The developers over at the I9000 forums have made a Honeycomb port! Be aware most thing are broken and it is not ready for a daily driver but keep in mind that it is only the beginning. XDA member Segnaro has made everything possible to flash this on our Vibrants so thank him!

For a new ROM:
Be sure that you're based on a Froyo FW! CRUCIAL.
Root your device and install ClockworkMod Recovery.
(Optional) Go to recovery and make a Nandroid backup
Choose "mounts & storage" and format system, data, cache
Flash GalaxyComb.
To update or flash from CM7/MIUI:
Format /system /data /cache /datadata
Just flash the .zip and reboot

These are my instructions: Whenever you have changed and re-zipped the ROM just flash if you are on a Froyo ROM, I was on Project V and didn't have to wipe.
You can also flash from CM7 or MIUI as it uses the same Install method thingy!?
Oh and the haptic buttons don't work except for back!

They say so.
I tried this the day that it was first posted, and i have to say that i was pretty surprosed with this port, its pretty fast and stable, and it looks great, a little small, but thats to be expected because its designed for tablets. I hope to see more development on this.

Look a little closer. the text that says gps works if a quote from a i9000 post. 2.3.3+ GPS *does* work for the i9000 but not for the vibrant.

(Even more reason for me to ditch the vibrant and get an I9000)
The one thing keeping me back to using a Froyo rom as my daily driver is the fact that the GPS does come in handy from time to time (and not a basic maps search query).

Mine has my SIM phone number obviously, but never shows any bars, never shows available networks, never connects 3G/HSPA etc...

I'm pretty sure GPS is working on i9000 because their using the i9000 GB drivers which means we'd still be in the same position.

I can confirm that 3G data works. Status bar says T-Mobile 3G. Websites work and I've loaded my Gmail account in the email app.
This is really impressive work guys. Amazed at how fast and snappy it is.

Pretty good looking idea, I haven't tried it though. Is there a a way to rework it so you don't have to make build.prob edits. It's supposed to have our inc stuff in there for a multitude of reasons. Just asking.

Tried installing on Ruby 2.0.2 which is froyo aosp and didn't take. I'll try again later when I have more time.

Got it running on miui 6.24 build. Had to go into root explorer after reboot and click on every apk and install before it worked though but it works.

FYI
Tried to install this running CM7. Wouldn't give me the usual startup splash, just flashed a white screen every 10 seconds or so and vibrate. Guess that means its not going to work, let it try to boot for several minutes.
If you've cooked it into a ROM can you post the port? Thanks.

What type of fwipe you did and what ROM you came from
Have you restored any data from something like Titanium Backup
What app is misbehaving and what you were doing when it started
Logcats<--THIS IS PREFERRED.
If you don't know how to logcat, go HERE and learn. This really nice guy took the time to write out a good how to

its b/c of your work, that i decided to resurrect my atrix, replacement screen showed up today, dismantling tomorrow but currently running your miui

Bill I ran this as described, everything boots and works fine, but it wont load the launcher, it just says miuihome isnt responding and it loops "loading" I'll wipe my cashe and report back.

Check the new build. It's up now
I had forgotten one of the bin files that is needed to get the MIUI shell to run, which in turn lets the Home app properly load

Hey Bill i'm getting random reboots after about 30 seconds on this, after full wipe tweaked, emmc.
I Got the log right after the reboot starts, lot of errors in the beginning. Trying a reflash. Same thing.

Just upgraded to 2.12.4, and it's the same issue as 2.12.7 originally: no sound through either the speaker, headphones or handset speaker. No Logcat because I'm not sure how to record a Logcat for the sound not working (as there's no specific fail point or error message).

Wow Bill i've been blown away! I've always wanted to try this ROM! Hopefully we'll soon be able to take advantage of this roms smoothness with a new kernel.

Tried and felt good.
The only problem to me is that it's ENGLISH ONLY.

1 It looks very similar to AOKP, like they all do.
2 http://www.liquidsmooth.net/ Date would be good.
3 Nobody will know yet and everyone's experience will be different.
4 These don't really matter. If it feels smooth and fast, that's what you want, not a score.
5 Again, too early to tell
Try it and find out for yourself.
EDIT: I have just flashed the ROM and I can't enable Wi-FI.

But,
1. WiFi doesn't work
2. Charging LED doesn't work
But,
Liquid Smooth options are cool
This ROM can be great with bug fixes.

Confirm WiFi not working.
Tried cache wipe then full wipe same deal.
Relative DPI is very small. By that I mean more displayed on screen, but harder to read.
Transitions in Go Launcher not as smooth as Epinter CM10 or AOKP.
I forgot to test dock audio before I rolled back (need WiFi). Can someone check that if possible?

Did you use the Options Chooser?

More great work Bill. Here is installed there two hours, and everything works perfectly, including wi-fi. It may be too early to tell, but it seems to me that this battery life better than AOKP.

Cool let me know, I've been running it for the last day and I've not noticed anything glaringly obvious

Well its loosely based on CM10.1 (Device files and Kernel), so I would imagine it will have the same issues as that

According to the Hands free,then Hang up the phone,the phone will be always vibration,and crash
then auto reboot,, and there is no chinese language???

gapps normal or hve u mde special gapps ??

cant get the mobile network to connect..:crying:and i dont hav the navigation keys as well...

Not tried the hands free yet, or tried to see whether there is the Chinese language... You could try more locale?

You can use the gapps in the op, the special ones made by slim roms

I've not had any issues like that, I'm going to reinstall the ROM and see if I encounter any issues, but I did flash the ROM let it boot up and then flash gapps....

Hey mate nice to see you here hows things will you be bringing a rootbox Rom to the Xperia seeing you guys here makes me want to unlock my boatloader lol :silly:

Good to see you here, Vertigo loved your ROMs on the Note 2. Gonna have to flash this version of Slim when I get a chance.

I have had a look at Rootbox, but it wouldn't compile I am going to have another look though, now they've started using PAprefs as I didn't care much for the Xposed framework.... I've already done Jellybeer for it which is pretty good, which I may release
Edit: Just reflashed the rom and got a signal straight away as well as navigation buttons... Done it 3 times now and had no issues at all

Hi there just a quick note to say that this is the best rom so far
Battery is great
Speed is great
and no problems with anything

Why m I the only one with no mobile network???...anything to do wuth baseband as suggested in other thread??
