Audio problems on 2.3.3

I am experiencing an audio problem with Jac 2.3.3. My call recipients complain that the background noise is too loud. They are hearing my car radio when I can barely hear it, they hear my air conditioner when it is on low, and can hear everything else other than me. My voice is being distorted because it is so loud. In the Jac 2.3.3 thread someone suggested downloading audio manager, but I don't see anything on there that would control the mic volume levels. Does anyone have any idea how to adjust this? Thanks...
Did you use any of Meltus's audio mods? I haven't used JAC's ROM myself so maybe he's using it too, but you should try pushing Meltus's V2 and then V6 to your mobile phone and try again.

Yeah, I would recommend pushing one of Meltus's audio mods because that might change mic volume levels which sounds like it could be the problem. Sounds like the mic is taking things in at speakerphone levels, which should be adjustable.
Try turning on speakerphone and then off speakerphone, that might reset it.

Sennheiser MM200 Bluetooth Stereo Headset

Got this headset in yesterday.

Happy to say calling works fine (no voice dialing though).
The sound when using it as music headphones is PHENOMENAL. The lows are wonderfully low and the highs are clear and crisp.
Would definitely recommend this headset !
I'm running the latest 1.66 WWE ROM (2nd ROM upgrade is as many days...lol)
Do you hear your ringtone through the headphones on this set?
And also, do you need to adjust the call volume between every call?

Yes - you hear ringing through the headset - just a generic ringtone though, not the mp3 ringtone you set on the HD2.
Volume stays as set on the previous call, and you can adjust it on the headset as needed.
Can you tell me something about the sound quality if the inbuilt microphones?
A tried a lot of bt-headsets, and the callers always complaint about the poor voice quality.

[Q] Perception 9.5: Call volume thru headphone very low

When I make/get a call while having my phone plugged into my car stereo's Aux input, the call volume is very low. I previously though it simply wasn't coming through at all, but I happed to get a call while the engine was off, and could just barely hear the call volume through the stereo. Even after cranking the phone, stereo & aux level setting in my stereo, the volume's still too low to be used while driving.
Is there a fix, setting, or work-around for this? I really enjoyed using this as my hands-free solution.
One more thing, when I use the stock earbuds with a mic that came with the phone, the volume's fine. I know the phone recognizes headphones with and without a mic from using Tasker.
Thanks in advance!

[Q] phone issues after ics update.

Yesterday I updated to ICS via kies w/o issue.
However after the update the actual phone is having some strange issue.
when I answer a call I can't hear or be heard. if I press the speakerphone I can hear out of the earpiece and can be heard via the speakerphone mic.
also when connected via bluetooth to my car stereo the music audio plays (somewhat) normally but when I answer a call I can't hear or be heard over the bluetooth speakerphone, but can hear and be heard over the handset earpiece and mic. if I press the speakerphone I can't hear or be heard at all.
My gut feeling with an issues like this is to hard reset and reinstall ICS but with all the threads about bricking a phone after an ICS update I am a bit gun shy to do anything w/o some advice.

If you aren't rooted and don't have a triangle and you updated via Kies, I'd contact Samsung and see what they say to help you.

[Q] Any HTC One user has this weird problem?

I've just started using HTC One, and I've found a strange issue.
Call quality of the One is great normally, clear voice and good noise cancellation. But when I plug in my headphone (without mic), people can't hear my voice anymore. If I unplug it, they can hear me clearly again.
Do you have this problem as well? Any solution?
Thanks!
You plug a headphone without mic, and still expect people to hear you???
Sent from my HTC One using xda premium
If you plug a headphone without a mic, phone still uses it's own mic to send your voice so you should talk closely to it's bottom where the mic is.
Never used a headphone with this phone before.
