Look for my modded driver to get fastboot working. I think in the performance thread.

The drivers you need are on a zip file in the internal storage of the streak.
/sdcard/Drivers.zip
Not to be confused with the sdcard2 which is actually the removable sdcard.

Well you didnt format your device. So as soon as I am done with the CWM recovery, you will be fine. The recovery will already have the bootloader in it.
Can you get into the dell recovery by booting and holding the vol + button and power button?

Hey you can count me in to help I know C and C++ C# java ARM 8 Assembly language I could adapt to the tegra 2
Yes you can hold the volume button up and power at the same time it goes into a recovery menu you get 4 options
0. Boot
1. Factory reset (User data only)
2. Software Upgrade via update.pkg on SD card
3. Factory reset (User data and Internal tablet storage)
4. Power Off
Those are the 4 options up tope if says it will cold boot if no input is detected within 60 seconds to enter boot loader you have to hold the vol + and power then let go of vol + and hold it again it seems.
Thats what I mean. If he can access that then when I am fone with the recovery, then I can help him out.

Your easiest option then would be to follow the unroot/restore guide in the wiki (passimg FRG33). That should get you a working phone, which you can then root again...

I'm not certain but it might be called update.zip, because if I remember that's the only name that will flash in the stock recovery. As for finding it, just try searching for update.zip. it should be on the root of the sdcard(no folder) because that's the only way I thought it could install. Any ways I'm probably wrong but at least you can try.

I'm not sure really what CSC code is but I think your talking about stock Odin flash able package. That should get you back to stock and flash the stock recovery and wipe everything. However i think it will bootloop after it flashes so you will have to boot into recovery and wipe data. If so check out the wiki. There is all the info you need. I have another idea though. I haven't done this myself but you should be able to push a clockworkmod recovery.img to the phone from a terminal if you have adb also in the wiki. I can't view your pic because I don't have a Facebook but maybe someone else can. Good luck

That is the stock update pushed by Samsung from what it sounds like. Also sounds like a data packet might have dropped during the downloading of it causing a bad install. For simplicity get cwm Installed and boot thru that and flash from cwm. Wiki has all the info needs.
Wiki please read completely on rooting and install of cwm. Suggest 6.0.1.2 version. Personal preferences on that.

Problem solved. I just randimly pushed the 3 buttons on the phone before the rebooting part came up in the script and finally got the menu, took may tries to get to that point but as soon as I got to that point, I was quick to install clockworkmod successfully. Now problem is gone. Hope this thread maybe helps someone else

I have a similar problem. Which 3 buttons are we talking about? Power+Home+VolUp?
Easiest way, take out battery, push volume up and power, insert battery while holding, when Samsung appears release only power, when the android guy with package appears press menu
Sent from my SGH-T679 using xda app-developers app
Make sure you push the "Menu" capacitive button (left in the row of four buttons below the screen) when you see the green Android guy and the box. That will get you into the stock recovery menu.
I had to reboot into recovery a couple of times because I missed that part. What a pain!
I have a samsung galaxy s i9000 and it wont boot in recovery neither in download mode .. I know what I am doing is correct with the buttons but it wont boot into recovery or download mode , but instead it reboots . I have put it in download mode couple times before , but idk what is wrong now , someone please help ! Thank You in advance ..

[Q] Possibly Unbrickable
I just recently rooted my LG Thrill 4G with ICS 4.0.4.
When I was trying to install Clockwork Mode Recovery I used a program that had two options. (Looking for the program name now.)
It had "Install" and "Recovery Install" The recovery install was for another phone I believe. I accidentally clicked the latter. Now I start my phone
and I see the LG logo for 1 second before reboot. It's not even enough time to get to adb etc. Is there anything I can do to unbrick it? A hardware unbrick or do I have to send it away and get a new phone?
Thanks.
I believe I was using LGP920_CWM_5.8.1.5_Flasher when it happened if that's of any help.

Ok so I installed the OMAP driver amd started start_fastboot.bat
With holding down the VOL+ Windows makes the sound of a device connecting and doesn't do the disconnecting sound.
Which is good. Without holding the VOL+ it plays the connecting and then 3 low beeps (Unrecognized Device).
But here's the thing. I can't find the OMAP drive in the device manager when I hold VOL+. And the program says it's
waiting for the OMAP device. Any ideas from here?
Here's my problem.
When I start my phone I see the LG Logo for 1 second before it shuts down. I can't access the factory reset or download mode.
My computer doesn't have enough time to connect to the waiting for OMAP device on the fastboot program.
Thanks for your help. It's been very quiet in here.
OMG!
OMG I fixed it! WIth your help!
Though I didn't use the guide, it did provide me with the key piece of information I needed!
Here's how I did it:
1. Install OMAP Drivers.
2. Hold down the VOL+ button and plug in the USB. The OMAP driver doesn't need to appear in the device manager. Just the COM Port.
3. Let the LG Mobile Support tool reinstall the firmware.
And that's it!
Thanks a million!
Now just to be sure I need to test my phone calls etc!
You're welcome
