To start off, i know im about to get blasted by everyone that "i should've bought an iphone if i wanted iphone games" but does any one know of an already or in-production emulator to get iphone games/apps on an HTC Dream?
LOL, i wouldn't blast you for this, I think it would be funny as hell and a big kick in the pants towards Apple. If an emulator for Iphone apps could be made it would really piss of Jobs and that would make me happy. There are some neat Iphone apps, but nothing that would make me run and buy an iphone cause i couldn't live with out it. But an emulator would really turn the tides in the battle between smart phones . Also a black berry emulator would rock too. an Iphone emulator i think would be easier though since it too is linux based like android.
Adobe is about to release a product called Adobe air along with Flash 10.01 for Android which will simplify porting of Iphone games to Android and Vice versa. There are already some early reviews from developers that have used it and in some instances games were able to be ported within 10 mins and most not more than a few hours. Get excited much?

Air will only work if jobs allows it in the sdk. As of right he isn't compromising and flash nor air will work on iphones outside of jailbreaking.

Unless a developer is using a tool that can target both android and iphone it isn't easy at all to port games. I swear some people talk as if there is a button you press and magically games can be ported to their system of choice.
So is a emulator still not available? I got few emulator but they ask for surveys...

Nah let me be honest. I'm in love! This phone is just amazing.
From the performance to screen and design just a simple WOW!. My friends on school loved it. Saying it was unique because well nobody has this phone as it isn't been sold in the Netherlands. Of course I feel special :laugh:
I haven't rooted it yet. Sadly don't know how to do that. I did download some apps, games and put some music on it. while the 16GB might not be a lot, for me it is enough!.
Camera quality is amazing for me. Seeing I come from a Samsung star I might not see the difference that people do see with a S3 vs Nexus 4.

After reading ur post, I get a feeling that it is written by me lol. I am exactly in the same boat. The place where I work, there are around 3000 employees and not even a SINGLE one has a nexus 4. Definitely feels very special to have the latest and greatest of Andriod. People envy me.. they have said that themselves. I simply LOVE this phone. Teh camera for me is awesome. I love it.
I agree with both of you really is a good phone possible the best so far and I've had most couple of Iphones 3g/4s and HTC desire hd which was OK and a moto defy brilliant but most of my friends and work mates have iphones which I got them on to they won't look at any thing else shame on them they think i weird lol. the nexus 4 on jelly bean vanilla is best is I've used up to now and quality of the phone is spot on can not fault.

I've been very good so Santa is leave a bronze edition T800 under the tree for me tonight with the official book case as well. I also have a 64gb micro sd card to match it.
My last tablet was a nexus 10, and i really loved the pure android experience so I'm thinking to start with I will install nova prime launcher to get me away from Touchwiz.
Hopefully we have a official port of CM12 in the not to distant future.
Any other tips for my first day?

It's an amazing tablet! You're gonna just melt when you look at that damn screen. Watching videos at 1440p on youtube is absolutely stunning. Merry Xmas and congrats on the loot!!

Agreed. I was trying to find a way to get signal on n910c rom but to no avail. Hopefully this be a good start to the long weekend.
If we don't get this update soon it may be time to choose a new manufacture, really wish Samsung would provide at least an update.

Man i hope this is released soon. Ive never been more impatient for a phone update in my life..
After we receive Android 5.0.1, we will be making up more names and bashing at Samsung about Android 5.1. Geez... People these days. The update is much needed for all, but I don't think making names and bashing at the company will speed up the process. IMO.
This thread is going to need an updated header for each week Samsung's delayed.
It's unconscionable that a device that was explicitly mentioned as having a Lollipop upgrade path on launch is now 6 months removed from launch -- but Lollipop is only on a handful of variants. I can't even imagine what people who have variants like X and W are doing... they don't even have recourse to custom ROMs.
What's taking so long?? It didn't take that long to copy the iPhone 6, did it Samesung? Can you now devote your resources to pushing Lollipop to our Note 4 variant? Please?

I would like to express myself. This was my 2nd Android device and Nexus device and I haven't looked back since. The best at the time of release, and was able to use it till now, even got to use Nougat on it via custom ROMs. Huge thanks to the developer who are keep making it better with the every release of new OS and porting it for it. Special thanks to @ganachoco @sykopompos @snak3ater @spezi77 and all the others too. Sorry if I forgot somebody. I wanted to buy the 6P but due to some reasons it got postponed then Google release the Pixel and I've been eyeing it for a while, the XL model because I am using N4 for a long time and need a bigger phone. My Nexus 4's performance not good, obviously it can be better with some tweaks but I left that tweaking side of me. Also battery life became poor, the camera had more noise than usual.
So that's it for me, I would like to say goodbye and thank you. See you all on the other side (Pixel forums).

Hum, that's kind of sad to read -- but definitely a wise decision to move on and experience something new, try something different!

Yes, really enjoyed the Nexus 4. For me, this is still the best looking Nexus. Can't wait to get my Pixel XL tomorrow! :silly:
