[Q] Please help

So i had damages rom on my hero for over a year now and it worked fine then yesterday i unmounted my sdcard put another one in and the phone froze i restarted it, did nand restore, reflashed the rom and everything and nothing it just keeps boot looping so today i hard reset it ( hold down home key, back key and power button) hoping i could just start from scratch and nothing its still just boot looping. I tired to flash another rom but guess since the phone wont fully turn on my comp doesnt recognize it or pick it up... Please help dont know what else to do. Thanks

It sounds like you can get into recovery. If so, wipe data,cache,boot,system,dalvik cache. Then flash a new ROM and gapps (from the same thread). It would REALLY help if you would state what recovery and version# you have, what ROM you were trying to flash with what gapps, what radio baseband you have, whether you are s-off or not, and what all you have tried so far, with elaborate steps.

[Q] HELP! Phone won't turn on after installing Aroma

Hey guys,
Today I decided to flash TrickDroid 10.0.0. Everything went well, installed it and at the end of flashing appeared a blue screen saying "Please wait". Waited for about 8-10 minutes, than just clicked once a power button. It asked me do I really wanna quit Aroma installation, pressed No. Then something "magical" happened and it was saying that installation is finished, click to reboot. So I did. After this step my phone won't turn on in any ways, tried to connect to pc - still no signs, it even won't charging..
How can I bring it to life!? Or this is it?

Hold Power and Volume down until it goes into the bootloader, from there go into recovery and try re-flashing.

Tried this many times but still nothing happens. I think it's totally bricked

Put it under a light, a very strong light and longpress the power button, try this

Are you S-On or S-Off? If you're S-On it isn't possible for you to totally brick the phone as far as I'm aware ... Especially not from flashing a ROM.

I'm S-On. I was searching for a solution later today and I found JTAG Riff box (actually, the service which brings the phones back to life by using this tool). However they can't help me at all, cause my phone isn't listed in that repairable list (not sure why). And the other thing they said was that I need to change the mainboard, because there're no other ways how to fix this problem. And it's a job for htc, not for them.

if your phone is booting to recovery you can still fix it without replacing mainboard just download cyanogenmod once and try flashing it after wiping everything and see if phone boots up. if it does you can use another custom sense 5rom and if it doesnt htc is the way to go

You're not bricked at all, calm down. Aroma crashes all the time and you just didn't finish the rom installation. Go back into recovery, wipe everything and flash it again. To turn the phone off, plug it into your PC and type 'adb reboot' and then hold down power and volume down as it is rebooting.

My HTC One won't boot

Hello all please help i have a problem with my htc one rooted
i was try to install some third party app to change my battery % into my htc .zip that i read from xda, into recovery mode, and this the first time my phone got stuck on HTC one logo after reboot. and i try to get into recovery mode not working it getting into HTC one logo again .
and i try to factory reset not working either to boot into factory mode ((
i have no idea what wrong ..
if any of you have an idea please help Thank you
since i list my devices it still show up on command

Keep holding the power button and the volume down button and you will eventually get to the recovery to restore your backup or install another ROM.

Be more clear i wrote this again

i try to install some third party app form xda forum into factory mode (file .zip )
when i boot it stuck on HTC logo.
i haven't seen this issue before, but now i can't get my phone working
try to get back into factory mode but not work, it redirect to HTC one logo again
so i decide to clear catch upload twrp into phone now i can get into factory mode
and THEN clear cache and try to reboot but no luck
LAST try to factory reset it show me that E:Unable to mount '/data' (like in pic)
now i have no idea what to do.

For anyone to understand what your problem is it is necessary to have the correct terms.
Is your HTC One unlocked/rooted/s-off?
Are you running a custom ROM or are you stock?
Is a custom recovery installed?
Can you get into the bootloader (pressing power and Vol - at the same time whne the phone is off - or first pressing power button for 15 sec with screen buttons flashing to initiate a re-boot)?
Big issue is that when clicking your link a get a massive warning in my browser!
So basically, with the info you gave I am not able to figure what your issue is or how to help you, and the warning is suspicious!

htc one m7 802d not booting up after some cleaner killed all applications

I have htc one 802d Indian dual sim edition, which was working perfectly fine -as I use more than 200 apps it was slow - some cleaner actually was suggesting me to clean background apps to free ram . I clicked on it & it was killing background apps & temporary files .
After that it got automatically reboot, & since then I'm trying everything nothing is working to bring device back to previous mode.
1) kept on pressing power button , it gives htc screen but device get freezed & then turns off automatically
2) tried power button + volume up , it gives same result as in pt 1
3) tried power button + volume down , it gives me access to fast boot , recover , hard reset - but when selecting any of this option screen gets freezed & it remains in same condition for many minutes nothings happens .
I'm really worried about my data in internal memory as it's almost 24gb of data in it - even recovery or hard reset option is also not working that is bit of surprize to me ..
how to get phone back to working condition with the help of connecting it to computer through some software reset or directly without that ?

As I dont have another phone , and it was working absolutly fine unless and untill one cleaner did some glitch
I tried following image with PN07IMG name in root of memory card but it's saying it's old version when booting from memory card

guys expecting your reply on above mentioned issue. I'm not able to find any working solution . It's XDA forum - so I'm 1000% sure that some one can resolve this issue also.

I don't mind even trying custom rom - but I'm from India & holding dual sim version of M7 802d - so please guide me for recovery.
on 23rd August is my birth day & I don't have my device working - which is sad sad sad part for me.

If yes, bit to bootloader menu (power+ Vol down)
Start recovery
Select to format whole data partition.
If that doesn't help, you'll maybe need to try to find a whole firmware for your device and flash it through fastboot

thx for reply , no I don't have custom rom installed - I have tried to install through stock image from memory card as mentined in my post - but that is booting into img and after some time it asks me to reboot - then again nothing happens ..
Not able to fast boot or select recovery or factory reset - I can move between them using volume key but when selecting on any option power key it gets hang nothing happens even I kept my device in that position for 8 hours in charging .
I don't know what has happened .. I'm ok trying anything on this phone , what I want is get my device working b4 23rd august on my birthday atleast ..
waiting for solution or something to try from xda forum .. I'm sure it will get resolved in this grp..
I'm ok even trying ubuntu or sailfish or any cynogen etc custom rom but atleast it should work properly.

Custom recovery and custom ROM is a different thing.
Google for TWRP for your device type and flash that in fastboot mode
Afterwards select recovery in bootloader

how to do it when it without installing that app - as I googled we have to install application of TWRP , or just have to put img of same in memory card and boot from it with recovery ?

You download the image
Boot your device into fastboot
Connect to pc
Flash recovery with fastboot (fastboot flash recovery 'path to your img')
Boot recovery from the Bootloader menu

@luckydaks There is virtually no development for the dual sim variant of the M7, don't really know which rom you are going to flash but it will most likely be a very old version. What is your "fastboot getvar all" ? There is at least 1 RUU newer than the one you've tried.

9Lukas5 my phone doesnt enter into fastboot, factory reset or recovery - once power button is selected it gets hang at that screen.

I know that, what is your "fastboot getvar all" output? There is a newer RUU than 6.14.720.4 that might fit on your phone.

hope so that will work with my 802d Indian version of M7 dual sim phone

problem is my device is getting hang at fastboot , recovery , factory reset when I'm selecting one of them through volume key and then power button . nothing happens after that for hours it remains there only ..

If your device hangs on starting bootloader and selecting fastboot (what I can't really believe), we can't help you, sorry.

I tried latest ruu zip from memory card it says it's wrong - even tried older one it says it's older 1

it boots sometimes showing flashing then ask for reboot and then nothing happens screen hang at htc logo for 2 min then turn off ..

The other ruu is also older than your actual version so it will not flash unless you can edit your version-main # from the /misc partition (which requires to be able to boot in a custom recovery). If the bootloader freeze when selecting any options then there is high chances that something got corrupt and without a stable bootloader there's nothing you can do. You will need at least to be able to unlock and flash a recovery.

now how work on bootloader ? bcoz I want to make this phone working asap & u likely have solution for the same.

Butterfly S run to home screen then reboot - unrooted

Hi Guys, I come to the point where I need help please, I have very long experience in rooting but this issue I could't fix and/or find a solution for it since the 901S is unrooted there is no EXE RUU not been touched. This is my wife phone and I had same issue with main a year ago but since my phone was rooted I could fix it.
The issue is when the phone start rebooting by it self at once, nothing was done to cause that like installation app or what so ever. It start and when reach home screen, few sec it reboot from 0.
phone data: S-On, Hboot-1.61.0000, Radio 4t.31.3218.26, oS-5.16.709.4
I have tried this:
-Unlocking with unlock_code.bin, is give me the yes/no screen when I click yes it reboot to stock recovery then nothing, (it show the message about missing E bitmap)
-uploading rom stock or any other didn't work, not by using fastboot or any other method I know.
-run into save mode help give few more secs but nothing, it reboot here too
-factory reset from device didn't work as I click okay but it keep resetting.
-order *#*#3424#*#* and factory reset also nothing.
-the device memory is 95% full, I tried to format data or system or from fastboot or by deleting files also nothing get deleted all stock and after restart I see ever thing like it was.
any suggestion here?
