Hello!
So this app was created originally for Motorola Defy, but i would like to test it on other devices.
It calculates the ideal Vsel based on your CPU frequency.
If you have 4 Vsels it will show you 4 results. If you have 3 it will show you 3
You can find the download link in the original thread (link below).
I hope you will enjoy it!

Very useful app, auto detection and calculate works just fine.
Suggestion: Add an update feature via app itself
Question/Comment: What method are you using to calculate vsel values? First two values seem to be low, I am running on higher values. But last two vsel values seem to be high, I am running on much lower values...and haven't had any problems so far.
Great job!

Well, yeah, I've seen the formula...I've read the original thread before installing the apk, just didn't know where the formula comes from and how safe is to use this values.
Like I said, vsel values for lower freqs seem to be unstable for me, and the ones for uper freqs are higher than the ones I use at the moment. (by 4)

Tegrak overclock works on EF02 allowing up to 1.3ghz
Tegrak Ultimate can UV/OV as well
Don't see this here yet so just gonna let everyone here know that tegrak overclock has been updated and supports our epics. I also wanted to set up a thread to discuss internal voltages and such that our gingerbread epics like. It also appears we can only go up to 1.3ghz.
I reccomend buying tegrak ultimate to support this awesome developer
The free version of tegrak can be used but does not apply after reboot.

Oh nice, how'd you come across this? Also we need source OC if I'm correct so is this actually possible? (Please do correct me if I'm mistaken. )

It works and shows in quadrant I got 3304 1.3ghz is a little unstable but 1.252ghz is perfect. The evo 3d got overclocked without source we just needed some love from tegrak

It works. 1.3ghz makes my phone crash. Probably because the voltage isn't set high enough cause it works fine on overclock froyo kernels. I am getting 3300+ on quadrant @1.252ghz w/journaling on though.

The hardware hasn't changed, so the simple answer is, whatever worked for your individual phone on froyo and eclair... Your values will be different than everyone else's, however, so a new thread won't really yield anything useful, just like the other threads.
As discussed before, any discussion of OC and UV settings its like trying to determine a universal diet for everyone - we're all human, but we won't all be perfectly healthy on the same diet. Sorry for the rant, but this particular topic needs to die already...

great news...can't wait untill the source code is released for gingerbread, so our great epic devs can really get this ball rolling, BTW, BIG THANKS to all of our epic developers out there, you guys are doing a great job.........
but i think i'll stick with overclocked froyo till source code
STABLE 1.4ghz ALL DAY!!!!!
quadrant: 2966
linpack: 24.982
rom: syndicate frozen 1.2
kernel: genocide 2.0
I have mixed results at times by just enabling the app and going on any frequency below 1.3 I can somehow bog my phone down into a crash, but I'm going to keep testing.

Either you are drunk or your keyboard has been cheating on you
+1 on the lighter ROM OR
At OP: there is an app called system tuner, where you could decide which applications should start, using that you could have a restricted start up and "might" be able to reduce memory usage.

This is what I am looking for:
3d converter (movies too? haven't seen it...)
overclock
as close to stock as possible/very lightweight launcher so I can use SPB shell.
so far ARC looks closest to this, I just don't want to miss out on options I am unaware of.
Thanks all.
After careful trial and consideration, I decided to stick with 20p since I use this device for work. That said, I have tried every ROM available on that baseband. The winner is Mokee. Here's why...
4g does work.
Wifi works
No call dropouts/ lost sms/ ghost.
Killer interface
Fast as hell
I did not install gapps. I installed via market what I wanted. I like that market was included with nothing else.
Bluetooth works. This is the only ROM that connected to Wifi and bluetooth worked without editing.
Network connected without need of editing flex.xml.
Gripes-
3d is gone. however, the functionality of the ROM and speed of it outweighs the loss.
I have not tried any 3d apps, but having looked at the source, I don't see it being possible from this ROM.
Strange quirk I noticed, when charging by default the phone lags like hell. You can adjust this to your liking in the power configuration, which is far advanced from the default.
You need to install su for certain apps to work properly, and the integrated over clock force closes. As modders, we are not shy of these apps or setcpu. Use them. The kernel does not support above 1008, but I find with the power manager and setcpu on "performance" over clock is unnecessary. Battery life extends by single click, custom settings for the power manager is fantastic.
Winner. 8/10- if 3d worked, it would be a hands down 10.
Great job development team.

Glad you are enjoying your phone more with mokee...
You are correct that the 3d will not be able to work... I think pictures work and that's it...
As far as the overclock force closing I can't find what's wrong with that...
The rom is cm7 based so I believe other cm7 compatible kernels should work if you want overclock... but expect wifi bt and other radio issues... Swhy I figured the stock speed is more than enough...
I tried replacing the default superuser app but the rom doesn't respond well to that.. need to research that more...
I will be updating the rom soon to base off of the latest nightly so stay tuned...
Thanks!

3d camera is working in mokee, it switches the screen into 3d mode. Thus, it may be possible to integrate the 3d interaction.
If this is the case however, as it stands now, there is still an "on/off" ability for 3d. Using this Rom as it is designed now, in order to utilize the 3d it would need to be switched on at boot and would remain on until either the camera is switched on or off, or by full reboot from what I can see.
Any thoughts trek?

I have tried to find many such appps that can tweak your phone or make it better and faster somehow. Till now I have found only three that not only claim to work but also do work.
Note: all these apps mentioned below are free in the market /Google play. If they aren't then I will post a link to them.
1. Sgs touchscreen booster
This app supports our mini and requires no root you can set your touchscreen sensitivity. Though the name suggests Sgs it works on our mini as well.
2. Disk defragmenter by snowak
Ever wondered if defragmentation coud be done through your phone itself. This app defragmenter your sd card thus increasing its read write and access speed you will surely see a significant increase in the speed.
3. Cpu accelerator by snowak
This app has been quite in controversy cause it doesn't support most phones but luckily it somehow it does manage to reduce lagness in our mini.
Note : these apps may conflict with some custom roms and some scripts they were actually intended for those who are using stock based romz but still you can try cause they worked for me on mebitek I will be increasing the list as I find more apps you guys are free to share some apps as well I will try to include them in the list.
Last but not the least do thank me if any of this was helpful in anyway.
Thank you.
Thanks sir!
I now can get better performance for my sister Galaxy Mini, and my Mini too!

Our phones are designed in such a way that the our phone's processor will run at more speed only when it is necessary..there are many reasons main reasons being
1) More speed=more battery consumption
2) More speed=more heat generated..continuosly if the processor is running @ max speed, more heat will b generated & it may harm your phone.
So, it is always good if the phone is running at low speeds for smaller processes & if it goes to deep sleep when u lock ur phone's screen..
200 is good. I even want my note to automatically go into to deep sleep everytime I press the power key.
