those are software development kits, to better use the built in tegra stuff. not source for drivers, we would need source, nvidia is one of the most closed source crappware companies there is, dont expect source code anytime soon.
btw, last tegra device i buy, unless its a tablet, and even then im iffy

Those do come with precompiled libs, though, which I'm pretty sure is all we are going to get. So someone needs to figure out if the kernel included in that system.img is new enough and can be used on Atrix, then see if the libs will work with it. I don't have enough know-how to do something like this, though, and it might be super time consuming since the kernel isn't made for the Atrix. nvidia does have a git repository with all their kernel patches for the Ventana and Cardhu processor lines, so maybe a combination of compiling that and using these libs would help?

He's nerfed (Off-Topic). Going back to the topic this has been discussed before, so it's old.

Yeah, this has been discussed a few times before. No, it's precompiled for a dev kit, it won't help.
I have a feeling this topic is going to be another "ZOMG!!!eleven! ZTE Grand/Mimosa X with Tegra 2 & ICS!oneoneone! We have libs for our Atrix!!!eleventyone!!!!"
No, if there are leaked libs out there that works, we would have the devs of the Atrix, Photon, Droid X2, O2x, and Galaxy R all over it like a starved pack of wolves.

[Q] How come CWM/CWMR don't use .tar.gz files.

Like the title says, busybox supports tar files (compressed using gz, bz2 and lzma), and one can easily add md5 support to that.
Is there any specific reason or just the developers aren't familiar with Linux?

Probably cpu usage and battery life issues more than anything else. Then there are units (like the one I'm using now) that simply don't have that much power to begin with. So who knows the exact details other than the authors...

tar + gzip uses less resources than zip, also it preserves permissions, md5 / crc32 checking should be trivial and wouldn't use any more than zip, probably less, also faster decompression.

[DEV] EGL binary

just finally got dirvere ..
Hello,
To kick off this new year, I'd like to present an EGL binary from a test build along with a patch to frameworks base.
[-LINK-]
gralloc.default.so
libGLES_hgl.so
[-LINK-]
Some info on the patch:
Switch Looper to use poll() instead of epoll().
The TLS changes are necessary to work with the open sourced kernel.
See following for more info: [-LINK-]
EGL_ANDROID_swap_rectangle has been commented out as it's not supported.
Please let me know if you encounter any issues with the test binary.
Happy New Year and Regards,
David

I think he quoted this post from madteam forums:
http://madteam.co/forum/general-77/(dev's)(broadcom)-open-dialogue-with-broadcom/msg76394/#msg76394
Basically, broadcom has released an early version of the drivers we were waiting for to develop great ROM's such as Cyanogen
Now we just have to wait.

The pre built tar contains some executables?
Also it says DROID bionic at the bottom?

Not a rom
I showed the page to papi92 (Dev and creator of AMBP), and he told me its only the kernel, you cant build a complete rom out of it..
Of course
like other manufacturer they release only the code they should.
I never saw a manufacturer releasing all the source code for their rom.

That's definitely in the realm of reason. You'd have to ask Team Liquid or turl1 though.
Looks like hardware drivers included, should not be a problem to make AOSP.

Thanks OP for this! Was hoping it was a plugin instead. but this will work for now I already sort of did something like this, but just kept everything as "default" and would change the names after importing to eclipse. Would really like an eclipse plugin that would automatically create the project inside eclipse. I was planning on making one just havent gotten to it. I like this jar tho
