was to ask for help but I forgot to put it is that I can not use S2E on my galaxy mini and would like to help me to expand the memory of the mobile

i have s2e installed in my cm9 here is tutor:
To make S2E working for CM9 I did the following:
1a) copy "05mountsd" and "20userinit" to \system\etc\init.d\ (by Root Explorer)
1b) change their permissions as that of file "90userinit" (rwxrwxrwx)
in \system\etc\init.d\
2) delete "90userinit" (as replaced by 20userinit)
3a) copy "S2E.apk" to \system\app\ or install it from Google Play
3b) change its permissions to rw-r--r--
4) reboot
Enable and set S2E as usual but I never enable "Mount as ext4" in the Settings as it always corrupt the sd-ext partition.
The above works for me!
Nb: you can put "05mountsd" and "20userinit" from cm7( dont put from cyanmobile) i take it from new experience rom from autoradio78
+ i put it on attachment

[Q] Stock ROM with script support

Hello all,
I'm looking for help. I just cant find a stock based rom with script support. I googled allot and tried many roms.
I just need a European 2.3.6 ROM that allow me to install scripts (kernel/init.d support).

Better flash a stock based cutom ROM. GingerMod 4.0 has almost no mods, so it looks like the stock. You will have stock apps and all that stuff, but you will have init.d support. No one is really working on new stock ROM kernel.

GingerMod 4.0 is stable and it's based on 2.3.6.

Tks. I just finished to try the GM 4.0, but I don't like it. I just need a way to install SlaidyBoost-V2.3 or Adrenaline™ Engine scripts.

There are some other stock based ROMs. Try emanon v7 or more 1.4. But you can't install theese scripts for stock ROM.

I checked those two roms. They have sooo many things added. Overclocks and lots of things that I just don't need. I guess I will need to keep searching.

OK. Now i have acess to init.d, but I cant install the "Adrenaline_Engine_4.4" via CWM, since I cant mount /system and /data.
How do I install the script? I added a attach with what's inside the zip file.
In the end, can i remove the terminal and box apps?
Sorry for all the questions, but I only entered the android world two days a go.

Well I gave "su" and "mount power" to the ES File Explorer
Extracted the script.zip to a folder and copied that 3 folders to the "/" performing merge.
This is the solution?

Dude... Actually don't do it....
If you don't understand Linux don't DO a merging on "/" filesystem.
Here, listen....
1. If you want a init.d tweaks install a Custom ROM, doing it in Stock ROM will cause some errors, since NO Developer in here using stock ROM, so no one can help you with that errors
2. You need Custom Recovery to flash Adrenaline Engine, since you already do a merging scene the permission won't same.
Listen, i know you like Stock ROM, but some Stock based stock ROM is actually quite good. I know there is overclock feature you don't need JUST DON'T USE it if you don't know.

i do not want script,editing lanes on build etc ..
i just want the easy way,i mean the .zip file which needs flashing and voila

You need to edit build.prop.
Add these lines at the end of the file:

i restored the build.prop so i dont have the mod i done..
could you send me the right build.prop which is for swapping sd?

[MOD][odex/deodex] Superusermod [.253 fw]

I actually patched services.jar for 253 fw a while ago but I thought I should share it because I don't see any patched services.jar for this firmware.
Root needed, busybox needed.
Take nandroid backup and replace original services.jar with this one. Don't forget to rename it (remove "253") and set correct permissions (0644).
Works on odex and deodex roms.

On the other hand, u can try the one in OP first, just make nandroid backup and if u get bootloop u can restore backup.
It may just work fine on 305 fw since the changes are minor.
Let me know if it works.

If it doesn't work, check in S7 forum, maybe things are different for Sammy phones
