LG thrill 3D return to stock? - LG Thrill 4G

Ok so this is the question. I have this rooted and custom rom installed LG 3D. But i dunno what was running on it before that. Thing is that the phone is showing no Imei and have no signal. So i want to revert back to stock and see how it goes. As far as i know the phone is unlocked also. Anyways, i need the stock rom for this phone. I know theres a thread about returning to stock but the download link for it is down. Does someone have a working link for that?
EDIT: Nevermind guys, found a working link in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/sho...date-thrill-stock-rom-rooted+zip#post22417769

[Q] warranty phone sending back to htc

I am looking for suggestions in what I should do before I send my phone in for replacement. It is currently rooted and a replacement is on the way because the top button on my phone stopped working. Should I go back to stock? Has anyone ever had a problem with a rooted phone being turned away? thanks so much for the input. Mike
I would definitely recommend getting it back to stock. Don't bother with a stock recovery, but make sure you're on 2.1 or AT LEAST stock 2.2.
I sent mine in stock 2.1 with a custom recovery and they had no problem fixing it because it was a HARDWARE issue that I didn't cause. They run a test to see if the problem comes from the user.
Ok thanks... If I want to go back to stock I can just flash Update-Passion-Full-FRF91.zip just like i would a rom Right? Thanks Mike

[Q] no sound on voice calls after any custom rom flash

I S-off'd my incredible-s with Alpharevx and flashed to Revolution HD and now everything works fine except i get no sound from voice calls, I can't hear them and they can't hear me but the call is connected. I accidently overwrote over my backup and am in a bind. any ideas would help and be welcome. any further info i can provide please ask.
EDIT June 27th
**Fixed**
I changed the radio to 20.2804.30.085AU_3805.04.03.22_M so I could use a gingerbread custom rom.
I also noted my stock radio as 38.02.01.17_M in case i go back to the HTC stock Froyo.
That means you did not S-Off your Radio. Read the Revolution HD thread carefully as he explains that you have to do that and gives you all the steps accordingly. It is very easy.
Just go back to the thread and S-Off your radio, its going to work after that.
thx i'll check that, i flashed back to my original and its working now. I'll post back and let ya's know if i can get a costom rom on.

Thats a known issue when switching from Froyo. You just need to flash a gingerbread based radio instead of the froyo radio. Have a look here... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1129014
It will definitely fix your audio issue.

[Q] Can't update

Hi everyone.
I have an Optimus 2x, and when i updated it to 2.3.4 i could not use superoneclick to root my phone instead i found an answer on how to root it.
I needed to install cwm 5 and after that busybox and so on, and it worked, it was rooted.
Now i have a other problem, i have an update on my phone and when i click on installing it starts to reebot then it comes to cwm screen, there i'm stuck.
I have tryed everything there trying to update it but nothing works.
So now i am wondering if any of you can help me?
Got any idea what i can do to update or what i am doing wrong?
//Szander.
Ok, so now i did a recover so i get back my phone as it was before i installed cwm and tryed to update, it did work fine.
Until the update was done, then it stopped, and nothing i did worked the little android just stand there and looked at me.
So what now, i removed the battery and hoped for the best, now the phone would not bot at all.
After a few tears and a few swear words, i thougt about something, maybe i could use nvflash to get it all back as it was ???
I tryed closed my eyes and after a few minutes i could restart my phone and it loaded as useall, but the update was gone, ofcourse.
So now back to square one again.
Sigh (
Hi Szander,
So just to be completely clear, you're back at a perfectly stock 2.3.4 unrooted ROM and you want to root it, right?
Why not trying to follow cyanogen wiki to root it?

No.
I have cwm, and its still rooted.
What i want is to get rid of cwm so i can update to the latest update wich is v20q.
I have tryed this with recover but its only working on froyo, i belive i read it somewhere.
And when i recovered my phone then the problem really started, but thats fine now.
And as an plus is that now when i run LGMobileupdate tool its saying that i have v20q but in the phone it says that i still have v20I.
Weird.
I have read alittle more and (if i got it right) found out that i might just need to use smartflash on the phone via my computer to get rid of cwm and get a perfectly stocked phone again.
So can you help me please, hoping that you understand my problem.
Yup, as far as I know you are correct. To get your phone back to stock you need to flash a stock ROM using either smartflash or nvflash. I haven't done it so I can't guide you through it personally, but search this forum you should find the relevant threads easily enough.
If you have trouble finding it let me know I'll help you searching.
EDIT: By the way, thanks for Meshuggah, one of the best bands ever I should visit Sweden sometime

[Q] Help flashing basebands on P925

Ok so I am trying to get back to stock Froyo on the P925. Everything is great except the radio. I assume it is from the O3D because all I can seem to get is Edge.
So I've been looking through the forums all day and finally I found this...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=19440931&postcount=48
So now I need some help flashing this .fls file. I am rooted with cwm and have the V10e_00.kdz flashed and the update_thrill_stock_rom_rooted.zip as well. I dont want to go back to V20p just to get my H / H+ signal back. I've tried flashing the thriller rom to get the att froyo radio back but have had no luck. This seems to be the "golden ticket" but I cant find a clear guide on doing it. If anyone knows of a link to a guide with the files needed to accomplish this I could end this nightmare. If the phones radio isnt working right then it cant be considered "stock". I've seen a ton of guides on returning the thrill to stock but none include getting the right baseband.
Follow the steps on
HERE.
Most of the steps worked flawlessly for me with the exception, I had to run "B2CAppSetup" from a different folder.
All of the files are linked to on this guide.
I had 2.3.5 on my LG P925g (with lots of battery, phone, and SMS issues) This guid helped me to return to original 2.2.2. Been working flawlessly
hopefully it helps you out

yeah that is how I got to 2.2 stock rom but following those steps leaves you with everything stock except the original att baseband. When you flash the v10e.kdz it gives you everything stock except it leaves you with the p920 BaseBand. I read that flashing thriller may resolve it but it didnt work for me.
this is the fix

I just did it and it works flawlessly. Its long and complicated but there is a video to help. follow the steps and it will restore the actual stock baseband. The link has all the downloads you will need and explains this process step by step. I got my H+ back Now my phone is truly back to stock.

[Q] [q] lg revolution gingerbread or ics update link

HI THERE!! DOES ANYBODY KNOW OF A CURRENT WORKING DOWNLOAD LINK TO EITHER A GINGERBREAD OR ICS UPDATE ZIP FILE FOR AN LG REVOLUTION (VS910)? IF NOT POSSIBLY A CURRENT WORKING DOWNLOAD LINK TO A FLASHABLE FROYO ROM FOR LG REVOLUTION (VS910)? I'M TRYING TO FIX AN LG REVOLUTION THAT IS MESSED UP......NO RECOVERY PARTITION, PHONE REFUSES TO BE RECOGNIZED VIA USB/ADB ON COMPUTER, SO I'VE ONLY GOT WIFI ADB TO WORK WITH. PHONE IS STILL ON FROYO 2.2.2. PRETTY SURE I CAN FIX THIS PHONE IT IF I COULD JUST GET MY HANDS ON EITHER AN FLASHABLE UPDATE OR A CURRENT WORKING DOWNLOAD LINK TO ONE OF THE FEW CUSTOM ROMS I SEEN HAD BEEN BUILT FOR IT. I KNOW THIS PHONE IS OF "DINOSAUR" STATUS, IT BELONGS TO MY HUSBAND, AND HE FINALLY HANDED IT TO ME RECENTLY AND ASKED ME IF I WOULD FIX IT FOR HIM. (ITS NOT WORKED RIGHT FOR A VERY LONG TIME, BUT HE WAS FINE WITH IT) LET ME JUST SAY "WOW" I CAN'T EVEN IMAGINE JUST WHAT BUTTONS HE MUST HAVE PUSHED HERE AND THERE TO EVEN MANAGE TO GET A PHONE MESSED UP THIS WAY!! LOL DON'T GET ME WRONG I LOVE HIM DEARLY, BUT LET'S JUST SAY I AM THE MORE "TECHIE" ONE IN THE RELATIONSHIP!! AT THIS POINT ITS SORT OF A PERSONAL CHALLENGE...ME VS PHONE. HA!HA! LUCKY ME!! :good:
