But how about this, list out of ordinary apps, something that most people won't notice, and isn't showing on the top and trending Market apps. Just like the 'New Apps' tab that existed a long time ago. It could be useful. Unless you want to stroll the Android Apps and Games section or the Web indefinitely. If you don't need the widgets on launcherpro +, then it should be fine with the normal launcherpro. There are other widget alternatives you can find elsewhere as well.
+1 for LauncherPro but also you may want to try ADWLauncher. Used it on MT3G before and it is just as good as launcherpro (diff features here and there).
+1 for angry birds, also try handcent sms. I find touiteur to be a good twitter app, but you have tons of options for that.

+1on pandora its a must on any smart phone.
Launcher pro has a free version last I checked. Only launcher pro+ is pay. But it does come with widgets that replace the samsung ones that don't work without touchwiz.
Beautiful widgets is nice bt there are free alternatives that are close but not as good.

I believe titanium backup requires root and you could use clockwork mod without root if you get the update.zip on the sd card and reboot to recovery.

I have never had to impress others with my Xoom but what I love the most is the Honeycomb UI. Having this cool 3D transition between screens, lots of widgets and customization... Google maps is sweet and one of the reasons I bought the Xoom. There is one app called cubed which is an amazing music player. You should d/l it and show it to peeps!
i connect my xoom to the tv and give everyone a wii remote n we all aply mario kart

looks fine, although from the screenshots it looks like some icons are smaller than the others (compare sms/mms to facebook messenger or deskclock on the 2nd shot)

i use zedge because it have a lot of wallpaper for free and even paid also.
also checked zedge
My app has some dark (and some weird) stuff included. And it's totally free, adfree and open source. There is not a huge amount of dark wallpapers, but maybe I'll add some more if I find the time.
