Every time I try to install an app from the play store I get an insufficient storage error message. I have plenty of space so that definitely isn't the issue. I tried moving all the apps I could to sd and still no luck. I've researched on Google for a solution but I haven't found one yet for this problem. Does anyone have an idea on how to solve this issue? Thanks.

Are you on the stock rom, or a custom one?
Try wiping the playstore's cache. (settings - general - app manager - playstore - wipe cache)
If that doesn't work one of your other apps is sucking up memory with it's cache. What app do you use the most? Try wiping it's cache. Sometimes removal of your google account and reinstalling it fixes playstore issues.
I've tried wiping the play store cache and data but no luck. I also did the same with all of my apps. I am on Knox raid 4.3.3

What slot are you running it on and when you set it up did you increase the size or leave with default? Just make a backup, delete the rom slot and recreats it with the max size. If this doesn't work or you already ha e it at the max size, just make sure you have a backup of the stock slot and restore Knoxraid. Just my 2 cents.

Supposedly the new update to the market (pushed out today) creates this problem. I personally froze the market updater because I don't like the new layout of the my apps section, and the missing apps.
The new Play sucks
Any solutions for this problem ?
Just keep reporting it to Google and hope they get the message.
Mine has just update itself and is now showing my Apps.

try wiping dalvik cache from cwm.
it usually works.
after wipe, will take more time to boot, as the device rebuild dalvik cache.

Believe me, I faced this problem before, this problem happens when you use the Lucky Patcher to remove license verification and if you fail data folder get the power amp odex file, just delete it and reinstall.
Works again
Had to delete the obex file
Now I have another question, because I'm running cyanmobile, is it possible to control power amp via the statuabar music control? I know it works, but it just says unknown - :what:unknown

Just had same problem, after upgrading from 4.1.1 to 4.1.2 (and yes, I had Lucky Patcher involved). Nothing helped (clearing dalvic cache, neither I had any suggested files to delete). The only thing helped - clearing Play Market app data! Hope this might help to someone.
I installed MX Video Player 1.6e and was going to upgrade it to the latest version of the software. So I uninstall MX Video Player and when I tried to install the latest version of MX Video Player, it say "Out of Space".
I did some reading up and there is a few post about deleting the odex file under Android/App/Data. However, there isn't any odex file in that folder. I even tried deleting the who Data folder and it does not solve the issue. Anyone has any idea where I can go to clean up the install file for MX Video Player?
Just where is the Android/App/Data folder ? I can't seem to find it.
Try deleting the app via Titanium Backup and also check if you are really out of storage space ?
The full path is mnt/sdcard/android/app/data.
The app has already been deleted so it is not showing up in Titanium Backup. I have double check the storage space and I got a good 1.1gb of space left.
So not really sure what to do from this point. I know that I can install the latest version of MX Video Player if I do a full wipe but I rather avoid doing this if I can.
Same problem here. Just can't install titanium backup and poweramp..

Don't do it! Stick to 1.6e as later versions have the DTS codec removed which sucks donkey balls.

You can also just remove the .odex file for the app you patched. It will be in /data/app/nameofapk.odex

Try the app "SD Maid"
It cleans up the system and leftover files. Kind of CCleaner for Android.

SD maid doesn't help. Cleaned up my entire phone and still couldn't install Poweramp and titanium backup.
Wiped my data and performed a clean install of PA last night, and managed to install and update TB but Poweramp still doesn't install.

hi!
my samsung note from vodafone keeps getting error message when trying download or update any apps larger than 7.5mb, when i logged into google play account, the status of those apps were completed. these have been happening for 1 month, since i come back from 3 months holiday overseas. I have factory reset my samsung note when the issues happened, but nothing help.
when i download or update those apps, i would mostly get the error message "package file is invalid" and also "error 911" "error 923". i contacted vodafone and google play support, they checked everything for me and couldn't find any issues between their services and my accounts.
when i shared the wifi to an ipad or a samsung tab, there was no problem downloading on these devices. so the issues are only with my note n7000.
i am wondering if there is any settings that could cap my downloading capacity.
can anyone help me with the issues asap please? it's such a headache!!!
thanks!

I have the same issue! Thought it was just "normal" or Play Store related, not a problem. Hope there's an answer somewhere.
if you have checked all the settings related to APN, clear data, and cache of Google play and play services, also uninstalled updates, wiped dalvik cache in recovery.. still the same issue. once try to delete the google account and re enter it. and check again
Well there are some 3G packs that limit bandwidth. I dont think its a problem of your device when you can download over wifi. Change your sim and try again with another one.

If everything is stock and you didnt tinker with rom/ google apps then try warrantee.
If warrantee/Samsung cant fix it then try philz kernel for your rom. downoload your csc rom (dial *#06#, to get emei).
then dial *#272*youremeihere# then you know what csc and what rom to download.
Now backup fotos, texts etc (no apps or data) and go into recovery mode, on phillz kernel and wipe everything, also in advanced (only dalvik) Go to mounts and format everything (take out sdcard before)
Now head into download mode, confirm and flash the rom via pc odin (dr ketans thread stickied in development section)
It should be working again after this.
all at own risk
good afternoon friends. I would like some information please . When I turn on every time the phone appears the message "android is being upgraded" .... is fast and starts normal, but it started appearing after I installed an app. Already uninstalled it all and it is still showing up. a problem or normal? thanks for attention and sorry my Inglês
This message appears almost every time you reboot in my experience. It's just the Dalvik-cache rebuilding and updating itself.

I researched and it was even the Dalvik-cache. is normal or do I need to do something? not appeared before. thanks
It's normal behaviour, no need to worry
Sent from my LT30p using xda app-developers app
It is normal for it to happen, but not on every reboot...I suggest clearing caches, wiping dalvik, reflashing your Rom and rebooting.
It will build the dalvik cache again, but then should not do it until you update, delete or install a system app
