Hey all ive ported the lastest MokeeOS from mfunz with cm 7.2 as base to our Nexus S.
You must try this Rom, its super fast! And has a nice UI.

So if some is using the rom can you test something for me? Can you swap the settings.apk from my mokee release with the settings.apk from cm.7.2 stable for crespo? This can fix the about phone fc. I cant try it at the moment :/

I'll do what you ask as soon as i get of work and get home..
Edit: ha sorry you meant the "about phone"... sorry.... the "about phone" fc is a common error on MokeeOS port for nexus s... I think it´s just isn't able to show the info, so it fc's....
But I'll try to do it...give a couple of hours...

Dialer is working fine, right? if so, there's no need to swap phone.apk, but i'll get in that fc..

yes dial is fine. the only fc is when you tap on "about phone" so i think its the settings.apk

This is a nice rom , but needs to be polished a bit. First of all play store doesnt work it force closes always no matter what I do.

don't work for me, i clear data and cache of google framework services, reboot and when i lauch play store it FC. i can't install nothing because there no filemanager include in the rom i can't install APK file directly.
It seem to be a god rom but in this state i can't use it

Install file manager off googlestore or mi explorer off xda ( Google search it) install rom manager and fix permission
If all fails flash the rom again but remember wipe dalvic cache

How can i install APK without selecting it with a filemanager in the phone ?????.

Latest Google Play Store 4.2.9
The Google Play Store version 4.2.3 already showed that the feature of restricted accounts will be implemented in Android 4.3 by Google. This was finally confirmed by Google yesterday. The latest version of the Google Play Store for Android (4.2.9) has some more new strings, images and small UI changes to the widgets.

Also a new playstore [4.2.3] with transparent background added, thanks to my friend " ClariS " . Remeber root access is required for the installation of transparent one.
After the download rename the app as Phonesky.apk then delete the old one from system/app and then copy the new one and push it into system/app and provide permission rw-r--r-- with the help of root explorer or any similar one . Now reboot and done if faces any fc then clear data in settings>apps>all>google playstore.

Then uninstall reboot and reinstall or rename it as Phonesky.apk and push it to system/app with permission rw-r--r-- and then clear data of google playstore and google play services in setting>apps>all and reboot.

Sorry, I fixed it. It was my own problem that I had a bad core.jar under /system/framework.

Installation Steps :
1) After downloading The S ROM move it to your sd card (or internal memory)
2) Open cwm recovery by pressing the home, volume up, and power buttons at the same time and go to the rom file
3) do a full wipe cashe, data factory and dalvik cache
4) Open it and follow the Aroma instructions
5) Reboot and enjoy

I found. The torrent file can be dowloaded with desktop mode in browser. Otherwise "file not found" alert appears

After some trying to prevent false positiv errors (sry for the furtherinsults), it looks like that mini gapps don't work with cm 11.0 on ART. It is right?
the processes from gapps are freezed or instantly crashed on startup

These are deodexed and would not work with ART.
You need to install them from here

i know,i will add new mini gapps as soon as my bandwith is better.

These gapps also gives me problems vanir rom ... the wizard stops ...

there to old,i must update this thread,but in last time i haved problems with upload,sorry.i update as soon as possible.

There is no play-store in this package?

its minimalistic gapps,there only the apps and files which needed to log in google account,for backup+restore userdata,the rest lies in your hands.
reason 1,i hate 99% of the google apps,i only use playstore+gmail+kalendar and these as inverted black versions.
so everyone can use what he whant.

im currently upload a lil bigger version too,that comes with GmsCore,Gmail,Playstore,all needed google syncadapter and files that needed for,it comes only with 23 mb.

Both way will work without any problems.. Normal installation and root installation. Its upto u. U can try normal one. It should work. :thumbup:

Im on DU 8.2 and when i open the crome beta, (even the one from playstore) it opens in floating window. :s ftw hahaha

Javelin browser as well is with Material Design, is awesome?
