I had ICS stunnerRom running on my N7000 for a while, all of a sudden it went into boot loop. I wiped the data and it all worked.
Now, I tried restoring from a previous CWM restore state and restoration failed in between. All further attempts of wiping data/cache, dalvik, app cache and followed by reboots failed -- It always gets stuck at "Galaxy note GT-N7000 screen".
I even tried re-flashing ICS stunner ROM and RocketRom, it never finishes and gets stuck till it reboots to "Samsung Galaxy note GT-N7000".
Lastly, I tried AbyssNote 4.2 kernel, again, flashing got stuck in-between and phone rebooted into "Samsung Galaxy note GT-N7000".
Your best bet would be to restore to GB using Odin then start again. When completed flash a safe kernel and then whatever ROM you prefer.

I am afraid your Note is bricked. Take it to the Service Centre and get a new motherboard. I strongly believe your emmc went for a toss and cannot be recovered. There is a method to recover from this but you will lose out on some 2-3 gb of space (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=26285877#post26285877)

My phone all of sudden is stuck on loop boot screen. The Galaxy Black and white screen comes with the galaxy s swirl screen, then the 3g network logo comes on, music file plays, then it starts over again.
Didn't do anything new to the phone, phone has been fine all this time.
Have voodoo lagfix on the phone installed with froyo, which was then updated to gingerbread. After which it had been working fine for last two months, no porblems.
Have gone into recovery mode, wiped cache and dalviks cache, but still no luck. Have disabled lagfix, still no good. Have wiped data/factory reset, no luck still. It just keeps repeating the boot scene over and over again.
anyone have any ideas?
Can you get into Download mode? If so, flash back to stock using Odin.
thanks got it fixed, by using this method

thanks for replying.
Hi,
Okay so I have a Galaxy Ace S5830. It was rooted etc with no problems. I was just running the stock ROM (Koodo) that it came with.
Earlier I took a backup with CWM, then I used ODIN to flash a different ROM that I got from a different thread. However this ROM was not working well for me, the network connection kept winking in and out, so I wanted to go back to my stock ROM.
I got the stock firmware from SamFirmware using my model + country. I then used ODIN to flash the stock ROM.
When I boot after doing this, I go into a bootloop between the Koodo splash screen and the glowing SAMSUNG logo.
To hopefully remedy this, I used CWM to restore the backup I had taken previously.
However, when I boot after doing this, there is no loop, the phone simply sits at a screen with a black background that says Samsung GALAXY Ace GT-S5830D in white lettering. I have left it for a substantial amount of time and nothing changes.
I have read some other threads and they all suggest re-flashing stock rom with ODIN which I have done to the same result. So at this point the firmware will not fully boot, whether or not I have restored the backup.
Any help in fixing this will be appreciated! I'm stuck and I don't know what to do at this point, other than try some other firmwares.
Thanks!
Update:
Thanks to ver3go I was able to get back to stock rom + factory settings. the bootloop issue has been resolved.
HOWEVER,
when I load from the backup I made with CWM, it freezes forever at the black + white samsung galaxy ace screen.
Any solutions would be great. Though it's not a huge issue, it would be nice to not have to re-install all my apps and reconfigure my phone

Before restoring your back up, do 3 the wipes and then restore your backup
Sorry if there is a thread about this already.
My girlfriends galaxy note started to do a software update and went to reboot and it gets stuck on the boot up screen. (With the writing)
The phone isn't rooted but is there anyway to get the phone working without doing a factory restore and wiping the data?
Thank you.
My brothers Totally stock captivate is getting stuck on Galaxy S screen.
Any idea ?

Hello everyone, I'm facing a problem where my n7000 which running a supernexus 2 milestone 1 stuck at boot logo. first, it started with random appearance of 'gapps.google.com has stopped working' message every 10 minutes or so. Since the messages start to appear, my stock browser which come with the rom are no longer can be use. and this morning, I'm using the phone as usual and suddenly the phone reboot, and stuck at the boot logo. Any idea on how to fix this?
Flash the rom again on top of this. If this still gives problems, you will need to wipe data.
full wipe.. flash philz kernel.. reboot recovery.. full wipe again.. flash rom..
