This is for the Zio M6000 themes and apps!

What's the best desktop replacement for Zio?
I've tried dxtop but it tends to slow down my phone so I ended up removing it.

livehome
I had livehome with 1.6 a few features are now found in 2.2 but it still a great home replacement and has many features! Will drain batter slightly faster but not much. That would be what i recommend.
*edit: After using adw ex for a few days now i am also quite partial to it. So i'd say if you need a nice free home replacement llivehome but if you dont mind paying then adw ex.

Move2SD Enabler is the best,its the REAL apps2sd.
panda 91 home is cool i like the side slide out features,but ocationaly gets laggy.
was using @ROID for yahoo mail(free) but seems yahoo released thier own app now.
Pure Grid calendar widget,cus it sync's with google account
Fancy Widget Pro cus i like their clock and weather

drocap2 for screenshots is great. didn't work w/ Donut, but works with Froyo. timer, shake or notification trigger to take screenshots.

Still like ADW ex way better. Same slickness, same response time, more cowbell..

I like adw ex as well. I like the tron legacy theme.

Custom Font Switcher in the market did a great job changing the system font. Tons of fonts to chose se from. Even changed the clock font in notification bar. Launcher Pro Plus has hid notification bar option as well.
Kyo M6000 Rooted with NoAds or Bloatware.

I have been using GOlauncher and never looked back on ADWex . Faster and more stable in my opinion..really like the notifications in the dock bar

If you're talking about the dockbar, that looks like the HTC Sense UI. It comes preloaded with most/all HTC phones (I think all. I might be wrong here). As far as I know we can't get Sense on our Zio's, but some launchers let you change the dockbar like LauncherPro does and gives you a similar effect. As for the clock/weather widget, no idea.

You can get the same launcher with gee home replacement and the hero the theme

If anyone is interested in creating a custom honeycomb theme for the Zio then try these apps out,
ADWex or ADW free version
Honeycomb ADW theme & icons pack (free)
Fancy Widget Pro (for the digital clock)
You will need to hide the dock and replace it with honeycomb icon then hide the status bar.

Tried an app called Sysctl Config for root. Not exactly sure on all the tech stuff but man is this thing humming like a top now. Responsive. Alert. Fast. Maybe someone can tell me what its doing? You Linux guys should be able to tell me, its a Linux program

Sysctl changes the ratios that the kernel uses for the CPU. Dirty Ratio is 95 by default, mine is 100. Dirty Background Ratio is 60 by default, mine is 65. Be careful changing these values. VFS Cache is 50. I have not altered this yet. I also have not changed Min Free Kbytes which is 2048 default.

[APP] Stock Launcher with SMS button instead of browser button! + Faster

This app is the basic gingerbread launcher (Launcher2.apk) but with one change, the browser button is replaced with an SMS button that is fully functional.
I personally text and use the messaging app a lot more than I use the browser, so I thought it would be a good idea to move the messaging app down to the dock.
I know you can do this in custom launchers, like Launcherpro and ADW Launcher, but I really prefer the stock Launcher for its smoothness and really smooth 3D app drawer which the others dont offer.
Enjoy! and let me know what you think and thank me if you like it. If you want any other apps placed on the dock just request it, I'll try and help you out.

Yeah, I had just finished making and installing the app and forgot to get rid of the extra messaging shortcut. I now have the browser on the home screen .

Updated the app with better graphics.

Launcher Pro has been updated with a smoother 3d drawer. It looks pretty cool with 5 columns. Either way, good work.

pure awesomesauce... have been using zeam launcher simply because i could change the browser icon, but now moving back to stock launcher. Nothing like the butter smooth app drawer

Would anyone be interested in a stock launcher with speed enhancements? What I mean is faster zoom in and out when openning the app drawer, faster scrolling and more touch sensitive.

It not really the browser problem sometime u exceed ur bandwich and that happen u can wait or just switch to ur phone and everything will be back to normal

A best launcher for customizing your phone

I use go launcher and my phone isn't slow at all... I have apps that use lots of RAM like AVG and Swype running too and it runs perfectly... plus i have over 80 user apps... so please reconsider your low rating of Go launcher... I would say it's 4* as it has annoying unnecessary things like go market, but overall my favourite launcher
I'll upload a few pictures when I get on the computer
Go launcher only uses 15 megabytes, anyone who says more is probably running 8 home pages with a thousand widgets
For increased speed of any application place it in the system partition as it has a MUCH HIGHER read rate

Nice launcher collection. Would be nice when you do an in-depth thread where you go in more to the customization (kitchen for the statusbar icons, toggles, some links to icon threads for icon changing, etc.)

I saw a lot of roms with different status bar but none as a "launcher" that you just install and customize. There are any way to customize the status bar without using a custom rom? And, there are any custom rom that allow you to change and customize the status bar or does every rom makes you stuch with it till you install a new rom?

Here you go. . Go to plays store and type OMEGA STATUS BAR in the search bar .there you will find many status bar replacer's .

Why the hell you are relying on the stock launcher . You can mod the touchwiz launcher of jelly blast by yourself . Use ninjamorph to decompile and recompile the apk on your DEVICE .By this way you can learn how to mod the launcher , framework-res.apk ....and many more . Its very easy to mod (only after you learn ,how to mod ). :beer:

Thanks for liking it, As i'm quite busy but i will add your icons as soon as possible as exams are going on and the wallpaper can be accessed through apex launcher only i'm working on that and if possible kindly review it on the play store

Just want to notify that, when I applied this pack on CM10.2, the stock app of CM10.2 were not themed..
apps like phone, contacts, messaging etc..
I hope u will look into it and add support for CM10.2
