-Use the flashable zip from a custom rom. I recommend using stocklite.
-Get a nandroid backup of your desired stock rom (previously deodexed) with cwm.
-Replace/remove files in the zip with the ones in your nandroid backup. This includes boot.img, system/app, and any other stuff.
-check the updater-script (inside the zip's meta-inf address) to make sure everything is there and you're not flashing stuff to the wrong place.
-that's it, a stock deodexed flashable zip. Good luck, try it, fix it if something ain't quite right.

That's a good tip my friend. I will do that ! No doubt ! Thanx
.................................................................................................................................
I want to make pure KTM stock flashable zip.
I take zip from Stocklite but i wanna ask if it's safe to remove (mkfs.ext4) and (format.sh).
After i remove this files i need to edit (updater-script) and remove line 24 to 31.
Code:
package_extract_file("format.sh", "/tmp/format.sh");
package_extract_file("mkfs.ext4", "/tmp/mkfs.ext4");
set_perm(0, 0, 0755, "/tmp/format.sh");
set_perm(0, 0, 0755, "/tmp/mkfs.ext4");
run_program("/tmp/format.sh");
delete("/tmp/format.sh");
delete("/tmp/mkfs.ext4");
Then copy files from stock (backup) to zip ...
That should be all ?
I haven't the slightest clue of what those files do (gonna google them). Doesn't hurt to try... (as long as you've got a backup and odin at hand)
Nice Idea!! I might try this in my free time.

Hi all
I have one basic and simple question:
is it possible to back to original theme without reinstalling rom. I used some theme which is installed through clockmode recovery interface...
I have rcmix3d 4.0, but it is similar to many roms, I think...
Many thanks
the only way i know is to look at all the files in theme zip using 7zip, then grab the same files from the origional roms zip and copy them to another copy of the theme zip replacing them. then flash the new one. hope i helped kinda confusing.
Just reflash the rom with out doing any type of wipe.

Hi,
Im not sure if this will help, but Dev Janielsen uses Capy's Rom which he modded as well in Funzy RCMix and there is this instruction that I follow in order not to have an auto wipe:
"Ok guys, in order to avoid automatic full wipe when you upgrade from a version to another with few changes, you have to delete (before flash obviously) the script below in META-INF/com/google/android/updater-script".
run_program("/tmp/alignment/alignment.sh"
Of course you have to do a Nand Back up first if you wanna try this method..
Hope this helps..

I am just looking for my old nandroid of v20n, you would just have to remove superuser files I guess and it would be fine. Maybe ro.secure=0 from kernel as well, but not really sure...

I ll upload the ROM and maybe Redy or Gabz or another Pro can have a look at it
Follow THIS thread
Hope the other guys will help me soon, so you can unroot your phone and bring it to service
There is a 'UnRoot device' option in GingerBreak v1.2, maybe that might be enough?

I read in this topic that it doesn't work, but thanks anyway. Im waiting for the unrooted stock rom from NOOBY.
Now using CM10
Previously used Zeus ROM..
At times of using Zeus, I successfully installed Stock ROM (rooted or non-rooted) whatever I wanted without problems.
But after using CM10, when installing with smartflash tool the stock ROMs, I am getting bootloop...
waiting for good solution...

You definitly made a mistake somewhere. Try the v20s bin/fls files from my noob how to, since they also work for me. Did you wipe everything when you were in recovery + flash superuser.zip? Unroot ROM is ready, but you need CWM to flash it and will lose all kind of root access.
how can i rearrange ap.bin files? lg extract 0.2 wont work so i used p970 rom converter. but the bin files arent in ascending order.

Do it manually (look in dev section for the manual tool). Extract all files, rename file0.bin to file00.bin, file1 to file01,... Then merge the file (also in the thread of the tool), inject cwm with the command in the thread and flash it. That s it. Now go and search the thread in devsection. If you have any more questions, come back.

Yes type them into recovery. After you ve flashed, you ll be in cwm, then install superuser.zip, reboot phone, install TB, uninstall unwanted apps

You can install roms of P970, but you shouldnt, since your phone specs are different. So dont do it, or look in the korean forums, I am quite sure, you ll also find custom ROMs there.
You should be able to delete apps via TB now.

I'm a bit of a noob, but the only way to unflash it that comes to mind would be to restore the bacckup of your ROM that you made before flashing. (you did make a backup, right?)
i didn't make a backup...
You cannot unflash anything...
Always as in always take a backup before you flash anything and after you flash it whether it works properly or not.
Your only option is to flash a new rom.

Well that WAS a mistake then, wasn't it? In the future, always make a nandroid backup through CWM recovery. Especially useful if something goes wrong, you forget to do something, device soft bricks or you need to return it to the manufacturer.
Flash the unmodifed ROM again (I trust you still have the .zip file on your computer), and you should be fine.

If you look in the thread there is a section with a flashable zip to deodex .136 rom.
DE-ODEX your ROM!
Make sure you have the flashable ROM installed before you do this.
Download C6903_14.2.A.1.136_deodex.zip (Bittorrent: 412MB), save it somewhere you remember;
Put 'C6903_14.2.A.1.136_deodex.zip' on (the external) SDcard1;
Create a backup of your phone in CWM or TWRP and don't forget to backup the contents of 'SDCard0';
Flash 'C6903_14.2.A.1.136_deodex.zip' in recovery, do not reboot but go back to the main menu;
Clear dalvik-cache ONLY;
Reboot to system.
