Change pattern lockscreen in cyanogenmod? - Android Themes

When I put a pattern lock in cm7 the lockscreen looks like this:
so I want to know if there is any way to make it look like ics or at least make it bigger so the dots don't overlap? Thanks

Anyone knows if its possible to change this? D:

When you say the "file" you mean the image or the apk? Because I don't think apks for ICS can work on a phone with GB. :S

I want it to look like this....
There is a tutorial here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1494271
But it is for Galaxy Ace so I don't think it would fit on my screen.... Please help me, is the only thing i need to make my phone look 100% ICS.
EDIT: Actually I check on google and I noticed Galaxy Ace's screen is HVGA too.... (320x480) Let me try this to see if it works... Thanks anyway
EDIT 2: It doesn't work... after applying it it reboots and then i have a bootloop. Any way to make this work? Please help!

It probably has something to do with your current dpi.

What you mean by "dpi"?
My phone is a Live with walkman (320x480) resolution so this images posted on the thread have to work on my phone.
Here is what I did:
Installed Ninjamorph
Copy framework-res.apk to SD.
Open apk with Ninjamorph.
Replace png files posted in the thread I just mention before.
Finish project
Replace original framework-res.apk with the new one (new pngs) with the right permissions.
And that`s it. But it doesn't work.

Oh sorry dude, today i was messing around with build.prop changing dpi and pattern lockscreen looked just like yours.

So.... is there a way to change this To make CM7 pattern lockscreen look like ICS??

[q] fonts for aria

Can someone help me out figure out how to switch my fonts or use type fresh cant seem to get it to work
Have a friend having the same problem. Cant seem to get any method to work. Is there any solution? I'm i missing something?
I have and Evo and its a simple flash with one of the font packs. No such luck with this Aria.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
There's a thread somewhere in here about this for the aria. Its definitely feasible ...I think jason911 or whatever his exact name is knows how to do this ...

Search the forums for fonts. Theres a thread full of flashable font packs that I can verify work on the aria as I've used several of them.

Not a problem at all, the main thing is to help each other
I used Churapa's method too (thanks!) so I don't know if the flashable zips work or not, but here's a link to the EVO thread with more than 200 font packs.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=801160
Even if you find you can't flash them to your Aria, you can still download the zip file and get the fonts out of them to use with the ADB method.
I have used the flashable zips from that link the biggest problem I had is some of them are to big of a font size. I would recommend doing a nandroid first in case you're not happy with the results
Sent from my Liberty using XDA App
If you're not happy with the results, you can always just flash the original fonts back. They are freely available on the internet if you didn't back them up.
Problem is, all screenshots are for HDPI devices (480x800). And some of them look ugly on the Aria.
I would venture to say that most of them look ugly, and not just on the Aria. But it's not that difficult to move on to the next font either. To each their own...

MiUi Screen Animations (1.9.16) Only works on MiUi and the newest build.

Here are a bunch of animations that I found. I made flashables. I will make sure that these are updated once we update EVERY build. These animations will work on any phone running the latest MiUi build. Have fun and enjoy. If you happen to stumble upon a animation no in the op, please feel free to post a link to it and as soon as i can get a chance i will make it..
.....::: Cheers :::.....
Please make sure to re boot twice and let sit for a little to allow the lagg to go away

Bounce Animation (clickme)
Fly In and Flip Animation (clickme)
Twisted Animations (clickme)
Stock Android Animations (clickme)
For those having problem's with their phones not taking the flashables i made
First download the animation you want above.
next your going to want to pull your framework apk from the current rom your using by navigating to system>framework>framekwork.apk, place it on the pc your going to use.
rename the framework.apk to .zip and open with what ever program you use to view zips
Now that you have your stock apk renamed and opend in your zip program navigate to the res>anim folder thats going to be the folder we are going to drop the modifeied xmls in the animation zip you already downloaded
now navigat to animation.zip file you downloaded and also open in your zip program
open the anim folder
copy all of those modified xmls and paste them in your stock anim folder that we left open replace anything it asks you too
now you can close out the custom anmation we wont need it any more
now close out the stock zip as well
navigate to the stock file we just moded and rename it from .zip to .apk
and your done
push the frame work apk to the folder you took it out from and enjoy

[MOD] Navigation Bar for Epic on CM10

I really like the Nexus-style NavBar, but the default height when I set the "qemu.hw.mainkeys=0" value in build.prop is too high at 48 px. I created a flashable zip for the Epic on CM10 that sets the height to 36px. It does not automatically add the "qemu.hw.mainkeys=0" value though, you have to do that yourself.
This mod was created using the framework-res.apk from the cm-10-20130120-NIGHTLY-epicmtd build.I can confirm it works with that one, but it may (or may not) work with earlier builds. Make sure you have a backup
Installation
Edit system/build.prop to add qemu.hw.mainkeys=0
Reboot/flash the zip
Hope you like it.
Special thanks to Ahmedabad for the guide on editing framework-res.apk and to Jamshedpur for the guide on using apktool.
Another cool thing I discovered is that once you add "qemu-hw.mainkeys=0" to build.prop and reboot, the System settings > System menu now displays a "Navigation Bar" option. You can add and modify your buttons there!
I added a search button, and made the menu button display all the time, and not by application. I'm loving CM10 more every day!
I'm using cm-10-20130120-NIGHTLY-epicmtd and when I flash this my phone won't boot :/ :silly:

Well, copy paste is such a headache....if u have to change about 2000 files in case of framework....and it causes force close but this method we doesnot get fc...
Main thing is we save data on this theme...
Greatest thing is we dont need the system files of different phones for themeing....like u said "i need ur ohones systemUi.apk..."
So it can be used with any phone...
HDPI, MDPI, or XHDPI....
U just have change the folder name where u want those files to be replaced....
So we dont need to upload specific sytemUI.apk or Framework.apk, we will just provide some files which are to be replaced....
Hsss....I hope u got the point!!!!

I got your point but why i ask separate apks has different reason.
I don't know if you have done theming for other phones but if you have, you must know that theming just not depends on PNGs...it depends on xml files....and every phone has different xml files.....i ask their framework-res because i not only change their icons but also their feel of phone like animation, lockscreen, colors in different menu etc.
If any one uses my theme in a single sim phone then their phone will go mad because then it will show 2 signal bars and sim choice in calls.
If you just want to change icons then your method is ok but i ask for apk to change the feel and if someone by mistake try to use it in their phone, it'll get bricked....even my themes can be used on any phone but not the apks.
Did you get the point???
