Hmm, sorry for stating the obvious but did you try the CM nightly builds?
Actually I dont want to apply them because i dont have any issues with stock rom and the perfomance is really nice also. All in all I dont want to leave the stock. So thats why i need those files.

1. make a nandroid backup
2. install cm
3. get ur files
4. make nandroid restore
if you know what files u exactly need u can extract them from the last nightly
I know but afraid that nandroid fails. Thanks by the way!

can you extract it for me from your stock, and upload here?
Need few files as below
adb pull /system/bin/btld /your/desired/location
adb pull /system/bin/immvibed /your/desired/location
adb pull /system/bin/lgospd /your/desired/location
adb pull /system/bin/lgospd_hid /your/desired/location
If you read the cyanogenmod wiki about building cm7 for your device specifically there's a script called extract_files.sh that will get the files you need.

i do know about it, but i m getting error in these few files when try to extract, and then checked its not there in CM7 nightliy 17, so as you running stock, i think it would be in yours, but its ok, got it from proprietary link
I have a problem in connection with setting udev. I dont know how to do it. A few line instruction would be useful. All I know is that I have to customize udev.d to lge code right? But I dont find the that file.
Edit: I logged in as root and made 51-android.rules in etc/udec/rules chmoded but it doesn't work. cannot adb pull

Sorry for my late reply, I was sleeping, as i was compiling my rom at already 4 am germany. Just woke up, and here is link to koush's files, thank him.
https://github.com/koush/proprietary_vendor_lge
just use download button, and download as zip and then extract in your folder, but if your rules have problem it would be first thing to fix it.
Sure but I downloaded the same and got the error that I had posted. BTW have you succeeded in compiling the rom?
I tried to browse the files on /proc on my LG P970 but I can't find the config.gz file on it. I used the adb method and root explorer but I still can't find it there. I'm wondering if where is it located? Can anybody upload their config.gz from a stock rom?
Hello there!!
Even I am looking for the same. Did you got to know, how can we get the config.gz??

Nope a lot of companies like LG remove it from the kernel. But e.g. for our phone, you can download the complete kernel sourcecode (without ramdisk) and rebuild it on your own with the defconfig in there.

Why don't u do this
Delete the LG framework from the LG's Rom and place the framework of the HTC's and replace the permissions too in the /etc folder u will get more functionality
And replace the bootclasspath in the starting of the lines in the init.rc of ur kernels ramdisk

Hi all,
NoobTW requested a flashable zip of this firmware and I went ahead and made it. Decided to drop it here because it will probably get more exposure here and more people can enjoy it.
I'm an LT30p user myself so I can't do much in terms of support.
Just wanted to give you this to spark some interest in building your own ROMs and get you going.
Use dsixda's Android Kitchen, once you learn to master it, you're on your way to becoming a ROM Chef.
Please don't ask me for any updates or new features. This is provided "as is".
Feel free to use this as a base for your own ROM as long as give me some credit and link to this thread
Atteched you will find the update-binary and updater-script for reference
Make a full nandroid backup and make sure you have the ftf handy in case of emergency.
Made from the FTF Jozinek provided here

I said I wasn't going to update but I was helping out @whalesplaho with some stuff and decided to build it anyway. Please test this and let me know if it works. Also, I need to know if the kernel has been updated for this firmware, I can make a zip for it if needed.

You don't have to because it was included in the deodexed zip but it doesn't hurt if you do.
If you would test it I would be grateful.

Already did, went back to stock firmware and nothing appears, load it again and I have the stuck pixel only in 60%+ brightness (always using 10% no problem for me).

Thanks! Been using this for testing purposes, have flashed it quite a bit with no problems at all. Works very nicely just as stock. Would be perfect if the initial zip had recovery already but that's just nitpicking
I'm having a play around with the ROM in the OP using dsixda's kitchen, but as this is the first time I've tried this I need a little advice.
1. When in the kitchen, it wants to change the updater-script to an update script, can I just go ahead and do this ? Or does this step need a XV specific script? I'm confused as to the relevance of the script added in the OP and if I should somehow be using that.
2. Is there a list somewhere of the bloatware (is this only apk's) that can safely be removed ? I can't find one.
Many thanks
Don't change it to update-script, it will mess things up when changing back to updater-script. Best you can do is unpack the ROM to a folder in the root of the kitchen and put WORKING_ in front of it. Just use the kitchen for building the ROM zip.
There's no definitive list of bloatware but if you Google "xperia bloatware" you will find the most common ones. The rest is personal.
