did you do full wipe before restoring?

How do I restore it?
I dont have advanced wipe menu option
Just noticed I am running TWRP 2.4.3
It see your phone is buggy since you updated, better if you flash stock rom with flashtool with full wipe than do the rooting.

Think I will do that.
I am just doing a Nandroid backup.
Do you think the battery will be fixed?
It's dropping 1% every minute just in standby.
If my phone was a person it would bleed to death.

Do not restore your data, start with fresh installation, otherwise the battery drain will stay.

Insufficient storage

Every time I try to install an app from the play store I get an insufficient storage error message. I have plenty of space so that definitely isn't the issue. I tried moving all the apps I could to sd and still no luck. I've researched on Google for a solution but I haven't found one yet for this problem. Does anyone have an idea on how to solve this issue? Thanks.

Are you on the stock rom, or a custom one?
Try wiping the playstore's cache. (settings - general - app manager - playstore - wipe cache)
If that doesn't work one of your other apps is sucking up memory with it's cache. What app do you use the most? Try wiping it's cache. Sometimes removal of your google account and reinstalling it fixes playstore issues.
I've tried wiping the play store cache and data but no luck. I also did the same with all of my apps. I am on Knox raid 4.3.3

What slot are you running it on and when you set it up did you increase the size or leave with default? Just make a backup, delete the rom slot and recreats it with the max size. If this doesn't work or you already ha e it at the max size, just make sure you have a backup of the stock slot and restore Knoxraid. Just my 2 cents.
