Two questions.
What rom?
Are you in the US? Can't tell right now as I'm on my tab.

These apps are for tablets with Android 3.1 or higher, not for GB.
The P1000 is not a tablet, it's a big mobile phone!

i thought the big phone is the Phablet ie the Galaxy Note.
i thought the Galaxy TAB: the word :Tab" referred to the word "Tablet".
if allis for 3.1 and not GB. then that would make sense.
thanks for the reply
GT-P1000 was developed with phone UI, there's no GB tablet interface so yes, it is nothing but a big phone really. Only way for it to "become a tablet" is using one of the ics ROMs with 160 or lower dpi.

Is there anyway to get chronium os working on our tab? There is another newer 7 inch tablet running it. Freescale make a tab that runs linix android or chronium. There are a few others.
Is there anyone working on this?

To be honest, I think that the Chrome OS will work much better on Tablets than on Netbooks. I would like to try one too if ever.

That would be pretty neat. Its up to someone that actually owns the tablet to port it over though -- so i think we will be waiting for a while ;-)
im curious
whats so nice about the galaxy keyboard. is it very different?
would give it a shot absolutely but I am LOVVVING thumb keyboard
I'm curious - did Samsung include swype with their tab? (not that swyping across a 10" screen is all that useful)
Samsung tab is very much on par with the Xoom, also Tegra dual core and Android 3 based

I don't see what this has to do with the thread... unless you're saying that it should be easy to port?
You gotta wait for 10.1 system dump probably

Can Sprint's recent 2.3.4 upgrade work with Verizon's GT?
Any other decent way of getting Gingerbread on a Verizon GT, other than waiting and waiting?
yes you can
I have vzw galaxy tab and i flashed sprints gb rom 2.3.4 and it is superfast. Also i now have netflix and gtalk with fully functional vidio chat. If you go to android development its all there

Yep but for sprint towers. I just use it as wifi, i have the xoom on data plan. I just used tegrak kernal and overclocker from the market for free and set it to run at 1.2 ondemand and this thing is screamong fast. I just ran a 1600 plus quadrant. I root everything and this is one of the best stock roms ever it has so many possabilities. Used 3d from market to instal qualcomm and tegra2 kernals on the galaxy tab and know i can play almolst all the3dtegra games. Full video chat support from gtalk and netflix with tv out capable and un copyright protected. Streaches full 55 inch tv and looks great. Couldnt be happier.
What site has the files? Odin or Heimdall?
I have downloaded NOVA HD 2 from Samsung Apps. I go to run it and it never starts. I get a white screen.
Anyone else found this?
Is it a THD version? If so the tablet doesn't have a tegra 2 chipset and therefore will not run on tab... Try the non-hd version of the game it might not be tegra chipset reliant

Nova 1 is broken on gingerbread on the tab. If you check gameloft forums they've known about it for months but it seems they still
haven't fixed it. Nova 2 on the android marketplace works perfectly on gingerbread on the tab, but it isn't free like nova 1- but still well worth getting.

Thanks for the replies. You would imagine that any apps that download from samsung apps will work on it , but i guess that it does other samsung phones as well.
Hi guys, i have a galaxy s3 with archidroid, and i've just buy a chromecast. Play music and YouTube run smooth but when i try to do the screen mirroring it lags so much, even the phone lags, and i dont know why. I have a 20 mbps connection, and the device is just 2 meters from router...i see that device like nex 5 runs very smooth, there are something i can do?

Not really since your device isn't supported for mirroring. I'm guessing you're using the mirror app. The S3's hardware specs are dated and can't provide the full performance needed to mirror without issues. I have a LGG3 which is a supported device but even I get a bit of lag and watching an entire program even if the phone is next to the router is never stutter free.

No issues here with my S3, might be an issue because the international S3 has specs that are not identical to the US S3

Actually i have only 1gb RAM...only gs3 neo gas 1.5gb...maybe it can be the ROM, but i have archidroid 2.5.3 that native support mirroring, so it can be the phone that is too old...but in some weeks i can be able to get a LG g2, that is ufficilaly supported by chromecast, so i shouldnt have problem

Ah, even less wow. It's very possible it's the rom or just the phone itself
From my CM11 S3
Age is probably one factor but Rom and the amount of crap you have running in the background will also affect performance.
