afaik the kernel that comes with soup can be overclocked...
if not then try AOKP Soup or CM9 both can be overclocked up to 1,6ghz!
Galaxian-Soup AOSP rom comes with motley kernel and it can be overclocked.
thanks very much, guys!!
Does anyone know of a kernel I could flash on the stock 2.2.3 Froyo on my wife's Droid? I don't want to flash a rom, just replace the kernel for a little overclocking.

Primes kernel is about as good as it gets when it comes to overclocking and great features.
Can one use Incredicontrol with these? And which (Primed or Deprimed) would you recommend for stability?

I have not personally used Incredicontrol, so I can not confirm whether it works or not, but for prime's kernel I would recommend using Milestone OC (Milestone OC Tutorial). For stability I would go with Deprimed.
which program i use to clock my o2x? i have rooted ics v30b (india)
setcpu doesnt work
You can't overclock with the stock kernel. Go to the development section and pick a custom ICS kernel, then you will be able to overclock.

You can try kob 0.5, or civz kernels....but if you have no init.d support....not sure if all the functions would....
Better do a nandroid backup and then try this.....just to be safe
O2X with Magical ICS ROM and magnificent kernels from my buddies

Try CivZ SkyWalker, you can OC up to 1.5Ghz (but it's too high, i recommend 1.3 Ghz) and you can OC your GPU up to 400Mhz.

If you install my kernel init.d is supported and the needed files are installed, but the user of a full stock rom will need to install busybox and be rooted .

GPU scales itself to max 450MHz it is not something the user controls. Read info in kernel thread.

^^^ This the only thing I've done with it is up the minimum GPU frequency in kernel adiutor because I feel it makes everything just that little bit smoother.
I need a good OC kernel for my Mi5(32GB) running MIUI 8. I dont want to leave from MIUI. But i need to OC my CPU as it is under-clocked version
So will "DragonXia Kernel v3.7" works on MIUI? If not then please suggest me similar kernel for MIUI. Or you can suggest me ROM which will work with 'DragonXia Kernel v3.7'.
Thanks
