How to download this rom?
What is the best rom for you? MiniCM7 2.2.1? MIUI.us 2.6.22 based on MiniCM9?
Thanks
Hello its kinda strange question tho, ofc MiniCM7 is better than MIUI
ooww...be careful to install nightly version...because there is some bugs
if you still want to download it you can download from the link dude!
in Download word, after Requirements
but i think miniCM is better!
I have already installed MiniCM7, but I want to try MiniCM9 but I see that some things do not work. That's why I asked you to MIUI, because I see that is somewhat stable.
Anyway thanks and I hope MiniCM9 new version come out as soon as possible.

Hi all, I recently took the plunge into the world of custom roms and its awesome, so much better then stock
I have flashed my x8 with the Froyo 2.2.1/Cyanogenmod 6.1.3 rom by ponanovn and he has just released a new rom Gingerbread 2.3.5/Cyanogenmod 7.1-Pre using cm7, When I first installed the orginal Froyo 2.2.1 I used x recovery and simply renamed the file to update.zip and simply flashed it and it worked however on his page he doesnt say rename the file to "update, zip" anymore and he says make a back up in "cwm recovery" instead of xrecovery is it neccesary to use cwm recovery with cm7? im just a bit confused if anyone could help me I would be gratefull Thanks
Too complicated! Download and install GingerDX instead. It's a FULLY working Gingerbread 2.3.5!

Thanks I was having a look at it before and it seemed pretty good, might just make the change to GingerDX, are you using it? if so are there any bugs etc? cheers
Yes, I'm using v005. SO SMOOTH!!! And 3MP camera!! I have no bugs at all. If you have bugs, make a full wipe.
I can recommend GingerDX as well, it is updated on a regular basis, and doixanh is one of the best ROM developers for X8 currently, he just seems to be able to pull things off that noone expected, like the 3mp camera fix for instance!
I agree, GingerDX is the most complete 2.3 Rom. There is updates nearly every day and each update will preserve your data, no major bugs and if there is DX will sort it.
Thanks for the help
I would suggest GingerDX.
But you can try to use multiboot if you have a class 6 or more sd card instead of changing a ROM.

go on this page and download the latest version
Okay , it's been hours , and I found nothing fruitful.
I just want a stable ROM on my X8 , and get rid of my Eclair.
I want Froyo , not gingerbread.
My device is rooted , Got backups with Xrecovery. I have Stock kernal
Firstly , Gingerdx v021 had a buggy messaging application , and I removed it.
Froyobread resulted into a boot loop on my device (Recovered now using PCC)
And , I'm not able to find a clean version of Floyo 1.0 . I downloaded from two sources , and got different errors. (once a missing file , and second time a MD5 error).
Is there any genuine file for Floyo 1.0 , which is 100%working, if you suggest that ? Or is there anything much better ? Download links for those will be appreciated.
I dont wish to change my kernal , and want a very stable/smooth ROM , and highly preferable choice is froyo , since it would be more stable.
Somebody Please Help !!
Well . I'm using Minicm6 , which is 2.2.1 froyo, and I like it very much. Very responsive touchscreen, nice performance, good battery life, and... STABILITY! I've never experienced force close with this rom.

Can I install Froyopro 1.1 via Xrecovery ? Or do I necessarily need clockworkmmod recovery ?
Any known bugs (except auto-brightness) which you faced ?

At the beginning : this is my first post forgive me any misstake.
Is there a possibilty to flash the official Cyanogenmod 7.1 without unlocking the bootloader and flashing a kernel?
BTW: Is there a good CM9 or other ICS rom for the E15i
( for Ics i would flash the kernel. not for cm 7.1 because GingerXperia is very nice)
Thanks
No you cant flash official cyanogen mod 7.1 without installing custom kernel.
And there is no cm9 rom which can be used daily for x8.
Currently we have two AOSP ICS ROMs troufiniou's which is stoped I think and paul-xxx's. They still habe some bugs and in my opinion they are still not for daily use.
There are some guys that try to make a CM9.
Still just use GingerDx or somethin that is checked from the community!
Thanks
THx for fast reply. I will use GingerXperia. GingerDx works with stock kernel??
I will wait for a stable CM9.
Thank you very much
you can install rom(just rom) with out unloucking boot loader
does someone has experiences with gingerdx and gingerxperia?? which is better?

racht's Floyo v0.25?
You may want to upgrade to something more recent like FroyoPro v2.4 by lrakkarl as racht abandoned development of his X8 ROMs (he's on a Xperia Ray now).
ehem I need solutions here

Maybe post your problem in the nAa kernel thread in the Development section - you will get a broader MiniCM7 user audience there - and in case it's a Kernel bug chances are higher that nAa will see it.
EDIT: Since you are below 10 posts ... up your post count to be able to post in threads in the dev section

That doesn't fix his problem!!!
He can try at least 30 diferents rom on here. If he's asking for help, I guess it's cause he don't want to change his rom to another one.
Maybe u should make a full wipe cause I used this rom almost 2 month and never had any issue with bluetooth

Bro, it seems you have hardware problem you need to check-in sony service center, and good thing is that you lost your warranty(if under duration). now you need pay extra bugs for the repair.
i just want to ask
im noobs here and need some instruction
can you explain me advantages and disadvantages of this rom ?
- gingerDX
- MiniCM7
sorry maybe some of you can help
thanks
Avantages Gdx , fast smooth , and minicm , smooth stable for daily use
Sent from my E15i using XDA
GingerDx fast and smooth, but for me sucks cuz it works on top of Stock and Alfs-GDX kernel which means that my phones WiFi dont work very well.
MiniCm fast and smooth maybe GingerDx is a bit faster and smoother, but it works on top of nAa and Alfs-Cm7 kernel which means no problems with WiFi for me and i think its perfect for day to day use if its supercharged.
Hit thanx if i helped.
wifi doesnt matter for me thanks for your opinion
dont bother them gingerXperia is a very good rom and also gives a SE make over to ur phone.it is stable and good for daily use...
Hope this helps

each rom has its own advantages and disadvantages, the best depends on our own user experience
if u dont know on ur own which rom to use better stuck with stock rom or go ahead and test both rom on ur own. if one rom wins in one thing other fails in something..imo gdx is good...
