Probably a kernel issue, Try switching a different Supported Kernel, Also post in his ROM thread and / or search to see if anyone is having the issue.

Install SpeedMod 3-9 kernel - it solves both WiFi and BT issues and is excellent on battery life.
I am using it for 3 days now and still very impressed.
Notecore V4 with Criskelo 9 here and no problems with WIFI and BT.
Same problem

Hi guys,
So I read the threads that warn us about the bricking problem from official XXLPY. And they also told us to flash another safe kernel right away to avoid anything bad happen. But I could not find anything about which kernel is safe to use with this rom (except some said to flash GB kernel, and I assume they don't work with ICS?). So I'm wondering if anyone please guide me to a kernel that is usable with XXLPY (how to guide would be preferred ?
I do not know too much about kernels so all I'm trying to do is to stay away from bricking and get CWM to run on my ICS note.
Thank you very much in advance,
Anyone?

The new SpeedMod and Franco kernels MIGHT be safe. Time will tell.

The new franco r3 kernel might be safe as franco has disabled the emmc erase bug
Thank you guys, I just flashed franco r3 kernel. Could not tell if the problem was fixed, but now i'm left with a non-wifi galaxy note everytome i try to connect it just stays at "obtaining IP address...". And I found out that some others are aloso having the same problem as I do. Hoping for some help here cause I can't flash speedmod kernel (Idid but after reboot it's still Franco??? )
Use static IP address and it will work.

I could successfully flashed speedmod k3 using odin PC (don't know why mobile Odin did not work) and my wifi is working again, this kernel also disabled the emmc erase bug so I think I'm all good for now. Thanks anyway
CF root LPF works with me...
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
Im using franco kernel on LPY, fast kernel and without the eMMC superbrick bug.
does it have root?
I am using ICS LPF, since changed to Franco Kernel, I cannot connect to the WIFI network.
Anyone can help, thanks
Try the workaround in one post of the kernel thread for franco.Kernel.
A lot of people have problems with Wifi in this kernel.
Maybe this workaround will help you. Or you might change back to your original kernel.
Try to change it but doesn't work. Now going back to Abyss Kernel.
Reflash the modem - it worked with Franco for me. Check the sticky post for Modems and download and flash the one that suits your ROM.

Abyss Kernel? Works only with GB ROMs.
You'll have to choose one of the kernels for ICS.
Guys, I'm at stock Android from Samsung with TWiz.
Bluetooth isn't working after doing what I mention at the beginning of the post.
Any ideas? Kernels fault? Should I change it?
I don't want to go back to stock, rooting is needed for lots of things outside the US.
Which rom?
Change kernels.

Original Samsung stock Android 4.0.4
Update : just changed to Note Core OC version and BT is back. I guess it was the kernel.
I don't remember where I read that Franco kernel was not supported anymore.
Anyway, mods, edit to solved
Use other kernel like goku kernel, notecore n speedmod...
Goku kerner V.1,5
Notecore V.4 and the next version
Speedmod kernel K3-9 and the next version
This kernel that supports blutooth in stockrom 404

Try another kernel like notecore. This normal for custom kernel sometimes the bluetooth wont work and another times wifi and some other things. This is the negative side of custom kernel.
Franco kernel won't work with Bluetooth in 4.0.4
And I'm pretty sure he's not updating anymore

Working with speedmod kernal
Had the same issue...
updated kernal with speedmod and now all functions working OK...:cyclops:
same 4 me.. not bluetooth with Franco kernel in ICS
Anyway. Franco is a great kernel. Great Benchmark while using it.. but cannot live without a bluetooth
Dude, which guide you follow? If it's the YouTube guide that uses a temp cwm recovery to root, then you just nearly murdered your device. Read the sticky threads in this forum and you will see.

how to change to another kernel?
hey guys, sorry Im new to this kind of thing but I need help.
so recently I rooted my galaxy note GT-N7000 and flash it with the franco kernel. after that, my bluetooth and my mobile network is not working. so I unrooted it but the problem is still not fixed. so my question is, can I flash it a new kernel if it is unrooted? or must I root it again/
thanks for the help guys.
you can use pc odin to flash the kernel but that will increase the counter and leave a yellow triangle in the boot screen. If you are on stock ics then install philz kernel as per your ROM build
---------- Post added at 12:57 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:57 AM ----------
any way how did you unroot it?

It's unnecessary to switch to GB......
Just a bug free kernel as notecore or speedmod to make a safe wipe......

just an after thought...
I never could ever simply understand why a simple installation of a kernel like speedmod can work wonders on our phone.
This is just me or what, but throughout some of the threads I read, it seemed that speedmod kernel is the best alternative kernel to choose from whenever you want to flash to any ROMs.. Though I'm not discounting the fact that Notecore can do this as well, but it seems speedmod is like that little unknown hero that saves the day when it seems your at your wits end to look for solutions e.g. brick and such.

Hi,
I've followed the guide to install the speedmod kernel on my Galaxy Note on http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1673072, using odin, but I have a problem: after Odin said that all was good, the phone is unable to reboot and for 5-6 seconds stay with the screen with the "yellow triangle" and then shut-down.
How can I solve this problem?Or come back to original kernel?
Please help me!!

You 100 % sure it was ICS? Install the rom you were on again using odin. Its will put back the original kernel. Just dont wipe while on ICS stock kernel.

I've check with my brother that has the same original rom (he has a Samsung S2)...and I discover that I had Android 4.1.2 that means JB! :/
Have I to install the JB rom with odin in the same way?
Thanks a lot for your help!

I've done what you said and ALL WORKS NOW!!
Thank you so much for your help!
Can you suggest me a good rom to install, without doing same errors!? (maybe this could be my last question! )
In this case you just have to flash the JB Speedmod kernel the same way you flash previous one. The phone is not booting because of having an ICS kernel on JB rom.

If you want all the Samsung features then check AryaMod rom.
If you are OK with AOSP, cm 10.2 or omni 4.4 are great roms. It's up to you to try and decide which one suits you the best.
This time for rooting and cwm, use Philz kernel. Methods and explanation in his thread in the Original Development Section.

Sure, I'm very ok with AOSP and I was thinking about cm 10.2!
Please, clear me up if first of all I have to install the Philz kernel or the rom cm 10.2! (that wasn't the last question! )
First root using Philz kernel.. Then back up your efs folder. Then flash the rom or your choice. Custom rom can only be flashed using cwm recovery.
AryaMod v3 is very good and smooth stock LTA based TW rom. I'm on it since it was issued. As the owner set v4 will be issued in few days. You can try it.
