this the problem with my xperia x8:
Help me please
I have a Brick Xperia X8, my Xperia Stuck on "Sony Ericsson" after I turn on my device. my Xperia has been rooted for GingerDX . i was already using GINGERDX V22. but when i tried to install GINGERDX V28 it got screwed up :crying: and my xperia stuck in "Sony Ericsson" after I do full wipe and format system(because i already done many install and uninstall application).
if I charge my xperia through original charger, it only stuck on "Sony Ericsson" and the LED not flame.
I have tried using SEUS, PCC and Flashtool, but my Xperia cannot response while connecting usb cable and press back button. the program keep requesting for connecting usb cable and press back button. but the LED green is on
The Big Problem is " My Xperia won't response after the program request for connecting usb cable and press back button" that command always like that, even I connect usb cable to my phone and press back button. either in SEUS, PCC, Flashtool even in S1toll.i have tried mutiple install/uninstall of USB drivers....nothing works.tried in both windows XP and Windows 7.i cant think my day without my x8
I have tried to use Reelock bootloader(S1tool), but my xperia could not response too. either I click Identity, Flash or Restore. I have tried Gordon's Gate to reset my usb port, but my computer always hang when I connected USB cable and press back button.
Please, what can I do to save my Xperia X8......when i'm connecting my x8 to pc via USB the green light is on. so i hope x8 is not fully dead:angel::angel:.
one more imp note i must mention: when i m connecting my phone in flash mode(i.e turn off x8...hold back button and plug in usb) phone is not detected....but strangely...when my x8 is stuck at 'sony ericssion' at dat time if i m connecting my phone to pc PCC pops up with message'x8 connected' but nothing happens after that...plz plzz plzz save my phone!!!!!!!this is my very first post in XDA:fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:

Is something showed on device manager when you try to connect in flashmode?
Maybe the problem its driver related. Also to make sure is not, try flashmode in another computer.

okay...
if you're still confuse, downgrade your phone!
its last option
downgrade into 2.1 - download this file from files crop X8 E15i 2.1.1.C.0.0._un.ftf
root your phone by flash tool..
then install xrecovery by clicking cross icon on flashtool
OR
download this file (password=cintaindonesia) and extract in your SDcard
after that copy paste three files(busybox, chargemon, xrecovery.tar) in system\bin
and you will get xrecovery
after that
unlock bootloader using flashtool OR s1tool
Flash the latest ICS kernel
backup
factory reset, wipe data, etc
Flash ROM
done!

Have u installed gordon gate drivers?
First connect phone then hold press back button untill green light show. Then check if windows recognized it.
Then remove battery.
Go to flash tool select the ftf u want to flash then wait until the dialog appear. Then connect phone (if u unplug before) insert battery hold press back till green light show, now it should be flash

sometimes its happen cz :
- drivers not installed correctly (x8 drivers and gordon)
- make sure your unlock BL process work successfully
- check all your hardware connection (cable, usb, etc)
don't forget to have > 60% battery
have you install the driver from /driver folder on the flashtool installed folder??
and dont forget to check the X8 ADB driver and fastboot / flashboot whatever LOL
just check that 2 thing and you shouldnt get any problem
Hey install the gorden gates driver provided with flastool and try again.....

I will describe what programs showing because i have polish version and maybe you can't understand them:
When i'm trying to connect to pc companion when pc recognise phone i'm geting message PC companion could not connect with device disconnect device and try again
When trying do sof/hard reset nothing happens
When trying to pull in fastboot or flash mode pc recognise phone always the same in conrtol panel ZEUS FLASH device pc also recognise in thisa mode without battery and without pushing any buttons but i'm not geting any led Green or blue only when i'm conecting charger or usb cable WITHOUT battery it blinks red ones
When i'm trying to flash with flashtool or original update service when program is on screen asking me to connect the device i plug usb pc recognising the phone (usb connected device sound) but program doesn't start to flash or even recognise
i have also setool when i'm trying to flash by setool when program is waiting for device connecting bar is moving on down side of window when i connect the phone it is stoping like it tries to connect but nothing happens....
i was thinking to try this but i have cheked battery voltage and it is 3,88 so i thing it is fully charged:
Here are the steps I took successfully revise my phone from soft brick.
Let the phone charge (long long time = 4+ hrs) on wall charger.
Red light on (constantly - not flashing) - charge until red light off (again very long time =16+ hrs)
Unplug from wall
Run flashtool from PC and run flash .111 until it asks to put phone in flashmode
While hold volumn down and plug in USB
Red light will be back on, after a few seconds - flash will run.
Unplug USB then power on - phone will boot and die (it's okay don't worry)
Charge the phone again - after a while (or let it charge full), you can now turn on the phone.
That is all ... Back and running.
GOOD Luck.
Timing = could be different from phone to phone - depends on battery of the phone before it dead.
please do you have any idea? for me it hangs in some kind of boot mode and i don't know how to kick it fromthis and reflash if any screens can help please tell me i will do them

OK,
Yes thats true but it sounds similar to a problem I have come across before. But this happened when someone flashed the S1 update on the TX instead of the T.
Have you unistalled evrything android/sdk/adb related from your computer and started again.
Also, you can try another machine.
Are you on win8? That has issues with drivers from Sony.

I dont know where testpoint is on xperia T as we have never been down that road here.
Has he tried to use EMMA to flash something? That is meant only for unlocked bootloaders, maybe he has messed up with that, but I am onl guessing here and i cant really see why that would do anything to the boot...
Maybe he tried to flash it, dropped it, broke it, and thinks a software hack can help him....

I am in an awkward situation.
xperia z, 4.2.2 244 rooted stock rom, bootloader locked, usb debug mode off, recovery not installed.

I cannot use PC Companion to repair because the software said that "Sony update engine doesn't have software available for your phone".

You can use Flashtool to flash stock rom, doesn't matter if usb debug mode is on or off (only needed to install recovery or to root)
Download stock rom, install flashtool + drivers and follow screen instructions.. Good Luck! :good:
J have the same problem, yesterday j installed cyanogenmod, now xperia Z was on SONY logo and j can't flash original firmware on flashtool, j can only flash original kernel, but is still on sony logo
SUS says that hasn't new firmware for my phone.
What can j do ????
Thanks in advance

yes, you are right. Yesterday I check everything on the right panel and it does not work. Today I leave all option unchecked and flash properly. Many thanks anyway.

Just follow the flashtool instruction and re-flash the stock rom first, everything will return to unroot stated. Reroot then and try again.

The above didn't work for me because I received error based on my type of phone.
This guide however did help: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2240614
I had to reboot windows to a settings to enable unsigned drivers. Installed Flashtool and it's drivers,
First unlocked the bootloader(BLU button, got the IMEI, used the sony form (http://unlockbootloader.sonymobile.com/instructions))
Then I downloaded the stock sony xperia z ftf image, placed it in Flashtool's firmware folder, then flashed it (flash device > flash mode).
Now my phone's working again.

If you still can enter custom recovery, you only need flash rom and (with) suitable kernel.
If not, you need Flashtool.
- make sure you have the newest version of flashtool and driver
- connect your phone to pc.
- when computer show error about usb not recognized, go to computer management - device manager. Find something in universal serial bus controller list that have yellow triangle and exclamation mark. right click and remove it
- disconnect your phone then reboot your pc
- install flashtool and driver, reboot pc again
- connect your phone to pc. Now, it should detect your phone.
- do flashing procedure

Have you tried the hard reset button?
Under the flap next to where the sim goes, is a tiny hole. You need a pin to press and reset.
Edit: Do you have ADB installed? Have you installed the Sony drivers. on your PC?
You also need to run the exe in the Drivers folder within Flashtool, to make sure you have correct flashomde drivers available. Installing these drivers is very difficult in Windows 10 and it require restarting the machine in safe mode, and going into the advanced settings to disable driver signature checking, this how to video is for windows 8, but you'll get the idea
All of those need to be in place before flashtool will work.
Does it go into flashmode? Make sure it's turned off, start flashtool on your pc, then hold the volume down while plugging in the usb cable. If flashtool recognises it then you can follow bilboa1's great guide. You will probably have to start from scratch, old firmware, root exploit, recovery etc etc.

Thread here lists installing QHSUSB driver, worth a go perhaps?
There is a thread dedicated to rescuing hardbrick devices

Exactly the same happened to me this morning. I had not time so I left it and came back at midday. After trying to reset it many times it finally turned on (maybe 15 min trying), but the USB port completely died... Then I notices son humidity in the two cameras crystals. The phone was working great, I even play asphalt 8 for 20 min and nothing wrong happened. I've just sent it to repair. Tech guy told my that maybe the motherboard is compromised.
The only thing I can surely tell you is keep trying, it worked for me.
