Hi,
Can any please tell me how to remove this annoying battery icon on the top center of my screen. I was playing around with the settings and all of sudden this came up. I tried my best and spent lot of time trying to remove it but unsuccessful. Any help on this would be appreciated. Please find the screenshot.
This icon for rom booster or cleaner apps ..
Open it and set no notification ....

HI ! All ICS pics are very smudgy and not clear ( unlike in MIUI roms which are of great quality ) so is there any ics out there with good quality pics for contacts and does not always " unfortunately the music has stopped" crashes ? Tried almost all ics roms but after a few days they all seem to crash or dialler acts funny ( can't record or delete calls while talking calls or even receive a call when at times the reply button starts jumping and so on......) So pls, can someone recommend some nice ics rom or shall I stick to my XXJW4 gb and wait for XXLPH ?

ICS pic badges
The contact photos you assign in ICS are sent to your Google Contacts account and are compressed enough to be visible for emails in gmail and such.
The dialer just zooms in on them, and that's why they're pixelated.
You have two options on what to do.
1) Just edit the contact and apply the HD pic of your choice.
2) go to your contacts.google.com, and change the contact photos there, so it'll be downloaded on your next flash with a higher resolution.
thanks ! I will look into it now ! Rgds.

Hi
I'm wondering if anyone can help me out with this. I have the desire c (branded to 3 and rooted) it has worked great for awhile but recently the screen keeps going into landscape and getting stuck there (even when holding it up right) I've tried turning auto rotate off but it still happens usually a restart fixes it for awhile but then it starts again. I found a app on the market that can force it back into portrait but then I can't make some apps full screen like YouTube. I've tried a factory reset a few times both through settings and by pushing power and volume up but not long after it starts happening again.
Anyone have any idea why this is happening?
Thanks.

Maybe you should backup your current rom, and then install a custom one maybe some files relating to the sensors could be corrupt.
Thanks i may try using a generic rom to see if it fixes it. What's the best way to back up my current rom? Gonna need to go back to it if I have to sent it off to get fixed.

Well I tried nameless Rom but it didn't fix it so looks like I'm gonna have to send my phone off for repair

Try calibrating your sensors.

Thanks I tried that but no luck the odd thing is the sensor seems to work cause I can play that game where you control the ball with the sensor. But its started doing other stuff now like it keeps turning the screen on on its own and putting phone on loud speaker and pausing music etc.

Weird... The game works, but the accelorometer doesn't work at other places

My wife's Desire C has the same problem. Stuck in landscape most of the time. Screen turning on, phonecalls sometimes suddently go to speaker. Sensors are working fine if you ask me.
I was trying to root it when I read this topic, I still might try a custom rom though.
Glad I'm not the only one who had this problem. Maybe there's a fault with some of the handsets or something.
I gave up and sent mine off for repair now.

Heyyy!!! Did u find any solution for your problem. My phone is also starting to behave in the same way....
I think I found the solution. It seems like the problem is with HTC's ROM based on ICS 4.0 and 4.0.4. I tried just about any ROM based on ICS (stock and custom) with any kernel combination and the problem repeats itself.
Flashed CM 10.1 and the problem is gone.

Hello everyone!
Couldn't find thread like this, so I'll start one now.
I'm a noobi and can't post in dev section yet, but I would like to mention some issues with the nightlies of this great rom. Many thanks to the devs!
One of the few bugs I found is that the wallpaper dissapear very often. The black "pacman" WP shows up instead. Don't know what's trigging. It's randomly. It started on around the 22/6 nightly. I'm not sure. It's anoying, so I went back to the 13/5 stable(?) release for daily driver
I also had the setting FC after uninstalling, but that's resolved now on the latest, right?
Battery life went pore on the 28/6. Anybody else have that problem?
Also have problems with alarm clock will not kick in if app kill on back button. Would be great to have the clock app blacked out also
Overall the Pacman rom is very good. Many great features
I will continue post issues with the nightlies in this thread.

Flashed 29/6 yesterday. Pretty smooth, but still draining battery. Today I flashed 30/6 rom and imidiately problems. FC android.prosess.media and playstore. I did dirty flash and did not flash gapps. Will try that now. Later....
Did now flash the gapps too and all is is well. A good idea to always flash gapps too as told in dev thread. I'm still learning..

On 30/6 the wallpaper still drops out and replaces with stock pacman. Only happend once today. Quite annoying. Also the statusline FC sometimes like earlier nightlies.
On this (30/6) rom the "green power" app have FC sometimes too. And mobile network can't be deactivated at all. Maybe the couse of battery drain..?
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
1/7, battery life much better, but sometimes FC com.android.systemui. Randomly I think. Will flash 2/7 soon if available.

How can i download this rom there is no link that exists on the net for (4.4.2)
Hi guys,
I know probably someone has asked this question before, and it is the case of experimenting and finding out which is best. got a great deal on a used samsung galaxy s as my backup phone (htc one is my main chicken lol). so went through the procedure of rooting and what not, ive tried a few 4.2.2 roms but for some reason im getting a lot of battery drain( screen off) from a fresh install with no apps other than gapps installed, what roms have you experienced gives you decent battery life?
try 4.1 for smart battery usage, but check app running n manage it first

Gamerz rom v 4 and latest devil kernel.
Sent from my GT-I9000 using xda app-developers app
From my experience I can recommend any SlimROM - currently using SlimBean 4.1.2 (v2.9) and it works very well when it comes to battery management. With wifi and 3G launched from time to time, a bit of messaging and few short phone calls a day I charge it every 2-3 days. Running Semaphore kernel.
well if you go to the DEV section you'll find several ROM's diserv to try i had the same question like you the only way to check out is to search on the DEV and give a try for each ROM ^^
