Right Align Clock Mod for BO 2.0 - LG Revolution

Hey Guys. I really don't like the center clock that comes with the Broken Out Rom, so I created this mod to align the clock to the right. This zip is made to flash over a BO 2.0 only, and will work regardless if you installed the BO 2.0.1 patch or not.
To install:
1. Save the zip to your sd card
2. Boot into CWM
3. Install zip
4. Reboot
Installing will automatically wipe dalvik and cache, so you don't have to do it manually.
All this install will do is move the clock to the right side of the notification bar. It shouldn't change anything else, but if you currently have a theme on your phone, this will change most of the theme back to stock BO 2.0.
RightAlignClockMod.zip
Oh, and always, thanks to MT for making this phone amazing! I had nothing to do with BO 2.0, this is simply modifying the location of the clock.

Status bar disappeared after installing...

Hmm... sorry about that. It worked for me. If you flash BO 2, then the patch, you'll be back to normal. Before that, maybe you could wipe dalvik and cache again? I'm trying to think of reasons the status bar would disappear...
Have you installed any theme, new music player or made tweaks with rom toolbox pro?

Yeah, I'm not sure went wrong, I dled the zip from my box, flashed it again, and it still works fine for me...

Worked for me.

Worked great for me with V8 and BO 2.0.1.

Worked perfectly, thanks for finding this

Edit: Nevermind I was able to get it working, first I cleared Data/Cache/Dalvik x3 and then installed CM6.1.1, once I installed CM6.1.1 I booted the phone into CM6.1.1 so that it would Cache, then I rebooted into CWM and flashed the theme (NOTE: not clearing the Cache and using the Cache that was then created for CM6.1.1 after it booted), both zips also seem to work (w animations + w/o animations) but I prefer it w/o animations.

Doesn't work for me. Tried with and without flashing framework.zip. also tried clearing davlik cache. The boot takes unusually long and the status bar is gone. Copying back the original files

Won't work for me, flashed "with music"... without flashing framework I got a bootloop, with framework it booted but the statusbar was missing.
Wiped Dalvic Cache as suggested, some other step I might have missed? Or asked another way, can anyone confirm this working?
Running the leaked 20E and GoLauncher.

I would recommend you flash what you need from this, and then take customization further via the UOT kitchen.

ROM toolbox theme manager

Was playing around in ROM toolbox and found a theme manager area with all kinds of goodies. There are different animation packs that cab be installed directly from the app. I found one that works great with this phone (some of them make the status bar fc). It's called psynshift. The animations are butter smooth and look great. Made my phone transitions look awesome!
Anyways, check it out if your interested. Naturally, no credit to me, all goes to the devs.
Have fun!

You can get some of them from the free version. The psyntist animations are available on the free version.
Make sure you back up the stock animations first because some them cause the status bar to fc

There's no need to find the files and back them up on your phone. When you go to install one of the themes, it asks you to back up your current one. Just make sure you tap yes when it asks you to backup

He said some of them cause your Status Bar to FC so the one you have makes yours FC. Just keep trying other ones and see which ones work and don't.

[Kernel]Stock LG V9 Kernel

Once again, here we go. ********{this for the V9 software update. you can check software versions from the settings, about phone menu from your revo}***********
################################ FLASH AT YOUR OWN RISK ##############################
Got the stock kernel from the latest LG/Verizon update V9.
Enjoy!!!!!
Download
Instructions: Download, boot cwm, flash, roboot, cook dinner, shower, do some laundry, save the world..... :victory: Have fun!!!!!!
## REMEMBER: give things time to settle. Things will get better, with the exception of horse power
NOTE: installation will wipe dalvik-cache. First boot will be looooooooooong, and mostly blank. Don't get scared. The stock 4G boot ani plays then screen goes blank for looooooooooooooong boot. Working on the boot ani thing.
****Any issues, Holla****
Edit: for some unknown reason, at least to me, your boot ani will be erased. Reinstalling does not work. Working on fix.
Edit: super user might have issues after installation. CWM 6.0.1.1 detected the error and corrected it for me. If you don't get an error on 'su' from cwm, then just reboot like normal and you 'may' have to reroot. easy work-around for now Does not affect cwm..
I haven't tried it but I aim to. Getting rid of the stock boot sound (annoying and obtrusive) would be great! Thanks for sharing your work.

Does this work with both the stock ROM and Broken Out? And would it interfere with a future ota update?
Thanks for your work!

Will this work if still on v8?
I'd make a back up first, but I don't see why not. There wasn't that much of a difference from v8 to v9. Let me know if you run into problems, if you try it. I'm just curious.

Both Titanium Back up and ROM Manager Pro get hung up, even after re-installing them, and I already got a screen freeze lol, guess its back to blitz. I'll try this again if I ever update to v9
Idk. I don't think it has anything to do with clock speed. I'm beginning to think vod is just a revo issue.

But I still get screen freeze, but no VOD.

Not sure if this is an isolated incident but after using this stock kernel, I got Superuser (Elite installed) lockup and FC'ing. I couldn't get any root app to work. SU binary is latest v3.1.1 (17). I reverted to my latest BO v2.0 nandroid and all is fine again.
Only recent change I could think of prior was an updated Root Explorer which was coincidentally the first root program I attempted after. It err'd saying it was waiting for SU access and needed to be restarted, but that changed nothing. Neither did clearing SU and SU Elite data.

Honestly, now that you mention it I did notice that. Now that I look through the cwm logs, I see I had a su error while flashing. Apparently, the new cwm fixed it. Hmmm. Same for the wifey.
Good to know that root is still attainable.

Quick question. I followed the directions, going to cwm and installing this zip. When it comes back on, I go to about phone and it still shows it's on zv7. Is it ok to install the latest broken out revo, or is it safe to assume it didn't actually install zv9? I was previously on gingervolt zv7, any suggestions?
PS thanks for providing this btw!

[Q] jellybean 3g/4g icon fix doesn't work

I've downloaded and flashed several zip files meant to fix the 3g/4g bug in the exhibit 4g with cyanogenmod10. I'm running the Slimbean ROM. Why can't I get the fix to work? I load it onto my external sd. I then reboot to recovery. I flash the zip file and reboot, and the fix does not seem to take effect. Help!
The fix does not work for themes, if you are using a theme then that's why, only some themes actually have the 4g icons themed. Iced phone and crystal2 both have 4g icons not sure about others

Maybe I'm doing it wrong. I downloaded it. I copied it to my external sd card. I installed it using Clockwork Mod, flashing the zip using the Install From External SD Card command. No good. Still shows either 3g, or sometimes a capital H. What the heck? I live in a heavily saturated 4g city so it's not that I'm standing in a bad coverage zone. Help!

I'm using Slimbean. How do I know the version of clockwork mod I'm using? In what file folder would I find that?
The icon fix does work and I am using twrp not cwm. The thing with the icon fix is the theme might not support the 4g icons as cm10 uses the h icon in place of 4g icon. Stock theme in cm9/10 with fix does work. In jellybean extreme cm10 theme it doesn't because unsupported. Switch back to stock theme using theme chooser and it should show as 4g.
