To all you Kaiser owner out there.
First of all, this is my first post.
But here it is, I'm trying to create a theme for my Kaiser (WM6.1), but I can't get it the way I want it. Because I don't know if it's possible.
I made a template with photoshop, to see if you guys out there can help me make it, or even tell me if it's possible.
It's kinda the UI of mac... and the top bar where clock wifi sound etc is...I want those 'icons' to be blue...
I;ve tried a lot of programs out there...
themegen etc...and I did search the forums..
thanks for any input...

Hi, not sure if that's possible or not since the top icons reside on ROM. If you look for them you will find the icons on the windows directory on the Pocket PC. Maybe you can edit them to something else and cook a new rom with those edited icons. But I doubt they will show in blue color since they need to be monochromatic.
Why don't you just use WisBar Advance Desktop since there are already tons of different themes including OSX ones.
Cheers!

thanks for your reply,
Yes I know it's kindda impossible, and there reason why I don't use wisbar, is because I want a free software.
but there isn't another choice
thanks to the creator of the respective software, my XDA 2 now works like an iPHONE with the following applications installed on it:
iFonz -> Iphone icons for applications which fully costimizable
iContact -> iphone interface for your contacts
s2u2-> slide to unlock
s2uv->view pictures with iphone interface
s2up->audio player with iphone interface
other plugins like iphone keyboard can also be downloaded somewhere for free
can u upload these softwares ?

all of these apps are available free on this forum - Search!
i think it would be best if you could post the files here so as to help others immediately and give them instructions on how to go about making their XDA pretend to be iphone, or have iphone-like interface.
by the way, iphone like keyboard = PocketCM keyboard, use Iphone layout and skin.

I do understand, it really took me some time to collect this apps so it would be my pleasure to get you off that hunting process.
as I've said:
s2u2 -> slide to open interface of iphone
s2v-> slide to view picture viewer
gslide-> sliding file explorer (not that good though)
s2p-> audio player iphone interface
icontact-> sliding contacts
iFonz-> iphone icon interface fully customizable
ipodclassic-> iphone interface for phone (instead of the default phone skin when you call -> i dont know if this was the one
there are few more files i was supposed to upload but it seems uploads are limited.
I used to have the wm6.1 black edition but if found out that these apps work better on wm6 toflock
try it and please give me feed backs or if you have a latest version of these apps, would you mind, sharing it?
thanks
ENjoy!

here are the additional files
pcmkeyboard-> iphone keyboard
custome iphone icons-> additional iphone icons. i can't uploaded when it was in .rar so I just added .zip, i just renamed instead of re-compressing it. so just rename and remove .zip before you extract. for additional icons, you can just google it or create your own. I have another file which iphone_en, i think this file was for the phone interface but it's 2mb so i can't uploaded.
The first file i uploaded which was last fiel in the first post, the iphone classic is supposed to be iphone_en, anyway just check it out.
in behalf of those people who downloaded, THANK YOU, im still sticking to my my modified RL Today, SPB Mobile Shell and SPB Pocket Plus for my today.
hey folks, how about some screen shots on how IPHONE your XDA now is. i seen about 20 downloads on the average, so screenshots anyone?

I really wanted to post screens shot even before I uploaded the files but I find it troublesome, if you don't mind, give me your emails and I'll send you a video demo instead...
Can somebody please tell me where to put the files for
- Gslide
- Icontacts
- S2p
I extracted them but im not sure what to do with them, i have used a readme for other files and they explained where to put them, but these dont say where to place/paste to.
Help would be appreciated
Where to put
Actually you can just put them anywhere but I suggest you extract them to your memory card. after that, just click on the executable file. Probably you were expecting that a link will be created on you group of programs but it But I guess it does not so you just have to create a link for that and place it in wherever you want to access it.

Great for good news..
any special order to follow?
Is there any special order you should follow when installing the above files to do the conversion?
Hi,
Anyone know what the 'resource' source is when selecting where it finds wallpapers to switch?
Also why does a wallpaper I have deleted still show up? (I suspect this is related to my first question!)
Thanks
Phil
It should lie in /system/customize/resource/
It may lie in another folder as well, but that's at least where I found them. How did you delete a wallpaper? (And what kind of wallpaper was that? A custom you had stored on the sd-card or one of the stock ones?)
I meant deleted one of my own from the SD card.
Can see few images used by the default Hero screens, wonder why is there an MP3 in the resource folder? TTMN_MP3_30_SEC.mp3
Don't recall anything using that yet!
Curious
I believe it's the startup tune..
It's strange that a wallpaper you have used is still listed...
I just recently got myself a G1 and really happy with it.
I rooted and installed Cyanogen 6 RC3 which appears to be working good - had it running for a few days now.
Personally i dont like the default ringtones and would like to use my own MP3 ringtones.
Secondly, i would like to change the font, have seen screenshots from other users who have done this.
Question is how do you add ringtones and change the fonts?
Thanks for the help.
I would suggest that you update to Cyanogen 6 stable.
For ring tones the easiest way is to just and them on your sd card.
Make a folder called media\audio\ringtones, media\audio\alarms, media\audio\notifications.
Just put your ring tones etc. in the appropriate folders.
As for the font I don't know.
Thanks for your help on the ringtones.
Dont suppose you know easiest method to put music onto the sd card as well?
add a folder called music or what ever....
Can't remember if a reboot will re-scan or if it is in the music app to rescan.
I think a reboot will scan and find it automagically.

Hey so I'm thinking, yeh love the new highlights thing with the ability to use my own music etc but.... Where the bloody hell have all the old themes etc gone? Anyone know if there's a port for the old album.apk or if we can find a way to mesh the old and the new? Thanks in advance.

I forget the directory, but you can copy them all from the folder they're saved in. I used to edit them to make my own themes before.
