[Half Review][Case] Ballistic SG Series for Nexus S 4G! 7/3/11

Alright guys so I have a half review for everyone. Due to me not being able to find my cable for my camera, I have pictures taken from my 4G so no pictures right now with it in the case. Will have some of those shortly! Enjoy.

Most likely it will. It's labeled as the 4G so don't blame anything on me! It fits awesome! It adds bulk but no more than any Seidio case. I think the protection is better than Seidio. The fit is perfect and snug. I can't do a review tonight but I will try and find my camera to do one for this weekend or tom/Friday.

I would throw it around if it were the HC Series but the SG Series is less hardcore. I had the HC Series on my EVO and dropped from about 8 feet onto broken up concrete with no problem multiple times. This seems to offer plenty of protection though.

Thanks this red looks real clean. How does it fit in the pockets? I just wondering cause the corners bulge

Fits the pocket pretty good for a heavy duty case. Nothing worse than any other silicone case. I shouldn't say silicone but it's fairly easy in and out. That's what she said?

Thanks for letting me know about this case. I purchased the black one and it DOES fit my Nexus S (T-Mobile). The BodyGuardz I have on the back of my Nexus S seems to help the fit but I did contact Ballistic CS and they told me it would fit.
I was looking for a replacement for Otterbox (this looked so clean and probably would have been the best case too bad they didn't make it) and I'm liking this and the Aegis.

My Ma has one of those (well, very similar to that for the Desire HD). I just don't like the pink ... afraid of catching "The Gay"
I'm just joking, pink just isn't my colour.

The slot for the pen looks like it has too much excessive free space but I guess that's because of the look.

I kinda like the look, no doubt it will protect the phone well. Next time I am in china I will look out for some.

I want this!! If anyone figures out how to order it PLEASE SHARE!! I want the white silver version. I also tried to translate/order and got "share baby" too. I tried to set up an account but the translator is limited. If anyone knows who is making these.. TELL THEM TO PUT THEM ON REAL EBAY!

I really hope they do, i've been looking for awhile and haven't found one i like

I thought the Eclipse case with the sound redirecting was ingenious but I'm not sure if that added any bulk to the case. Would be cool to have on our N2's as well though :good::fingers-crossed:

They would sell a lot of cases for our phone; people with the best phone, will pay up for top of the line products like this..

I would be game for one of these, regardless of the price is the designs turn out as good as the S3.

I paid £500 for my phone, I am not going to baulk at paying $100 for a case, I've got a cheap one at the moment to protect it while I look out for a quality case

Anyone have an update on this? I'd love to have one of their cases. I remember their original iphone cases and they were crazy back then too with a see through magnetic plastic screen cover. Coolest case ever.

Those cases are awesome, and I'd definitely buy one if they made it for our phone. That said, I doubt they'll make one now, as we're already 3 months past launch. I'm sure they'll jump on the s4 though.

Acrylic dock for nexus 10 and pogo cable

Hello,
After a long search on the internet to find a dock for my nexus 10 and my pogo cable, I decided to make my own.
I started by making some prototypes made with a sheet of depron and then I made my first with acrylic.

Simple, nice looking and functional. Is it "unmountable"? I mean, you get the pieces and put it togheter, and you can undo it? I would also be interested in this thing (15€ + shipping looks like a good price to me).
Just for help, you can ask some labs to produce this for you if you can model pieces in AutoCAD. I have seen them use the same machine they use with waveguides and PCBs, Maybe you can find some company that accepts this kind of works in metacrilate (not sure if correct word) or PCB material.

FYI I don't use it. it pulls up the screen protector like crazy and the bottom part kind of flaps in the wind. ( It's very sloppy on the bottom)

Haha harsh, I don't find the case bad looking lol and idk though I myself have a hard time trusting cases not made by otterbox or ballistic, at least when it comes to ruggedized cases with dual layers

I was pretty much planning to alter it if I ended up buying it. Basically to remove the flap that covers the bottom, and I had no intentions to use a screen protector.
I have quite a few different cases I was looking at, but this was just a curiosity

Personally though, not a fan of these types of cases. They're really bulky and I think they completely ruin the look of the phone and makes it look cheap.

I don't sell anything online. I'm just looking for something that with offer a decent amount of protection. I don't want a lot of bulk, but I want something that is sturdy enough offer that much. I've seen drops cracking the screen and figured I may as well look for a case to pop the phone in when I get it. I don't usually punish my phones, but I figured I'd rather be safe than sorry.

i have the otterbox defender. I dropped it onto my garage floor from about shoulder height, not really sure how, just did, and the phone landed pretty much on the corner and the phone was fine.
got it off ebay for 40.

I was looking at the otterbox too. Not too sure though. Ob are usually really bulky. :/
