Today i updated to a stock ics and the lick screen would not lock on password or pin or anything.
So i updated to custom kingdroid ics and am having the same problem

Are your security settings set to none? Try changing it to swipe

I have the same problem... screen locks if I press the power button but does not lock after 'screen timeout'.
Edit: Re-flashed (the same exact way) and that fixed the problem
It seems KD is pretty temperamental
Hmmmm I am just downloading the v7.1 I will flash that a couple of time and see what happens
EDIT --- I have tried flashing this rom a couple of times now and the same thing no lock screen

Every time i press the volume up it goes to a black screen that says forced upload by key press and says modem booted usb ready how do i fix this

1. Is there any fix for files missing in gallery & i music player for any rom I had used aokp4, cm10, and liquid rom, paranoidandroid
I had tried all initially it was okay with everything but after trying battery mod from Dr ashish mine status bar went missing & i the problem is continued after that.
2. Which kernel will best support aokp jb 5 & i paranoidandroid 2.2
3. How to change the battery & signal icon color.
4. Any substitute for radio app for India.
5. How to use mass storage mode also as I cannot use it now.

As i know there is no out of missing files from gallery.

You can try diff systemui.apk files to change battery and signal look.ok

if u have messed up ur rom by flashing some mod.. the install the rom again
. All will be ok
buddy I had it many times even I did format sd card & also checked errors even then it is not fixed I am not sure what's the problem it was there when I first installed aokp 4 but then after installing icy mod of Dr ashish the problem started so I am not getting any way to do the things back to normal again may be you guys can sort out

you are right but even after complete format of phone card these problem occurs when using any of these roms new images are present but the earlier images are not present.

I trayed all roms....but it wont flash with odin....
Ok...now I managed to flash it. But now I have a new problem I've lost the lock screen. Other than that everything works just fine, but lock screen is on holidays.

u cannot add widgets to stock lock screen but u can try apps taht allow lock screen widgets like widgetlocker,
U cant do that with the stock ics lock screen

iam havin galaxy s3 mini and it is locked because of too many pattern tries and i dno m google a/c nor youtube. i tried bypassing it but couldnt!! atlast i thought of reset by entering recovery. bt wen i tried(power buttn+menu+vol up) it doesnt enter recovery!! i tried again still no gain. i kept holding fo few seconds it showd samsung logo and thn vibrate and again screen got off again logo...i released buttons, thn phone got ON. but didnt enter recovery mode 
any help?? i want to reset my phone because its locked..

Flash with odin a rom that has enabled the three button combo, there is a thread here..
Flashing with odin does not perform auto factory reset.
