(Q). Miui on tattoo?

Is it possible to port miui to tattoo. I think It is a very nice rom..
And froyo is already ported to tattoo.
Im just trying some stuff myself too in the kitchen ( but im just an noob in programming.. )

Is very difficult port MIUI on a QVGA device.. the ui should be rescaled and effects reduced to work smoothly on a tattoo

this is not source..is already compiled for n1 and desire

I don't think the source is open, which makes it even harder.

i have terminated the porting of the miui rom. A lot of users know that i am without tattoo and i can't test my roms.
I will post the download link for anyone want try if the rom is working.

Your rom ends in a bootloop..
I tried porting miui to tattoo myself a bit, but it hangs completly after bootanimation.
Where there some devs with the needed knowledge to port miui to tattoo?
If so we could try to build a little crew and maybe the devs of miui could help us with some sourcecode..

Thanks for testing. Is impossible made miui rom without the sources. You can only try to porting it from another device but this i possible only with similar device...i have try to use a deodexed rom for n1.
Another solution is try to import only some features of miui.
I have take a rapid look at the files of miui and i think that some apk and some libs can be easy ported to tattoo.
If someone near venice can give me his tatto for a week i can start to made some try and take a look at the camera problem of the last cm6

Glad that some one gave a shot to port MIUI,
However without source open, it must be a pain to work with it.
I just found that, Jacob and others are trying to port it to wildfire without much success so far
hope you can get some help from there.

I think we should ask all over dear developers/rom porters for all the roms we want for our devices.
Here is mine list
1. Ligux V4 - Elol (Pending)
2. Qiss me - GOT IT - Thanks to Abenagiel
3. codename next update
4. icecoldsandwich next update - GOT IT-Thanks to elol (eagerly waiting for 8.5 update)
5. miui v4 - GOT IT
6. Jelly bean - tHanks to ardx
7. DXROM by abenagiel (Pending)
EDIT : Now we have paranoid android (thanks to aeoi) and soon going to have mockee 1.10 (thanks to abenagiel)
We all can add the list of the roms we want so that the developers may know which are the most desirable roms

for mokee os,, the official rom still not release yet for v4..

I am proud to be a part of this community, all devs and porters working here out of own interest and sharing both knowledge and roms. However, having a wishlist or top ten is not my personal reason because numbers of developers / roms has one other factor: time vs. quality. Imagine yourself serving more ports, having to deal with all unacountable what, ifs and whys will put an enormous amount of workload on you. I fully rely upon what we are served because I know we will get what is most adaptable for our piece. Also, I find many roms being more or less clones of one and other.. The idea IMHO is to have a few relieable and developable steady roms than a bunch hanging in mid air...

You are absolutely right my friend.
The main motive behind my list was to have the knowledge about what all is going around and what all we can have.
our dear dev can share with us what quality stuff we can have and all the roms I talked about are being discussed in this forum.
I just tried to know what all developments we can have for all these roms.
And I asked for these just by relying on the capabilities of our dear dev.
But I am sorry If I was too demanding.

Yes earlier zuk was planning to port but I dont know what happened with that
I think elol,aben,CK, zuk or anyone of us needs to take responsibility to port that.
By the way elol said that he will port Liguxv4 (post#7 of this thread), but he is busy with some work.
Lets hope that someone may take it up.

im using ligux 3.2 by zuk so nice and tempting ,i got camera and gapps working on ligux 3.2.
im thinking ligux4 would b so nice

I was thinking about a new ICS based rom for your beloved P970 my OptiX rom
Ofcorse i thought about the modifications too (Center Clock / Camera)
Befor i can do somethink i have some questions:
Which version can i take? V30b or V30c?
Which kernel are atm a good kernel for ICS?
Who wants to be a "beta" tester?

i would like to test anything new but i dont know what is logcat or things like these but i can tell you about problems,FC's , lag , battery drain and thigs like these

I like a rom with full appearance AOSP(lockscreen, status bar, Settings, wallpapers) all the other Roms(based on stock) look very LG.
by other hand, i think CM 10 is better than V30b,c. Only left to do a rom that merge CM10 + mackay kernel 3.2 For CM10(Overclock ) + LG Cam for CM10 + Tweaks + services.jar patched For Supercharger v6 + turbo boost + Halo + Pie. if you do that i think would be one of the best rom for p970
and CM10.2(velox and oddisey) looks very promissing, almost stable.

V30B and V30C have no differences other than carrier bloatware,Stock kernel is already great or you can update it to kernel 3.0.99 for better performance.Sorry,I want a stable ROM for now,soo no testing.

I'd go to be a beta tester. First thing's first, the battery life is a must. I used Zeus 6.4 and IZS 2.. Both have good battery life when you apply the right tweaks. Goodluck and thanks in advance! ^_^

At the moment i have deodexed the rom and add busybox, root and some AOSP apps.
Now i have to writte the updater-script completely new (that could be a bit heavy), after that i will made my mods for the optimus back, too.

iam using IZS V2 and actually it has a very good kernel its 3.0.8 diana3[v0.6] its very good for battery life and it does very well for performance
