Were can i buy internal camera for ace??? - Galaxy Ace S5830 Accessories

Anyone know a trusted site with spares for Ace? I need the internal camera (mine it is broken). Where I live i can not found it, and we dont have any Samsung service...

Its probably more hassle than its worth. Do you really need the camera.
How about taking it to a phone shop?

I'm kinda surprised that Spain doesn't have a service center.

Yes we have, but it is like 15km from the place where I live, and with the prices they have... No way. In a shop phone they told me that the price for changing the camera it is between 100 - 130 €. :what:It is very easy to change, I can do it, but where to buy the camera?

The camera separably costs more then the repair so the repair its actually cheaper.

I doubt we get the spares in open market / online as i had a similar experience in searching for mother board a couple of weeks ago and all effort went futile when came to know the spares are available at only the Samsung service centers.
FYI, im from India. Not sure the same in all regions.

Doesn't the Ace cost ~170€ in Europe? It's not worth it if you ask me. Buy a completely new phone.
But if you really need a working camera on the exact same phone, try Amazon, you might find a bargain.

I know I'm a bit late here but if you still need the camera pm me. I have an ace you might be able to use

Battery cover?

I broke my battery cover when trying to take it off. Does anyone know where I can find a replacement for it? I called Samsung and they do not sell the part individually.

It would be helpful to know which Nexus S you have. There are several model #'s and they are a little different.
Check global parts direct. You have to buy a minimum amount though and I don't think they come with the nfs chip.

I don't whether you are in the UK or not but I just picked up a genuine battery cover (with NFC antenna) from ebay from a trader called dew_trading. £16+p&p.
edit: it was for a I9020 and he's showing as having 5 left.
If you're in the US, make sure to try again and tell them that you want a warranty replacement for a broken back cover-- not that you just want to buy a regular replacement.
I know it sounds stupid, but I got the same line a bunch of times when I called. I had to ask to be transferred to the Warranty department and be sort of insistent that my cover was broken, and I needed it replaced under warranty etc etc. It should only cost you like $16 through that avenue.

Black Opimus P970 Housing

Hi guys,
I have a the White version of the Optimus Black (I know its oxymoron but lol) and I want to swap the housing for the phone. Are the sellers on ebay ok to buy such things from? Are there any other, maybe more reliable, retailers I could get the housing from?
What are the chances that the phone will not work when the housing is changed or does it even matter?

Why don't you try your local LG service center, if they dont have it, you can always place a request as i did as i ordered a back cover.

need touch screen digitizer for spice mi 410?

Can anyone have screen digitizer for spice mi 410 as mine was broke. Also I have found one on ebay but it is from china & I have no experience of buying thing from outside India so please suggest me some site where I can buy it.
I have tried replacing it from service centre but it is out of stock there. Any help appreciated.
Why cant you purchase the one from China? I know its not the best choice but I repair phones and thats where alot of my digitizers come from. Takes longer than anywhere else in the world (to Canada) but since I am guessing your in India it shouldnt take too long.
A friendly thanks if I've helped! Sent from my SGH-I317M using xda app-developers app

Thanks buddy.
As I have not buy anything before so I am not sure that they can successfully shipped the product and it will not stuck at the custom. In case if I buy the digitizer do I have to pay the custom and which version is appropriate for spce mi-410 as there are two version available on the following link.
ebay.com/itm/Touch-Screen-Digitizer-Lens-Glass-Replacement-Huawei-U9000-Ideos-X6-Ascend-X-/110992222778?_trksid=p5197.m1992&_trkparms=aid%3D111000%26algo%3DREC.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D14%26meid%3D5008752633813528302%26pid%3D100015%26prg%3D1006%26rk%3D1%26sd%3D110992222778%26
kindly put "www" before ebay.
Sorry but that unfortunately I am unsure of. I am somewhat unfamiliar with this brand due to the fact they dont exist in Canada. Maybe somebody else here could help you out with this..
"sorry" but why? I know that you are not belong to this thread that's why I have posted in a thread where people who are well acquainted with these device can answer my problem. And thank you for at least replying me.
Actually your thread showed up in my 'latest' category and I was trying to help. In fact, it would seem I did answer your question. Its not my fault you dont know your phone. Your welcome, but I doubt id help you again.

Is it the accelerometer sensor? Did you run the test with the HiddenMenu?
If so, you can get a replacement and solder it in yourself. :good:

Did a little search and I found that the sensor can't be replaced as a lone part but with headphone jack and the flex cable. If it actually is this sensor you could head over to eBay and buy one

Otherwise I didn't saw any replacement parts for the accelerometer anywhere, just some repair services which offer the replacement of those sensors.

@@non4 As a matter of fact, I do. =D The sensor is an Integrated chip under the name MPU-6050 made by Invensense. It costs about 7-20 euro depending where you will source it from.
This is its datasheet.
There is a specific procedure dictated from LG in the service manual in order to test the hardware operation prior to replacement. Better disassemble the phone and take it to an electronics repair center with this info and not try it by yourself.
I have attached the procedure in this post.
Hope this helps and everything turns out OK.
P.S.: Before messing with the hardware verify that the sensor is really not working. Making a sacrifice and flashing a stock based ROM for the hidden menu helps a lot as there are some diagnostics in there for the motion sensor.
***edit: In the workflow diagram there is a mistake, where is says "Change the LCD", replace it with "Change the LDO". LDO stands for Low-Dropout Regulator.

Beware of someone unloading a problem, ask for screen shot of download screen to verify knox has not been tripped.
Also ask for a warranty, 30 days.
You can buy a motherboard from china for around $66.00
