today when i wake up n saw my galaxy ace i was bivildered ........................my ace was not working at all when ejected battery there was a sticky liquid below it n my ace's machine was totally wet by that liquid ..... after many hours of mind scraching i concluded it that, that liquid was my touch screen's liquid n my touchscreen automatically leaked out that liquid .................
so my Q is ,Is it possible that touchscreen leakout liquid itself??????? if anyone of you hav such experience then pls plss plsss share...
n how do i convence service center guys this fact to claim my warrenty???????????????
pls pls pls help.....
The liquid inside the LCD is in a very tiny amount and possibly wont have leaked. It might be your battery.
PS: Don't freak out dude! I had once hard bricked my phone and I was not freaking out as much as you do! XD

LCD does have liquid. But the quantity is too less, that too on a capacitive phone.

Jus kidding ges its a condensed liquid due t heat.. well,m nt sure!
Sent from my GT-S5830 using Tapatalk 2
Well it may be due to the battery not the lcd. Lcd liquid is alot denser.

Lol. Liquid damage arent covered by standard sammy warranty, and even if he lied, told them it just died itself, they would easily notice the liquid damage.

Yeah the chances are its the battery leaking its acid, look at the battery connection, is it rusty?
The liquid crystal display wouldn't leak out.

well this is something new.....
downloaded porn? ace got exicted I guess .. erectile dysfunction lol ... or it peed its paints lol anyways jokes apart ...
it is can't be LCD liquid ... its battery for sure ., check your battery is it soft ( kind of spongy) when you press it in your fingers? another thing see the battery connection is their any oxidation? (something green/blueish on battery connections or on phones connections)
.. try another battery and check if phone is still functional or its completely dead. this will clear your touch screen leaking thought also .... good luck

Description says equal size like stock battery.
But double capacity!? Am i right that stock battery has a capacity of 1250mAh. I don't rember exactly size at the moment.
That would be double than stock at equal size! Is that possible?

It cannot damage anything as long as voltage is the same as original battery.
not good
i have used these battery myself
the biggest mistake of my life that i bought this battery..
though it,s written 2430mah battery.. but it,s worse then the stock battery that comes with the phone,,
more over this battery stoped working just after 20 to 25 days after 1st use...
total loss...
then i put the stock battery in my phone,
if any improvement u want,, try simple 1500mah battery.. i have heard that they are bit better than the stock battery...
i,m warning all of u.. not to but this one...
i wish i could post the link here but xda won,t let me,, coz i,m new,,,,
not fair..
give it a try, and tell us if that's work

If that battery really had that capacity, it would be really really expensive... beacuse it's so cheap it looks like a fake. I would only go for branded and CE certified batteries. After all, i think the stock 1200mAh battery is just fine for our small Mini . If you need more capacity, go buy another one and when your first battery goes empty replace it with the second one

Hey guys just out of curiousity, want to ask that is there is any possibility to damage the battery permanentely with the help of any script, kernel, or via any application on samsung galaxy ace. Cause my battery just got damaged and i wanted to know that is it possible via software or due to faulty hardware..
What you meant by "damaged"
Might be faulty hardware. Coz battery damage due to apps/mods/scripts is practically impossible.!

Hey man thanx for your reply. But still one absurd question, is it possible to damage it via application...
No. The only way to damage your battery is excessive use and over charging which indirectly leads to overheating. And by excessive use i mean using it till it gets dead every single time.
Maybe this thread will clear some of your doubts.

So I missplaced my ace, and found it in a small pool of water ringing... First thing, got the battery out, wiped it, unscrew it, luckly no waterinside, just on the charging port, wiped the water, left it for a day, then tried it, every thing working, but not charging, the charger port was opened so water entered the port, now i tried to wipe the port with parfume and it charges, but some times doesn't charge, should i wipe with more parfume? or wait afther the holidays to find a working service gsm? Can parfume harm it? I used it for the alcohool to clean it...
I'm waiting for your answers, thank you who ever want's to help.
Now it works fine, it charges every time i plug it it, is the problem solved, or should i go with it at the gsm services?
It takes some time for water to evaporate completly. It is very likely that your problem is already solved

Im pretty sure the "glass" you're talking about is a unit with the lcd.... you cant change it separately. And yes, it's by far the most expensive part on a phone nowadays.

Are you sure this device has gorilla glass? Btw it's just a single piece, I recommend you to buy a bricked i9070 and replace the motherboard from your device to the bricked device, (easiest than replacing lcd), or you can replace the lcd (maybe from i9070P too) it's the cheapest solution for you

I am sure.. Gorilla glass behaves different.. It's kind of bouncy when you tap with your fingernails or use a pen.. Same feedback from s2 and ace.. I think it's possible to replace only the protective glass

Yes, I heard about that our brazilian SII don't have Gorilla Glass, btw I'm sure that GSA doesn't have it too. I'll keep my phone until it get unusable or maybe I'll give it to my mother and buy another one!
After watching some videos on youtube, and find this front glass replacement at ebay Screen replacement... I would like to know if I could do the same thing to replace my GSA's front glass?!
first of all, it seems that's much more difficult to replace broken glass on such a device than just replace a lcd in a simple phone like nokia e51 or anything like that. according to some guy in another forum, at home you'd never be able to replace glass only in a device like galaxy s/s2 or s3 - it's told to be some kind of gel between the glass and the digitizer that you'll never be able to put it back together to make it look and work like brand new - even on successful tearing apart the old parts and putting them together to work, you'd still have some odd dull sound of empty space when tapping the screen IF YOU SUCCEED, but I repeat it's not obvious - guess why s or s2 with broken glass are so cheap? yeah, got it - it's really not easy to do it by yourselves.
btw. don't spread rumours about the brazilian i9070 to be deprived of gorilla glass - i9070 doesn't have gg, nowhere in the world. samsung sites were displaying this information some time ago but they seem to remove it - they no longer boast of gg in i9070
I had an LG Optimus 2X P990 with GG, and I replaced the glass by myself that time. It was was pretty easy.
