Seriously kid, how aren't you banned/suspended yet? You already have 3 threads in this section (moved here no less), whining and crying about how you need the perfect rom. STOP THE SPAM.
There is no perfect rom, as I've said in your other threads. There is ESPECIALLY no such thing as a perfect Sense ROM for the N1. If you want perfect sense, get a desire. Maybe then you'll see that even Google and HTC don't put out roms without bugs.

BinDroid ROM Coming Soon, Need Assistance

Hello XDA, the last few weeks have been a little crazy around here and we lost some great devs. As a result I've gotten the bug to mod ICS myself. I am on the BinDroid team but for the last 6 months have been working two jobs and I have two toddlers so my dev time have been almost zero. Anyway, I have been working with DutchDanny (he does all of the images for BinDroid) over the last few days and have the beginnings of a BinDroid Vivid ROM.
I have a pretty thick skin but hopefully the drama won't be to bad. That being said I am still working two jobs so once the first beta comes out updates might be slow. As long as you can deal with that BinDroid might work for you.
I do need a little assistance to get the beta complete. Neither frameworkres.apk or SystemUI.apk will recompile properly, even without modification they will not recompile. I tried using UOT Kitchen as a shortcut, but it can't recompile the files either. Is there a dev out there that has had any success decompiling and recompiling those two apks? I just need to mod a few XML's and add a few new one to get some animations going.
If anyone has any dev or mod experience and you would lik to help, that will speed up the updates Danny doesn't have a Vivid so he is working on the Sensation XE right now.

I'm sure we will all be patient with your work. Most of us understand and are grateful for any type of development at all and welcome all of it. Honestly, you don't have a lot to worry about, our vivid section isn't too bad. There were only a few rotten apples that ruined it for everyone. Can't wait to see what you have in store.

Ah, thank you bananacakes, this looks promising. I couldn't get passed the error with the "<anim name="htc_ime_decelerate_interpolator">@anim/zzz_htc_ime_decelerate_interpolator</anim>" file.
I will give this a try when the kids go to sleep. Thanks again.

decompile framework-res
1)Try to extract ICS_apktool.zip
2)copy two file(framework-res.apk & com.htc.resourses.apk) to apktool decompile folder
3)run to Command Prompt.bat
3)apktool if framework-res.apk
apktool if com.htc.resourses.apk
4)apktool d framework-res.apk
5)go to res/values/anims.xml
change this
<anim name="htc_ime_decelerate_interpolator">@anim/zzz_htc_ime_decelerate_interpolator</anim>
to
<item type="anim" name="htc_ime_decelerate_interpolator">@anim/zzz_htc_ime_decelerate_interpolator</item>
then..
recompile framework-res
1) copy framework-res folder to apktool compile folder
2)run to Command Prompt.bat
3) apktool b framework-res
rebuilt succeed.....

This is great to see. I used BinDroid on my Inspire at times and it was a top notch ROM.

So just out of curiosity what kind of features are you thinking of including?
'cause if you need any ideas there's a thread in the general section that's
basically only suggestions for a dev to browse over. =D

There shouldn't be anymore drama since the banhammer threat has been made, I doubt there will be people risking getting band, yet again, the Vivid forum is filled with noobs

haha yeah. I avoid PMing the OP's. It's kind of rude. They put in so much effort into writing the instructions and people ignore it, flash the way they flashed on other phones and brick their machines. I come from the Inspire so I've used the Bindroid roms before. It was smooth but sometimes it was heavy on the ram. It could get me as low as 90 mb. The Vivid is much more powerful and once someone sets the clock speed back to 1.5 Ghz it will be much better.

We will start with a clean stable BD themed ROM. I already added an extended quick settings menu. We are looking into the extended power menu. Hoping to get the beta out very soon. I am thinking of doing a prerelease so maybe we can get it tested first since I don't have a full Vivid team right now.

What happened to Free Optimus Project?!

The development of CM9 seems to be stopped. I don't mean to rush the developers, I just wanna know if it's going to be continued.

They are busy with IRL stuff.
But IMO since one of the members lost his OB the project is pretty slow and I mean to my compatriot Oscar.

I'm in the free optimus team and so far i can say , we have not stopped dev'ing.
We have few problems to deal with and some of us are busy on RL or work.
We are taking care of all the bugs .
Also all of the dev's of our team have almost a own rom (on gb) to update.

and the bugs are not you want to fix that it can be fixed . They need the time and some luck. and what the big problem is that TI 3630 aren't support ICS now and the future it is hard to say . so I think The ICS need more time . just trust them can bring ICS to us.

Dont trust us I am simply too busy with university and private life (ever heard of it? ) Thats why there are no news. I already stated that somewhere in the CM9 thread, just look it up

So may you post or upload the update?!

Upload what update? There is none, since all devs are busy in real life/lost their phone...

a lot are searching for the "hole" to root his device, but currently they have not found it ....
i also try and search, no luck (android hacking is a new area for me) ... so we have to wait

yeah,, i love flashing my phone on s2. love this 4x however being unable to flash is making me feel sad of the device. hopefully someone can manage to root it and ill definitely send my token of appreciation for that effort. gonna stay a while more on it before thinking if i should just jump back samsung wagon.

Seeing the one x get cm10 with jb and gs3 getting jelly bean makes me jealous but I'm trying to hold out cuz this phone is really nice

i believe we need to have some real linux hackers around, and the internet is full of people trying to hack the new kernels.
i saw a thread some weeks ago, that guy might be able to help us. i will try and search for the webpage again and link to it.

I read somewhere that mike1986 will release a Rom for it.
But it all depends if the devs cone over that know how to unlock etc.

I think, the team Skydragon (i'm a part of it)(Chef dev for Stripped Rom (secXces) to maximum without bugs (i try it x)) try the Htc m7 too. :>

you ll probably see several team venom members on the gsm version and the sprint version
started the m0narx donation drive on venomroms.com, cuz with all the stuff thats missing (imo) from sense5, hes the best bet to right some wrongs software wise

My toolkit will be released for this phone. Don't worry about that
I may jump to this phone if I can save up for it. We shall see. Broke college students can't always have fancy gadgets anymore lol

That's a tad negative towards team venom.
The reason behind getting m0narX a phone is not for bounty or payment. Its so that he can develop venom tweaks for it, because he is the master/leader of team venom
Its a donation for his support and the development of the ROM, not a donation for bounty or just for money. The money will be used to buy monarx's phone
S-off is usually bounty, where the person collects money for what they've done

no one is obligating you to do anything, if you want to donate to s-off then do so

Nothing beats the feeling of having the best devs in the industry(yep in the industry coz all these OEM guys keep f**ken up) sign up for Ur device...I bet the GSM version will get s-off first, cos these carriers I don't trust em.....salute guys its great to see u here
