[Q]Huexx kernel lags too much - LG Optimus Black

Hello guys I just flashed huexx kernel 4.1 on cm7.2 but the phone lags too much all time I don't know what is the solutions
is there a solution to Still us it??
Or should I go back to original kernel (IF,How?)??
and what is the best kernel for battery ??

I think some combos for boype's kernel work great battery wise, I think smartass is doing great,I highly doubt cm's kernel can do better

[Q] Need kernels for CM 7.1 rom ?

Yesterday i flashed fugumod 3.0 kernel . Its not working on cm7.1
Are there any specific kernels for 7.1 !!! i need more speed .......
Thanks in advance
FuguMod can be problematic. Try glitch v12 or neo platypus kernel.

i prefer using Platypus neo kernel. because it has CWM 5. while glitch is CWM 4 i think if not 3, it's 4. and CWM 5 looks really good. you can check it out in my siggy. but you have to flash the kernel cleaning script. look for the good version. and then flash the kernel that you want. and done
Glitch is faster than all. Try yourself you will believe me.

[Q] Android AOKP Beta 3.0 or Team ICSSGS RC4.2

Well, Im New here, just wondering, after using Team Icssgs RC4.2 with stock kernel, Im experiencing super lag issue in the homescreen as well as gaming, change over to devil 14.2, which is very fast and highly recommend by people over there, i experience faster performance but gets random reboots..and now I saw many people saying that AOKP is very good, better than Team Icssgs, is that true?should i switch to AOKP?
Reboots often happen due to overclocking.
Did you wipe after flashing ICSSGS?
**tapatalked with galaxy s on CNA and Glitch kernel**
Go with AOKP build 23 (2.1). I left RC4.2 and went for this one. I combined it with the icyglitch kernel b5.
AOKP 3.0 isn't there yet, buggy for me.
Benjamin
I don´t have reboots on Team Icssgs RC4.2. Do you have overclockt? Clear all the caches & wipe the System?
Still, I'm going to try AOKP Beta 2.1 this evening.
I'll report back!

Try semaphore 0.8.1 kernel with your current rom before flashing new rom. Working great for me. Great battery, no lag & no reboots. Been using for about 10 days or so after trying stock kernel & devil first (15.1 & 14.2)

i tried devil and stock, devil works really fast, but sometimes i just experienced some random reboots using devil, and stock, it is just so lag, compared to RC3..tried semaphore before..seems like there are lesser type of clock control mode?
Can i use the semaphore 0.8.1 kernel for both Roms?
AOKP V0.2 is much bettter than ICSGS RC4.2

Cm9 is better then both of them. Belive me because i tried them. As for kernel i also use semaphore 0.8.1. Is great. At the moment i use cm9 semaphore UC at 800. Very smooth and the battery is better

Really?but seems like CM9 is still in very alpha stages, where camera doesnt even works properly
Try it and u won't regret it. I tryed every ics rom for galaxy i9000 and cm9 is the most stable of all. I use it for 2-3 weeks. I tryed other ics roms but after a day max i swiched to cm9

CNA 1.4.1 + Semaphore 0.9.0
-there is no better rom combi
i suggest aokp 2.1 stable with 0.9 semaphore. im using it currently and its really good
aokp is much smoother than icssgs, aokp have tweaks included
Aokp+ semaphore is working great for me
RC 4.2 is very good, used it on daily basis. Now on Slim ICS

[Q] How to update SlimICS with Semaphore kernel

Hi!
How do I update SlimICS with Semaphore kernel installed (the current versions when new SlimICS version is out)?
Just clean /cache and Dalivic?
Clean something else?
Then install the SlimICS components in CWM?
Do i have a "clean" SlimICS after that without semaphore components left?
And then optionally reinstall semaphore kernel?
Another question: When i want to test Semaphore kernel.... how can i completly uninstall the kernel after testing?
THX!
Mart
Before updating I always revert all semaphore settings to stock, in recovery wipe cache and dalvik, clear init.d and ns tools then follow update changelog instructions.
If you want to revert back to stock kernel after a play with semaphore, the kernel is provided over at the slim website, check the version though.

Thank You for the fast reply!
Do you mean the "Base_Samsung_4.0.zip" as SlimICS kernel?

Sorry I have to ask... do you have the Link for me?
If you are on slim use the ota app!

Thank you again!
Is there a significant performance gain using semaphore kernel compared to stock slim kernel for you? Is it worth trying?

I find the bigmem mode of the semaphore kernel to be better as more ram means better multitasking

What the kernel is battery life for stock rom ?

I'm using GSII v10.1 ROM including stock kernel, but I feel this kernel that this doesn't battery life. Can someone help me choose which best kernel for stock rom (SGS II v10.1)
thank a lot.
No kernel is best..... All kernels are result of hardworking of devs.
Personal opinion CF root... Stable and fine.
New latest is space kernel for stock.
I need best kernel about battery. Everything else maybe I don't need can u help me find it ?

Sad thing... Battery goes on usage. No kernel can help you if you are using your phone heavily all the time...

[Q] Battery Friendly Kernel

Hi everyone!
I'm new to XDA and i just flashed my first custom ROM (Hursty uk's cm10.1 with Miui) and I'd like to ask which kernel would you recommend that isn't a battery hog?
Thanks in advance to those who would reply!
Try Iodak v006 or OptimusPrime v1.5 which are IMO really battery friendly
Anyway you can try all kernel, we do not have that much kernel and you only have to wipe cache and dalvik to flash one so try them all and decide which one is the best for you
