Hello,
I had a Galaxy Note with nordic rom in Sweden. The csc code was NEE. I wanted to upgrade it to ICS so I changed the csc code to ATO (Austria).
Everyting went fine, but now Sweden has released the ICS update for Galaxy Note. I tried to change the csc code again to NEE, but it is not working.
It selects NEE, but every time it installs the software with ATO. I tried to select different csc codes, but nothing works. It just re-install everything with ATO.
Do you know, what is the problem ?
I have a UK Note and when the German ICS ROM was released I used it to update my Gingerbread ROM rather than wait for the UK ICS ROM to be released. Unfortunately, that meant I had a UK CSC code that did not match the German ROM and so I changed my UK CSC code to a German CSC code so that I could receive future updates using Kies or OTA.
However, when the UK ICS ROM was eventually released I flashed it and discovered I had no UK CSC code available. I solved the problem by flashing a EU regional GB ROM which had several CSC codes including the UK CSC code then flashed the UK ICS ROM so that I now had the correct UK ROM and was able to select the matching CSC code.
I'm not sure if you are experiencing the same problem that I had, but perhaps my solution may help you.
You are partially correct.
My problem is that All the csc codes are listed and I can select any code I like, but every time in installs the ics with ATO csc code.
Any one have any idea how to resolve this issue ?

Did you try Factory reset? Reseting counter doesn't change your status. What is your Device Status? Normal or Modified? Also, you can dial *#1234# to check your CSC.
My CSC was changed to OPS or something after flashing Pandoriam Rom (made in Australia ). Few days ago I've came back to stock by using EE pre-rooted ROM from here. Now my CSC is EVR (BLL1 - EE UK)

Hi Guys,
I have tried several methods and combination to change my CSC but no success yet. I have below issue :
1. I had initially DBT CSC
2. After June firmware, I changed my CSC to BTU
3. NOw i want it change to DBT but not able to do so
I installed XID (indonesian) firmware that changed my CSC but then I flashed again DBT firmware and CSC was automatic set to BTU. I didnt event got the option to select the sim service right after boot.
I tried it with different firmwares and all results in BTU.
I also tried removing sim while flashing but nothing helped. Was there any change in June firmware that permanently set by CSC to BTU no matter which firmware i flash, if it is multi csc, it is always by default set to BTU.
Hope to have some genious ideas on changing my CSC.
thanks,
Hi there, there is a lot of generic firmware, or OXM firmware, but doesn't matter which one I flash I always get Telestra, even tho original CSC was TIM, I can easly flash it with with network branded firmware and csc changes, but OXM always comes up as Telestra. Does anybody know a firmware that will give me generick uk or germany? Or is there a way to change csc through AT commands ?

Home CSC can't modified but you can get some helpful flashing guidence here. Doing so may affect updates.
Change CSC from LUX to DBT
Can I change my CSC from LUX to DBT by flashing the DBT firmware (minus the HOME_CSC, so i keep my data) ? I've just ordered credits from Sammkey but I'm wondering what that is even needed if a flash via Odin will also do the trick. I want to...

I have an ATL device (Vodafone Spain). Apart from the one Vodafone bloatware app that I uninstall via adb, I can use my Magenta Austria SIM just fine. Everything works as intended and I assume this is due to the OXM firmware. So if you don't miss any features, I personally wouldn't bother changing the CSC
If XEH and DBT share the same multi OXM firmware, their firmware is exactly the same. Meaning flashing the DBT firmware will do nothing as it is the same one that XEH uses. The CSC will only change by that method, if you flash a firmware that doesn't have your current CSC included
