Personally I highly reccomend the mirror screen protectors! They're extremely cheap on ebay too, I've gotten a couple packs of them because friends of mine have seen them and wanted them too. You can get a pack of 3 w/ 3 microfiber cloths included for less than a dollar shipped

What are those like? I saw them on eBay but I wasn't quite sure of the point? do they stop glare somehow?
any images?
None of the screen protectors that I tried work well. They all make the screen feel odd. My solution was to buy a tmobile mytouch fitted folio case. It covers the screen when not in use, as well as protecting the whole phone. Then, once awhile I use alcohol swaps to clean the screen.
I use a Zagg invisible shield. It works great and although initial cost is high, there is a lifetime warranty so anytime your screen protector gets scratched, you can send it back in and get a new one for just s&h.
Go to zagg.com or search for invisible shield in Google

Since I'm a Magic owner, thought I'd share. Dun feel like posting this in every single forum for the phones that they have.
I also submitted the news to the XDA Portal in hopes of attempting to let everyone else know aswell.
[edited] they include 2 full guards per order, incase you mess up putting it on. If you don't you've got a backup. Pretty cool of them. Plus they offer lifetime replacements.

I got this case-

and this screen protector-
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008EO263I/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i01
They'll both be here Monday, which is when my Nexus 7 (16 GB) will be delivered too. I have and have had products from both Moko and ArmorShield, and both are excellent quality.
I think I'm going to buy that case. For $6.99, it will hold me over until a better one comes around. I don't like it for permanent use.
I do want a screen protector too, but I only want the non-spray self-sticking (static cling?) ones. I bought one of those for my wife's iPad and it worked great. I bought a spray-and-stick one for my SGT8.9, and it sucked (Zag).

Well, MoKo makes good stuff, it should last a while, I think they are just doing the deep discount to get in on the Nexus 7 frenzy. I agree on the Zagg's, I don't like them either, but ArmorShield, Skinomi and BodyGuardz are all good ones, they all make dry apply and wet apply. I usually go for dry apply on phones, like my Galaxy Note i717, but on bigger things like tablets the wet apply ones are easier to install and work with, at least for me. The ArmorShield's are really thin, don't yellow and are not sticky like the Zagg's, which is one reason why I dislike Zaggs too.
Just ordered that case as well. Can't beat that price with prime shipping.

I ordered the case a few days ago and already got it. It's actually quite nice and more indicative of its real price and not the $7 I paid for it.
I ordered a moko one that has the magnetic sleep/wake function. Sort of a gamble because there is only one pic, but it looks like it can function as a stand as well.

Right on! I have been pretty impressed with their stuff, Skinomi's are a little sticky, and Zagg's are ultra sticky of course. With the ArmorShields, the little imperfections will settle out over the next couple of days, and if for some reason it goes crazy, they will just send you another set out.

Update-Yep
Dear buyer:
Sorry for another intrusion but we just came across this report and
thought we have to share it with you:
http://www.tomshardware.com/news/White-Nexus-7-Case-Stain-Clean-Black-Nexus-7,16302.html
With the same porous plastic material, we are concerned that the black
back on the retail version could also be susceptible to dye to some
extend. It may be embarrassing but we have to admit that we did not
have this issue in mind when our fist batch of Nexus cases was made.
Although the case has NOT left any mark on neither of the white or
black Nexus 7 we have after a short period of normal use, we would
rather be overcautious and have more intensive tests done before we
can comfortably let you use the case, even as a temporary solution. We
definitely could not afford to have you as beta-testers on this issue
with your brand new tablets and would suggest you hold off using the
case until you get further confirmation from us or a replacement case,
hopefully within 5-7 days. You can be assured all our future shipments
will be fully compatible with Auto wake/sleep feature and free of any
staining problems guaranteed. You will get to choose any style you
prefer from our whole selection of Nexus cases as the free
replacement.
I understand most of you will get your Nexus 7 today and I am really
sorry to disappoint you with this message but please do excise caution
if you have to use something else on your Nexus. Again, I apologize
for the inconvenience and would appreciate your understanding and
patience in this process of getting the right protection for your
Neuxs. This is what we do and we will do it right for you.
Please also let us know if you have any comments or suggestions. Thanks, Jim
WOW, I don't think I've had such good customer service, at least not that I can remember! Most companies would be like "Oh, sorry about that case we sent you last month, it probably left marks allover your device, sorry, but we can't do anything".

I know, I'm shocked too. Question: you just ordered the one case in your OP, right?
I ask because I ordered TWO cases from this seller. The one you did, plus the $12.99 smart case they came out with on Sunday. I wanted to make sure that this email was about the first case, not the second one (or both).
I am really shocked that they would have gone so far to help their customers for something that cost $6.99 shipped. I was actually going to return that case, since I got the better one, but I think I'm going to keep it just out of support of the seller.

Just file a warranty claim and sell the new one. I popped the screen protector out of my Defender got tired of not having it and emailed saying it fell out. No. Serious answer.
If you do attempt to put it back on, you can glue it. If you really wanted it back on you can glue it. But forcing it out may bend / distort the screen protector. It's no good anyway.

A read in this forum, and actually in Amazon reviews for Defender, people use a hair dryer to soften the glue and remove it easily.
Regarding the whole thing with Otterbox and customer support, I had original Defender for a few days purchased from Verizon store. After quickly realizing the shortfall with that built-in screen protector, I contacted Otterbox directly and was explained that problems get resolved easily by them sending me email with claim number and me providing them back 3 pictures with a problem and/or additional small video clip (to show flex of screen protector). They told me that once you send the claim in, a replacement will be shipped to you and YOU have to send back the original case. My point, if you are not happy with a Defender, just return it back if you can rather than taking screen off and than gluing it back together which going to void warranty. In my case, I went back to Verizon store, tried 3 more Defender in there - all with the same issue, and just returned it back.
Regarding moral issues, so how about that "almost real" thread? I think I mentioned it in there a few times as a disclaimer that these come very handy when you want to modify Defender for extended battery and don't want to butcher your $60 case.

screen protector really does work. when it looks like smudges, air bubbles, or blemishes within a 48 - 72 hours they do all go away.
there was what looked like dust smudges which bummed me out but 2 days later ...completely gone.
CAUTION !!
i used the Spen and it leaves track marks. a few have disappeared but the more pressure you you put on the screen the deeper the marks look ... ill report back to see if they went away

So yeah, the unthinkable happened. I literally threw my phone out of the window while trying to use Google pay. Not my proudest moment. Ended up cracking the bottom of the back glass. Well, I imagine most companies rightfully believe most American's to be suckers.
It's a case that most people won't even use. It is a hard shell clear plastic with not much protection. I could see if it was a gel case that gave some protection like the one that comes with oneplus and the likes. If it came with that hard shell case people would just complain about that like what they are putting on the screen.
Ask people who have bought phones that come with cases if they actually end up using them or if they ended up buying cases anyways. My bet is that most all of them will tell you either they didnt ever use it or that they just used it until the one they bought arrived.

True, a few back ups never hurt.
I read that the reason a screen protector is installed is because some will interfere with the sensor. You may need a certain type or brand. Only a rumor...
Not a rumor. The temper glass ones is only supported by one brand. The cheap plastic ones will work. I've ordered both. The temper glass one was 70 bucks for a two pack.
Can anyone confirm if case will be included as well? I saw an unboxing of the s10e that came with a Yellow case -- just not sure if it was a US phone.
