1% battery mod for .906? - Motorola Droid 3

Does anyone know of a working 1% battery mod for .906? I know there was one previously but I can't even find that, and the one I found on a different forum had dead links :/

This should help. Just follow the steps. It was made for me a while ago, by BuckMarble IIRC, when I was looking to do 1% mods on a 2.3.6 ROM.

Help with SetCPU!

So heres the problem...
I recently downloaded the app SetCPU because I wanted to OC, but for some reason I cant...i dont see the option...I read in a couple places that I may need a specific kernal...? if so please give me some download links if possible...

Flash the ZIP like a ROM. Or you can get one of the other excellent 1.1GHz kernels in the development forum: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=559
Cheers
Thanks a bunch...I tried flashing it when I got home, but where do I go from there? SetCPU still looks the same...maybe I did something wrong?
I flashed in recovery and then rebooted the phone...so I don't know what I did wrong.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks again
@andrewpottz You rooted and flashed within a couple of days? Impressive. I'm sure u must have done atleast some reading for that.
After you read a few kernel-mod threads from start to end you'll know exactly what to do. Meanwhile use your phone and get used to the stock phone so that you can know the difference when you mod it later.
Overclocking the Nexus one isn't the most important/exciting thing you can do to your N1. If you've noticed undervolting and battery life is more discussed than overclocking/benchmarking. SetCPU is used to lower the voltage at standby & lower speeds after flashing the kernel mod.

[Q] Mods for Stock JPY

hi you all...
first of all i have to thanks all the devs that help people with their mods...
I have a few questions that maybe someone else can have them too...
- What is the difference (it terms of capcability to be modded) between stock JPY and Doc's or other cooker JPY?
- i tryed a few mods and some of them "kill" my phone soo i have to reflash the stock rom... most of them related to battery % (i think that could be related to the mod be designed for modded roms)
- what mods do you recommend to stock ROM... (i'm searching for extended power menu, and 4 locks... since i already have android stock lock and % at battery indicator)... i'm also searching for ginger battery indicator with %.
- should i change (and how to) to a modded ROM?
I do some research before make this post, but i think that could be a very good help to people who have the stock rom.
Thanks and Regards,
Carlos

Stock is as came from the factory cooked roms have been changed in one way or the other generally for better usage .

If a mod killed your phone you have done something wrong more often than not

I know-all that. But I ask for help so if you wanna help good, if you not, please don' t reply. It's all very simple for you, but I made this thread with the intention of merge all info on one post.
About the kill, I know I don't do anything wrong, simply the mod was probably designed for deodex ROM and original ROM is odex

[Q]looking for the most battery saving rom\kernal combo for ma captivate

Hello im new here .. i have being searching for the most battery life saving rom.. ive being searced in the android development forum and i have no idea which one to choose .. so thanks to the one who helps ^^
Thread closed
You need to find the best combo that works for you, everyone's needs are different. For me I'm happy on Serendipity VII, it's a Gingerbread ROM, with the experimental Talon kernel. Read up and know what you're doing before you flash anything, though. Go through the stickies and understand before going forth.

Hello Robert Fisher,
Yes battery backup of stock froyo rom was much better.
It gave me at least 12hr backup so the difference is much large.
After searching all the thread i will try DjangoManouche1.3AromatherapyBeta4.Just downloaded it.Will flash the rom and if it provides me a good battery backup i will stay on gingerbread or otherwise downgrade to froyo.Site admin can close the thread.

[Q] 1% battery for Google Edition?

Just wondering if there is something I can flash to get 1% battery mod for my htc one with GE rom
I am not sure but I flashed the Advanced Power Management mod which is for deodexed 4.2.2 ROMs but it ended up giving me a bootloop and I had to restore from the Nandroid Backup, so I am assuming a lot of mods made for Sense-based ROMs (even though it doesn't say so on a lot of them) will not work. I know this doesn't resolve your issue, but I use Battery Status Bar which handles 1% changes, however that creates another battery notification on the left side of the status bar rather than replace the stock one on the right, of course. It also has many icons you can choose from.

I haven't looked at the SystemUI of the GE roms yet, but you can try my Xposed mod and it might work for you.
